The second shoot went without a hitch.
With their collaboration on “Original Sin,” Tang Li and Guan Xiao were less awkward in their opposing roles in front of the cara, making no mistakes in their movents or positions.
The director watched the monitor, and perhaps with the benefit of experience, the actors’ second take delivered an even better dramatic effect.
The first scene passed on the second take.
When the director called “Cut!” and “Good!” Tang Li pulled herself out of acting mode, returned Lu Xiaoyang’s cellphone to the props master, and walked straight over to where Gao Wenlan and others were gathered.
Along the way, she happened upon several delivery guys.
Tang Li thought they were delivering late-night snacks ordered by the crew.
Gao Wenlan caught sight of Tang Li and gave her a sidelong glance: “Done shooting?”
Tang Li nodded: “The initial days of shooting were for the actors, director, and crew to adapt to each other without complex scenes, especially on the first day. Not many scenes were scheduled because the director didn’t know the extent of the rapport between Guan Xiao and yet.”
Speaking of which, Tang Li asked Gao Wenlan, “Did you bring Jingtian here?”
“Who else? Do you think he could get out on his own?”
Gao Wenlan flicked her finger in a gesture resembling an orchid finger, lightly lifted her tortoiseshell glasses, and said leisurely, “You’ve been in Shangbu for a few days and haven’t even co to visit. Did a dog eat your mory?”
“I visited the very night I arrived in Shangbu, and I called you,” Tang Li reminded her. “You and Professor Wong weren’t there. I’ve been busy these past two days but planned to make ti to co over.”
Gao Wenlan glanced at her out of the corner of her eye: “I’ve lived for decades; I hate it when people quibble.”

Song Jingtian was sitting in a chair, eating caral pudding.
With a big bag of snacks, he had no desire to pay Tang Li any more attention.
Just then, Guan Xiao ca over.
He was there to greet Gao Wenlan.
Before the drama “Original Sin” began shooting, Guan Xiao had visited the Wong Family with the creative team of the series. With the drama’s hot broadcast, Guan Xiao’s popularity had exploded once more, securing five advertising endorsents. Naturally, seeing Gao Wenlan again, he had to express his thanks.
Guan Xiao also noticed that the relationship between Tang Li and Gao Wenlan was not ordinary.
Otherwise, why would she co to visit the set?
When Gao Wenlan saw Guan Xiao, she had already stood up.
After so pleasantries, Guan Xiao said with a smile, “If Teacher Gao hadn’t visited the set, I wouldn’t have known that you and Tang Li were relatives.”
Hearing Guan Xiao say this, Tang Li knew he had mistaken Song Jingtian for a child from the Wong Family.

The news that the author of “Original Sin” was her godmother also spread quickly through the crew.
After leaving the subway station, Gao Wenlan insisted that Tang Li spend the night at the Wong Family’s ho.
“Professor Wong and I intend to recognize you as our goddaughter; it’s ti to pay a visit to your father’s house.”
