"My second suggestion was ’Team Nexus’ but I don’t think it’s appropriate." Xu Fei said and the others nodded in agreent.

"What about the third?"

Xu Fei took a deep breath, looking at everyone with a solemn expression.

"Legends." He said.

"Legends?" Lin Rongrong frowned and reached for the A4 papers.

"Is the na available?" She asked while perusing the list.

"Legendary warriors, Dragons of legend, League of Legends..." Lin Rongrong rolled her eyes when she read the last.

However, she didn’t find a simple ’Legends’.

"There is no ’Team Legends’." She said, looking at the others with inquisitive eyes.

"I like the na." Qin Wu said and Mo Chenxuan nodded.

Since everyone liked the na, the four left the villa and hurried to the Teams Hall.

The Teams Hall, Mission Hall, and a few other facilities were located at the edge of the administration area; at the centre of the base.

When the four arrived, the Teams Hall was crowded and the registration line was relatively long.

"Let’s hope our team-na will still be available when we reach the front." Qin Wu muttered and Lin Rongrong turned to look at her.

"We wouldn’t be so unlucky, would we?" Lin Rongrong asked with a hopeful expression.

"We can only hope." Qin Wu sighed and wondered if they should have discussed a back up na before rushing to the hall.

Fortunately, her worries didn’t co true and they successfully registered their team.

’Thank god.’ Lin Rongrong sighed in relief, looking at her team badge.

"Let’s go to the mission hall." Mo Chenxuan suggested.

Now that their team was registered, Mo Chenxuan didn’t want to waste ti.

After all, the oil refinery mission was just around the corner.

Since they wanted to join the mission, they had to upgrade their team rank from F to A within a short ti.

"Sister Qin, have you heard from Yanyan and her uncle?" Lin Rongrong asked as the four walked towards the mission hall.

"I haven’t heard frowned them." Qin Wu said and unconsciously frowned.

From what Mo Chenxuan told her, Lu Hao fell out with the army and left the city B base.

However, they didn’t know when this happened and couldn’t predict when Lu Hao and Lu Yanyan would be free to join their team.

"I don’t know if Yanyan is adapting to living in the barracks." Lin Rongrong sighed.

"She has always lived in the army barracks." Xu Fei said and quickly continued.

"Don’t worry. She will be fine."

The mission hall was about five hundred square tres.

When the four arrived, the hall was crowded and loud voices bounced against the walls.

However, the place was livelier than other places that Mo Chenxuan and Qin Wu had visited in the base.

"Is it or has the pay for F-rank tasks been reduced again?" A voice reached Mo Chenxuan’s ears.

"It’s not you." An old man sighed and quickly continued.

"I used to earn twelve points for working eight hours in the general cafeteria but now..., one point per hour which totals to eight points per day."

"Old man..."

"I can’t live on eight points per day. That’s why I am here to accept a second job."

Mo Chenxuan frowned when he heard this.

Tasks, like teams, were divided into nine ranks: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS.

F-rank tasks were all within the base.

Because of this, they were considered low risk and had the lowest pay.

That said, Mo Chenxuan had walked around the base and had a basic understanding of points.

From his observation, eight points was barely enough to buy a two hundred and fifty millilitres bottle of clean drinking water.

If people couldn’t afford to drink water, could they afford food and other basic necessities?

When he thought about it, Mo Chenxuan felt the base was tittering at the edge of an abyss.

If nothing was done, the situation would tip to the dark side and chaos would follow.

"Brother Chenxuan..." A voice pulled Mo Chenxuan from his thoughts.

"Shall we look at the tasks?" Mo Chenxuan asked and Qin Wu nodded.

"Although our team has just been registered, we can take rank F to rank C tasks. I am hoping we will find a good rank C task."

"We will know when we check."

After that, the four went to the south wall and began checking the tasks.

One minute later, Xu Fei noticed a trend.

"Rank F tasks are within the base and are mostly suitable for ordinary survivors while rank E are also within the base but for superpowers. The difference in pay is not small." He said.

"Look at this..." Lin Rongrong pointed at a rank E task.

The task was for water superpowers.

According to the details, the task required water superpowers to fill the base tanks every day.

Because superpowers were different, the task didn’t specify the amount of water that each superpower needed to give.

However, the pay was one hundred points for twenty litres.

Based on their understanding, twenty litres was nothing to a water elent superpower.

However, this little effort was priced so high while ordinary survivors weren’t paid enough to live on.

Considering this, Mo Chenxuan and the others could see that the base was blatantly biased against ordinary survivors.

"It’s unpalatable." Qin Wu said and the others nodded.

Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do for the ti being.

With heavy hearts, the four continued to check the tasks.

Task p: Search for a missing...

Task 2p: Go to city N to search for relatives.

Task 3p: Escort...

Task n-1p: Retrieve docunts from a safe in...

Task np: Get solar panels from...

After checking all the tasks, the four people moved to a corner and began discussing.

"Wu’er, do you have a favourite task?" Mo Chenxuan asked and Qin Wu nodded.

"I am interested in the task to retrieve docunts." Qin Wu said with a thoughtful expression.

At the sa ti, Mo Chenxuan smiled, his eyes filled with admiration as he looked at Qin Wu.

’As expected of Wu’er.’ He thought.
