Chapter 699: Chapter 217: The Great Operation of the Resistance Army

“We are in a bit of trouble, Lord Yin Mo. These are the newly recruited guest mages, please could you guide them temporarily.”

Accompanied by a group of spellcasters around the Third and Fourth Rank, the Thirteenth Prince greeted Anvis with a flawless gesture.

According to the agreent, those voluntary spellcasters who beco the Thirteenth Prince’s guest elder can obtain two spells of their own rank for free from the Frost Lake City treasury and will receive a week of personal guidance from Anvis.

After the guidance ends, they have the opportunity to visit Anvis once a month to seek answers to their personal doubts, which is also considered one of the current benefits of Frost Lake City’s camp.

“This is my duty, Your Highness.”

Greeting his new ‘students’ with a smile, Anvis nodded his head, his gaze sweeping over the many spellcasters.

There were a total of fourteen spellcasters, twelve of whom have a panel.

Clearly, it’s much more difficult for the true natives to beco spellcasters than for players.

“So, everyone, follow . This ti I will teach you techniques to condense spiritual power, as well as the tricks to break through from Third to Fourth Rank, and from Fourth to Fifth Rank…”

Taking his gaze back, Anvis led everyone into the Elental Stone Tower where he lived daily.

The reason it’s not a Magic Tower is because the Thirteenth Prince is too poor; after barely managing to build a Magic Energy Elent Pool, he couldn’t afford to continue, lacking other essential facilities like Core Tower Spirits and protective arrays.

Sotis, Anvis even thought of paying out of his own pocket, but couldn’t do so due to restrictions of his identity, thus, he can only maintain this awkward situation temporarily.

However, at least thanks to the Elental Pool, the concentration of magic elents inside the stone tower has already reached the level of a typical Magic Tower. If we only consider the speed increase in ditation, the effects are roughly similar.

After accepting this batch of new students, Anvis’s daily routines beca slightly busier, but he also gained more assistants for handling daily affairs, which was a mix of gains and losses.

The reason these new recruits caught Anvis’s attention is because according to their panels, eight players belong to the Resistance Organization “Starfire.”

This is the first ti since Anvis began teaching, and he couldn’t help but suspect that the Resistance Army might be planning so secret moves again.

Importantly, his forr “Embers” executive Garrot, who he had planted within the Starfire Organization, and Matt, whom he controlled and followed the Child of Destiny Roche, surprisingly didn’t pass on any related ssages to him.

This was quite unusual, as to ensure smooth communication, he had specifically left Twisted Seeds on both of them.

In response, to save space for Twisted Seeds, he had removed those from the Four Nightmares.

Having gained the highest authority in the Inheritance Land, Anvis was not worried about the betrayal of the four.

“What happened?”

Stroking his chin, Anvis’s consciousness sank into the Spirit Space, and he communicated with the two through the invisible connection of Twisted Seeds.

However, the information fed back by the two made Anvis frown.

Garrot reported that his task was to embed so Resistance Army personnel into the managent layers of the kingdom’s local cities that he was responsible for.

As for the purpose of this and whether there are any further actions soon, he did not know.

The ssage from Matt was similar; for now, they were mainly in hiding and hadn’t received any further instructions.

It seed like a typical act of embedding undercover agents into the enemy’s side, however, the scale of this Resistance Army operation was a bit too large.

The regions Garrot and Ma Qi were responsible for, and the territory where Anvis’s Frost Lake City is located, are far apart. Yet, across these unrelated territories, there has been a large-scale embedding of Resistance Army sleeper agents.

Anvis has enough reason to suspect that the Resistance Army’s action this ti is likely to be on a Federation-wide level.

Especially when he tried to prophesy the purpose of the Resistance Army but found that the related fate had been completely scrambled and blurred, he beca even more certain that there must be so unknown scheming hidden behind this!

As a prophet who has reached the peak of Eighth Rank, being unable to observe the fragnts of the future, the other party must be at least at the sa level as him, and considering the scale of this operation, there might even be more than one person involved.

Indeed, as the situation evolved, Starfire, which had won the support of many High Rank prophets, has now completely absorbed the second-ranked Resistance Organization, Radiant Sun, and has beco the largest resistance organization on the Yar Continent, bar none.

However, in the short term, as Starfire integrated so much strength, although its military power surpassed many kingdoms, its system also beca bulky.

With nurous factions within, many leaders each harbored their own thoughts, and even the will of Starfire’s leader Ray, reached the grassroots at a very slow pace.

Out of necessity, Ray, the leader of Starfire, could only temporarily decide to divide the territories under Starfire’s control, allowing the high-ranking officials of Starfire to select their own jurisdictions.

Ray himself was responsible for the overall direction, while a multitude of leaders were responsible for executing his orders.

This was also a reluctant move; Ray was aware of the High Rank prophets ddling in the background of the Starfire Organization, but there was little he could do about it.

Even though he was Ninth Rank, it was not possible to confront everyone, including his own people; thus, he could only employ such delaying tactics.

These High Rank prophets were not united, but rather competitors, letting them dogfight among themselves was the best option.

As a result, other than Ray himself, each leader could only be in charge of executing part of the commands in their own region and could not be aware of the overall objectives of the organization.

After investigating all of this, Anvis checked the recent developnts of the chanical network and the situation facing Prince Lanno.

Seeing that there was nothing unusual, he let the two infiltrators within the Starfire Organization continue to maintain the status quo, without any interference, and continue to slack off and drink tea daily.

Currently, the only one who has a hope of breaking through to Ninth Rank Prophet is Grey Mist alone, and his base is still on the chanical network.

As for the objectives of the Resistance Army… whatever they plan to do, if they are successful, the Continent will undoubtedly fall into chaos.

Isn’t this exactly what the Original Sin Angel wants?

Moreover, his own existence also has a significant impact on the Starfire Organization. If the Resistance Army succeeds, the repercussions of fate will not leave him unscathed.

.….….

“Little Fish, tell , how much longer can we stay here?”

At this ti, in the back garden of the City Lord Mansion, two player mages had just finished their spell practice. They looked around, then moved close together nonchalantly and whispered.

One of them, a Dark Elf Mage dressed in black magic robe and holding a magic wand that looked like a dark abyss, stood in the shadow of a great tree, looking at the Natural Elf leaning on the sunny side of the tree trunk.

On his panel, an ID with a guild prefix was displayed, [Light and Shadow – Ying Ji Changkong].

“According to the analysis in the club, the ti to act shouldn’t be too far off, considering the speed at which organization mbers are taking their positions in different places, it shouldn’t take more than a month… What’s up, Little Ying, got any thoughts?”

Watching the Dark Elf speak, as if a shiny white tooth floated in midair, the Natural Elf called Little Fish [Light and Shadow – Flying Goldfish] felt a bit dizzy.

“I was just thinking, if we go and report our situation to the Thirteenth Prince, could we perhaps seize an opportunity for a hidden task?”

Flashing a grin, the Dark Elf Mage shook his fashion magic wand, and the light of the Transformation Technique lit up from the wand, pointing towards the Natural Elf.

“Also, you promised not to call Little Ying, Fish Fly!”
