Ji Tingyang returned ho to find Lin Xu and Ji Lanyue passionately discussing the plot of a TV drama in the living room.

Lin Xu rembered this shop was almost in the opposite direction of their ho, unlikely to be on the way.
She smiled without exposing his lie, simply reaching out to rub his cheek, “Thank you, my dear son.”
Ji Tingyang’s ears peeking out from his hair quietly turned red, a warm feeling spreading in his heart.
Ji Lanyue peeked out her head, rummaging through the bag, “Where’s the pudding? Didn’t I ask you to buy it? Why don’t I see my pudding?”
Her nagging snapped Ji Tingyang out of his warm reverie. He raised an eyebrow, “Your pudding?”
“I—I an, why don’t I see mother’s pudding?” Ji Lanyue quickly corrected herself.
Ji Tingyang responded indifferently, “I thought mother would prefer skewers more, so I didn’t buy the pudding.”
Upon hearing this, Ji Lanyue, who had been excited a second ago, suddenly deflated, muttering “stupid big brother” under her breath.
At that mont, Ji Tingyang pulled out a cup of pudding from another bag and waved it in front of her.
Ji Lanyue’s eyes lit up again, “My pudding!”
“Next ti you want to eat sothing, don’t use mother as an excuse,” Ji Tingyang gently tapped her head, handing over the pudding.
Ji Lanyue stuck out her tongue and took the pudding back to the couch.

However, Ji Tingyang rarely watched any of the movies or TV shows Ji Zeqiu starred in. Seeing the kid who used to cling to their mother and ask for kisses now playing a domineering CEO on the big screen felt very disjointed.
But he hadn’t expected to sit down today and watch with his mother, only to find the plot even more incomprehensible.

His eyes were piercing, carrying an undeniable authority and oppressiveness, scaring Ji Tingyang into dropping the blocks in his hands and covering his butt.
A mont later, Ji Tingyang asked confusedly, “But why can Dad lock Mom up?”
Lin Xu was puzzled, “When did that happen?”
Ji Tingyang said, “Sotis when Mom wants to go out, Dad would take her back to the room and lock her up until the next day before letting her out.”

Ji Tingyang nodded, his expression earnest, “Tomorrow I will go and ask them how this TV drama passed the review, and make them take it down for edits.”
