After Wan Chu’er took the money for saving her life from Andrew, she left without any hesitation, ignoring Andrew’s pleas.
Andrew waited for a while, then reluctantly moved to the front of his bodyguard. The bodyguard was already dead, and Andrew took out a phone from his pocket since Wan Chu’er had taken his own phone.
After calling his brother, he waited for his brother to send soone to pick him up.
Andrew thought for a mont, then decided to call Ming Wan, but no matter what, no one answered Ming Wan’s phone, so he had to give up.
After waiting for a long ti, he finally saw two subordinates arrive.
After receiving treatnt at a private hospital, Andrew recalled what Wan Chu’er had said before she left and arranged for soone to investigate Sara. It was indeed found that Sara was still entangled with her ex-husband, frequently giving him tip-offs.
Sara not only tried to lure Ming Wan out of Luozi Castle to hand over to her ex-husband but also tipped off her ex-husband to intercept and assassinate Ming Wan on the way.

After saying this, Sara ran out.
Sara’s words provoked Andrew. He realized that the Lillian family also secretly wanted to kill Ming Wan. Even though he knew Lillian was no good, he had to consider the overall situation and endure the humiliation because the two families had just allied.

After more than ten hours of flying, Wan Chu’er and Ming Wan finally set foot on their holand again. Although this trip only lasted a few days, she felt as if a long ti had passed.
Upon exiting the airport, she saw the people and cars the Crown Prince had sent to pick up Ming Wan, but looked around and saw no one there to pick her up.
It shouldn’t have been this way—Li Shan knew she was coming back, he would have told Jiang Kechu, so why didn’t Jiang Kechu co to pick her up? Was he too busy?
Wan Chu’er pursed her lips, feeling a little lost.

"No."
"He told he would pick you up, so I didn’t arrange anyone, probably he received a last-minute task."
"Oh, okay." Wan Chu’er had to accept this explanation.
She couldn’t rest, so she drove straight to the compound, as it had been a long ti since she had seen the twins, and she missed them dearly, wondering if the little ones missed her too.
Unexpectedly, upon reaching the compound, she saw Jiang Kechu playing with the twins.

"Chuanqi, Hunter, Mommy’s back!"

The two little ones each hugged one of her legs while Wan Chu’er bent down, hugging them tightly.
"Mommy, where did you go? We haven’t seen you for several days, I missed you so much," the chubby little girl, Chuanqi, said coquettishly.
Wan Chu’er smiled, "Mommy misses you and your brother too. From now on, Mommy will stay with both of you."
"Great!"
Wan Chu’er deliberately ignored Jiang Kechu, waiting for him to initiate a conversation. However, after waiting for a long ti, she didn’t hear Jiang Kechu speak, or even see him glance sideways to approach her. Instead, Mrs. Jiang ca out and warmly greeted her, leaving her feeling disappointed.
She thought again, suspecting that Jiang Kechu must be angry with her, and disappointnt turned to cautious appeasent.
"I’m back." She seized a chance to quietly tell Jiang Kechu.
Unexpectedly, Jiang Kechu just flatly "Oh’d" without further comnt, seemingly not caring about her return.
Wan Chu’er wanted to clarify things with him, but there were children and Mrs. Jiang around, making it inappropriate to spill everything right then, so she suppressed her unease, planning to talk after getting ho.
Finally having finished dinner and playing for a while, Wan Chu’er coaxed Chuanqi and Hunter to go ho with her.
On the way, Jiang Kechu remained indifferent, neither warm nor cold towards her.
"Are you still mad at ? Is that why you’re deliberately ignoring ?" Wan Chu’er couldn’t help but ask.
