If the forr Special Soldier leaves the vehicle... the car opposite is twenty ters away from their current car. If he cos and goes, and moves the car away, even at the fastest speed, it should take five minutes. That’s enough ti for them to drive this car away directly.
Wan Chuchu nervously watched the forr Special Soldier ahead. His upper body was still hanging out of the car, his feet hooked inside, while his hands tightly grasped the assault rifle. Judging by his muscular lines, one could tell that he was in a tense state.
What choice will this Special Soldier make?
The safest way, of course, is not to leave the car, just drive this car to ram through, even a few hits can push the car in front away.
Ti seed to have frozen, and there was not a sound inside or outside the car.
Ming Wan’s eyes were still tightly shut, seemingly yet to recover from the intense gunfight just now. Wan Chuchu waited anxiously for a breakthrough: either the person hiding in front would shoot a couple more tis, or the Special Soldier would step out.
At this mont, the Special Soldier suddenly looked back towards the back seat. Positioned diagonally, the Special Soldier happened to see Wan Chuchu’s face popping out while peeking at him.
The instant he turned his head, Wan Chuchu imdiately put on a timid, fearful, and nervous expression. Only this way would he feel at ease exposing his back to them.
Sure enough, after a while, the forr Special Soldier finally moved. He straightened up and softly said a few words in a foreign language to the two at the rear door. Ming Wan didn’t react, and Wan Chuchu guessed that he probably ant for them to stay in the car and not move. She put on a terrified look at him.
The forr Special Soldier nodded at her, thought for a mont, then pulled out a dagger from his body and handed it to Wan Chuchu, seemingly trying to provide her so sense of safety with the dagger.
Wan Chuchu stared in bewildernt at the sharp dagger, thinking this forr Special Soldier has quite a considerate heart.
In fact, she intended to shoot him from behind once he got out, hitting his legs or so other part, so that when they escaped, he couldn’t chase them in the robbers’ car.
The dagger hilt turned towards her made her hesitate. However, the forr Special Soldier mistook Wan Chuchu’s daze for fear. He smiled and placed the dagger between the front seats, right in front of Wan Chuchu’s face.
Then, the forr Special Soldier carefully got out of the car. He held the assault rifle, cautiously aiming ahead, moving forward step by step.
"What happened?"
Ming Wan finally opened her eyes and saw Wan Chuchu with one hand on the dagger and the other holding a gun aiming outside, with a very confused, frowning expression.
Wan Chuchu snapped back to her senses and mumbled, "What do you think our chances are of successfully driving the car away right now?"
"The car windows are bulletproof," Ming Wan said looking at Wan Chuchu’s gun-holding hand.
Ai, it’s really hard to take action! Wan Chuchu was a bit troubled.
Suddenly, "bang—bang—" two sounds ca from outside. The two quickly looked outside and saw the Special Soldier kicking the fifth person lying on the ground. He had already dealt with everyone.
Ming Wan and Wan Chuchu exchanged glances, both wondering what to do. Andrew could send out such an impressive Special Soldier to escort them, yet also confine them, preventing them from leaving freely. Could they really leave once they reached the wedding site?
Now seems like an opportunity! The opportunity is too sudden, and there is danger involved. They couldn’t make a firm decision.
"Call my brother and have his n co to support us," Ming Wan said to Wan Chuchu.
"Alright." Wan Chuchu put down the dagger, took out her phone from her pocket, and dialed Crown Prince’s number.
Just as the call connected, both sides exchanged a "hello," and from outside ca the "bang bang bang—" of intense gunfire, startling the two inside the car. Wan Chuchu’s phone dropped inside the car, and they quickly looked outside. They saw another car approaching from behind, carrying four people; besides the driver, the other three were holding guns out the window, engaged in a shootout with the forr Special Soldier.
Poor Wan Chuchu and Ming Wan in the car in the middle, completely stuck in the middle with no chance of escape.
Ming Wan covered her ears and closed her eyes again, while Wan Chuchu quickly grabbed the phone from inside the car and said to Crown Prince, "We’re on the way to the wedding site. First, we encountered a squad trying to intercept us. Andrew’s people just dealt with them, and then another car ca. They’re fighting now, and Ming Wan and I are trapped in the middle car."
Over there, Crown Prince was startled and imdiately asked, "How is my sister? Leave there imdiately!"
Wan Chuchu said, "The car is bulletproof, and the two groups seem to be avoiding the car while fighting, probably targeting your sister. Contact the five-letter guys for help. I just texted K, but he hasn’t replied yet."
"Alright, stay in the car and don’t move."
"Soone’s coming, I’ll hang up." Wan Chuchu saw two people with guns slowly approaching their car from behind. She imdiately hung up the phone, pretending to shiver and duck, holding her head.
Then people reached the car, and two n in black looked inside the car, seeing the two won ducking with their heads down. They exchanged a glance, one opened a front car door, and under the cover of their partner’s fire, got into the car where Wan Chuchu and Ming Wan were.
When the forr Special Soldier left, he hadn’t removed the car key, so the car soon started moving backward.
Out of the wolf’s den and into the tiger’s den?
Wan Chuchu cautiously lifted her head a little to observe the situation.
The forr Special Soldier outside was pinned down by the enemy fire, unable to lift his head, and imdiately called his boss to report the situation:
"...Miss Ming Wan has been taken; their firepower is too strong. They don’t seem like ordinary thugs. I suspect they’re rcenaries..."
When the two brutish n fiercely threatened Ming Wan and Wan Chuchu not to shout, Ming Wan was bewildered—how had the people changed again, and why did Wan Chuchu scream?
Wan Chuchu deliberately scread because, first, she thought in such a situation, an ordinary timid woman should scream, and second, she wanted to test these two people.
The man in the passenger seat threatened them in English, clearly an unruly demon-like figure.
So the three cars started a shootout on the road. The car Wan Chuchu and Ming Wan were in soon moved to the front. Andrew’s forr Special Soldier chased from the back, shooting as he pursued, and the car in the middle engaged in a fire exchange with him, covering the car Wan Chuchu and Ming Wan were in.
Soon the first car shook off the two cars behind at a fork in the road, leaving Wan Chuchu and Ming Wan completely in the hands of another group, and Wan Chuchu was sure this group was at odds with the Andrew Family.
The sound of gunfire was soon no longer heard, and the forest went back to its silence.
Wan Chuchu thought for a mont and then cautiously asked, "Who are you? Where are you taking us?"
The man who had been driving fast turned his head to glance at her, a flash of bright light in his eyes. The car swerved, and after being scolded by his companion, he turned back and drove steadily.
Neither of the two answered her question, treating them as if they were invisible.
