Black shadows flickered around him, becoming gradually clearer as ti passed.
The surroundings were located inside a sealed chamber.
The walls were covered with special isolation magic inscriptions to prevent any leakage of aura from within.
Spread across the floor were seven thousand, seven hundred and seventy-seven pure white candles, forming a colossal pattern of the Light Holy Emblem. A huge heptagram composed of platinum inscription lines was engraved into the floor in the middle of the many candles.
At the center of the heptagram was placed a peculiar hourglass, with its sand grains emitting a faint white light, of which now more than half had fallen.
Yanile, along with six other bishops, stood at the seven sharp angles of the heptagram, heads bowed in silence, seemingly awaiting sothing.
On one side of the room, three Red Robed Archbishops stood calmly, observing the progression of the ceremony.
No one spoke, the air in the room completely silent. Countless candles flickered with an intermittent milky white brilliance, giving the room an atmosphere of strange solemnity.
The ti was closing in on midnight, with the sand in the hourglass about to run out.
Finally, before Anvis’s eyes, the last grain of sand imbued with white light trickled down.
