1615 “Genius”?
After breakfast, Chi Shuyan didn’t go to the police station, but went to Director Wang’s film set first.
Director Wang had made good filming progress recently. Although the incident next door had affected them at first, with the Master’s promise, Director Wang, Ruan Shenglin and the others were no longer worried. It was as if they had forgotten what happened next door. The more filming progressed, the smoother it got.
When she arrived at Director Wang’s set again, she saw that he and the lead actors, Ruan Shenglin and Sister Song, were working hard on filming.
Chi Shuyan didn’t want to disturb Director Wang and the leads, so she simply found Yang Kun and Yan Zhengming and had one of them take her to the film crew next door.
The two were very happy to help and fought to take her.
In the end, soone called out to Yang Kun, and Chi Shuyan let Yan Zhengming take her to the film crew next door.
Yan Zhengming wanted to take her to Director Wang at first, but Chi Shuyan said that she didn’t want to disturb him. Yan Zhengming imdiately understood, and instead took her to the film crew next door.
Yan Zhengming was very curious about why she wanted to visit the film crew.

Chi Shuyan relaxed. It was a good thing she had brought Yan Zhengming with her, or she would be going in blind. After all, she was an unfamiliar face in this circle, while Yan Zhengming’s identity as a top manager was much more useful.

Yan Zhengming had helped her a lot today, so Chi Shuyan naturally agreed right away. It just so happened that she saw a middle-aged man sitting not far away. He was about 40 years old and wore shabby clothes; he was most likely a minor extra. The person whom the Master had pointed out was probably in his forties. How could he still beco popular?

And even if he really could beco famous, how many more years could he be popular at this age?
Also, this person’s looks were underwhelming. Yan Zhengming was in disbelief.
Chi Shuyan didn’t say much and only said, “This year is that man’s lucky year. His luck will be very good and he will soar into the sky. He will get fa and fortune in this year and the next. After that, if you want to sign him…” Chi Shuyan paused and deliberated before she corrected herself. “No, if you want to reel him in even six months later, you will find it very difficult.”
Yan Zhengming was stumped and in disbelief at her words. If it were anyone else who said this, Yan Zhengming definitely wouldn’t believe them, but this was coming from the Master.
Yan Zhengming stared fixedly at the bearded man in his forties not far away. How could he not reel in soone like that a year or two later. No, half a year later!
Thinking this, Yan Zhengming swiftly made up his mind to sign this ‘genius’ whom the Master had pointed out right away; the longer the contract duration, the better.
Chi Shuyan seed to see through Yan Zhengming’s thoughts. She patted his shoulder and said, “People need to be sincere. Good people will be rewarded!”
Yan Zhengming imdiately looked guilty and changed his mindset.
Just then, soone brought Yan Liling’s forr personal assistant over. The person obviously knew Yan Zhengming and said respectfully, “Brother Yan, this is Miss Yan’s forr assistant!”
Yan Zhengming imdiately ca back to his senses and introduced Chi Shuyan. As he did so, however, his eyes were fixed on the “genius” whom the Master had just pointed out, afraid that he would suddenly leave or be snapped up by soone else.
Before the Master pointed him out, Yan Zhengming hadn’t seen any potential in the middle-aged man at all. Now that the Master had brought it up, Yan Zhengming naturally believed her. No matter how he looked at the middle-aged man now, he was a ‘treasure.’
Yan Zhengming was afraid that soone else would snatch him up.
Chi Shuyan saw through his thoughts and said, “Go and do your thing. I’ll take care of this myself!”
