The three of them were seated on the sofa, facing one another, with an air of two interrogating Yin Qi.
"Sorry to bother you, Mrs. Han. We’re from the police departnt, and we’re here today to learn a bit more about so matters." The female officer began cordially, while Heizi remained silent, solely observing Yin Qi.
They had two objectives today: first, to determine whether Yin Qi knew anything about the incident from years ago; second, Heizi was aware that Yin Qi had received the disk. Would she inform Qian Rouxuan as a warning or seize the mont to crush her?
Either result would work in their favor.
Yin Qi felt entirely uneasy. She shifted slightly and attempted to calmly say, "I don’t mind. Go ahead and ask."
The female officer cut straight to the point: "What’s your relationship with Qian Rouxuan?"
The question simultaneously let Yin Qi breathe a sigh of relief while making her blood boil. What was their relationship?
Before she had viewed that disk, they had been the best of friends. But now? Certainly, they were mortal enemies vying for the sa man!
She wished she could tear that hypocritical smile into shreds and flay that fox-like façade!
Seeing her tightly pursed lips, reddened eyes, and clenched fists, the female officer sensed an opening, her eyes flashing: "Mrs. Han, is there sothing you’re hesitant to discuss?"
"No." After a pause, Yin Qi replied, "We’re friends. Did she commit so cri?"
Yin Qi thought to herself, if nothing were wrong, would the police show up at her door? She couldn’t help but feel a hint of schadenfreude. Before she could take matters into her own hands, Qian Rouxuan was already having a rough ti.
"That still needs to be investigated. Do you know Su ng?" the female officer pressed on.
Yin Qi could already guess—it certainly had to do with that old incident. Her thoughts whirled, and she made up her mind: since Qian Rouxuan had shown no kindness, she wouldn’t hold back either. If Rouxuan dared to play gas, she’d have to pay the price.
Yin Qi snapped out of her thoughts and spoke solemnly: "Officer, I have so information I need to share with you."
Heizi, who had been silent all this ti, fixed an intense gaze on her and said, "Go on."
Yin Qi began recounting everything she knew. Years ago, she and Qian Rouxuan had been close friends. The group of friends in their circle had all envied Qian Rouxuan for landing soone like Young Master Leng as her boyfriend. At the ti, Yin Qi herself was already planning her marriage with Han Mingzhe.

In their social circle, many had been aware of Su ng’s disappearance. Yin Qi suspected it might have had sothing to do with Qian Rouxuan...
After listening to her account, Heizi and the female officer exchanged glances, the excitent clear in their eyes. Their train of thought seed to be spot on.
Finally, they rose to leave. As the female officer departed, she said, "Thank you for sharing this information. If we need anything further, we’ll be in touch."
When Yin Qi sent them out, she happened to run into Mrs. Han returning from outside. She greeted her politely and watched as the police car drove away.
Turning back, Mrs. Han looked at Yin Qi with a aningful expression and asked, "Why were they here?"
Yin Qi tried her best to keep her face composed as she smiled and replied, "Just asking about so things."
Mrs. Han furrowed her brows tightly. "Is it about Mingzhe?" Having the police visit at this ti naturally made her overthink.
"No, it’s about Qian Rouxuan." Yin Qi spoke casually while observing Mrs. Han’s reaction. Seeing there wasn’t much change in her expression, she inwardly breathed a sigh of relief. To be honest, she really did hold Mrs. Han in so regard—if even her mother-in-law deceived her, then this family truly wasn’t worth staying in.
She wasn’t lacking for money herself, and she could certainly take care of Beibei!
