Chapter 1600: Chapter 1602: Visiting Her Ho to Investigate

Fu Mingfeng saw Liu Guoying’s old face turn red in an instant and couldn’t help but shake his head and laugh.

“Hahaha, I think only Chiang Xiao can handle you.”

“That girl is just so brazen! If you hadn’t stopped

back then, I wouldn’t have been tricked into accepting her as a student,” Liu Guoying retorted with a glare.

Fu Mingfeng shook his head, amused.

Yeah, sure.

Obviously, it’s your pampering that’s turned Chiang Xiao into such a handful. If soone tried to snatch this student from you now, let’s see if you’d agree to it.

Chiang Xiao ran off but didn’t cross paths with He Jin. Thinking about his wife, she shivered all over and decided to hurry away.

That Wu Xiayue—better not let her start imagining she wants to snatch He Jin.

Chiang Xiao quickly left the art academy again and went to the Jin Family to find Jin Lei.

Not long after she left the art academy, Cheng Cheng entered through its gates.

He was asking the gatekeeper about the first-year student, Chiang Xiao, and the gatekeeper imdiately glanced at him and exclaid, “You didn’t just see her?”

“No,” Cheng Cheng replied, slightly stunned.

The gatekeeper said, “You’re looking for that impressive Chiang Xiao, right? The one who’s great at fighting.”

Cheng Cheng was even more taken aback. What does ‘great at fighting’ an?

“Yeah.”

Thinking of the girl who could go to that place and had the ability to rescue him, it made sense she could fight well.

He nodded, unsure why he wanted to laugh.

So she can fight? Being skilled doesn’t necessarily an being a fighter.

“That’s her. She just left and ran off quickly. You didn’t see her?” the gatekeeper added.

Normally, the school has so many students that it’s impossible for him to know each one. But this first-year student from the oil painting departnt, Chiang Xiao, was very familiar to him.

First, because the girl was incredibly beautiful; second, because not long after starting school, she had famously used a cafeteria tray to knock soone out, and shortly after, she kicked a male classmate flying across the room. Quite the reputation.

“Thanks, sir!” Cheng Cheng said as he turned and dashed out.

But, since he didn’t know what Chiang Xiao looked like, he couldn’t spot her right away. Plus, Chiang Xiao had already run a good distance away and he couldn’t find her.

Standing in the middle of the road, Cheng Cheng gazed ahead. Students occasionally walked by in pairs or threes, but none were the “quick-footed” girl he was searching for.

Did he just miss her?

He didn’t have much ti left and had to leave now.

A flicker of frustration toward ng Xinian surfaced in Cheng Cheng’s heart.

On his way here, he’d asked ng Xinian for Chiang Xiao’s contact information. But that guy rely squinted, his gaze cold and dark, and instead dragged Cheng Cheng off for questioning.

Why do you want Chiang Xiao’s contact info?

He hadn’t confird if Chiang Xiao was truly that person, nor did he know ng Xinian’s stance if it turned out she was. How could he explain it so easily?

Of course, he had to et Chiang Xiao and confirm it first.

Thus, he had another “cordial” exchange with ng Xinian.

But once again, it ended with him losing.

He didn’t manage to get Chiang Xiao’s contact information. Using his own resourcefulness, he obtained a vague address from Great Officer Yang.

He never expected to miss her anyway.

Cheng Cheng returned helplessly, intending to “cordially exchange” with ng Xinian once more, only to be inford that ng Xinian was on leave and had gone ho for the day.

“Ho? Isn’t his ho in the Capital City?”

Zhao Xin said, “Officer Cheng, you still don’t know this? Our Great Officer’s ho is basically our sister-in-law’s ho, hahaha.”

“Chiang Xiao’s ho? Where is it?”

If he couldn’t et Chiang Xiao, he could always check out her ho, right?
