Cheng Lu said in a strange tone, “What are you doing?”

“We can talk when you co out.”

“Then wait for for five minutes.”

Xu Xiuwen nodded and walked to the side with Yang Baishan to wait.

After about three or four minutes, Cheng Lu finally ca out of the activity room and casually closed the door.

By this ti, Cheng Lu had changed out of her previous clothes.

The tight pants were replaced with jeans, and she wore a white t-shirt with a black sheer coat over it.

She had also taken down her hair bun, letting her hair fall loose over her shoulders.

Cheng Lu thought there was only Xu Xiuwen in the corridor, so she was sowhat surprised to see Yang Baishan beside him.

She calmly asked, “What do you want from ?”

Cheng Lu looked very beautiful at this mont.

She didn’t really dress up much; her clothes were quite ordinary, the kind many female college students wore. But when Cheng Lu wore them, she exuded a unique charm.

Xu Xiuwen ca back to his senses and asked, “I heard that the University’s literary and art departnt will send soone to Jiangling to help with the evening party. That person is you, right?”

Cheng Lu nodded and said, “Yes, it’s .”

Xu Xiuwen continued, “The school wants our departnt to organize the evening party.”

“I know. So why did you co to ? Shouldn’t organizing the evening party be the responsibility of the literary and art departnt of your departnt’s student union?”

Xu Xiuwen continued to explain, “The head of the literary and art departnt has no experience organizing evening parties. At least I have participated in evening parties before, so the counselor wants to be in charge of organizing the evening party.”

Cheng Lu was surprised, “Did your departnt assign you to be in charge?”

“Why, am I not allowed to do it?” Xu Xiuwen replied.

“I didn’t say you couldn’t,” Cheng Lu’s tone was flat.

After so thought, Cheng Lu asked, “So if you’re in charge, why did he co to find ?”

Yang Baishan was eager to speak when Cheng Lu asked about him, but Xu Xiuwen didn’t give him the chance, and said first, “He’s the Youth League Secretary of our class. The counselor asked him to help organize the evening party.”

Cheng Lu questioned, “Isn’t Dong Jun your class Youth League Secretary? He’s always the one attending etings.”

“Dong Jun is the class monitor, Yang Baishan is the class Youth League Secretary, but he always asks Dong Jun to attend etings on his behalf,” Xu Xiuwen explained.

Cheng Lu scoffed, “That’s not how a class Youth League Secretary should act.”

Xu Xiuwen countered, “But now he’s qualified, right?”

Cheng Lu nodded, not saying anything else.

Cheng Lu’s attitude was still relatively good; she didn’t throw shade or ignore people. Plus, her voice was very pleasant to listen to.

Xu Xiuwen quite liked listening to her talk.

After a mont of thought, Xu Xiuwen said, “We never had a chance for formal introductions. Let introduce myself now. I’m Xu Xiuwen.”

“I know your na is Xu Xiuwen.”

“I’m from Langya. How about you?” Xu Xiuwen asked knowingly.

“I know you’re from Langya. I’m from Hangzhou,” Cheng Lu replied.

It’s not surprising that Cheng Lu knew that he was from Langya, after all, she was Xiao Youran’s roommate.

However, when she ntioned she was from Hangzhou, Xu Xiuwen was surprised, “Aren’t you from Xi’an?”

Cheng Lu looked at him and asked, “Who told you I’m from Xi’an?”

Xu Xiuwen suddenly realized that although Cheng Lu attended high school in Xi’an, there was no rule that only Xi’an natives could attend.

He quickly accepted this fact.

Without dwelling on it, he asked, “Let’s get to the point, how should we organize the evening party? Do you have any ideas?”

Cheng Lu pursed her lips and paused before saying, “Aren’t you in charge? You should be the one considering this.”

“But you’re helping out, and you have experience organizing welco parties. Can’t you offer so ideas?” Xu Xiuwen replied.

“I don’t know much about your departnt or the people there, whether they’ll cooperate or not. How can I offer ideas?” Cheng Lu reasoned.

Xu Xiuwen thought for a mont, realizing Cheng Lu had a point.

“You’re right. Let’s gather everyone first and have a eting to discuss how to proceed.”

But Cheng Lu suddenly changed the subject, “Actually, we should just focus on preparing performances first. As long as we have performances, everything else is minor.”

“You’re right. Let’s prepare the performances as soon as possible,” Xu Xiuwen agreed.

Cheng Lu rolled her eyes, “Why is everything I say right? Don’t you have any ideas of your own?”

Xu Xiuwen chuckled and explained, “Well, you’re making valid points. I can’t just contradict you for the sake of it.”

Cheng Lu smiled softly when she heard this.

This smile completely lost the iceberg feeling.

With her rosy lips, white teeth, and fair complexion, she looked especially attractive when she smiled.

Xu Xiuwen rembered her dancing earlier and couldn’t help but ask, “I asked the counselor, and it seems that participation isn’t limited to students from our departnt only. Do you want to perform a dance?”

Cheng Lu imdiately shot him a disdainful look and lightly bit her lip, “So you did notice.”

Xu Xiuwen smirked, “It wasn’t intentional. I just happened to see it when I was standing at the door. Can’t bla , right?”

Cheng Lu’s expression remained indifferent, neither speaking nor showing any change in her deanor.

Seeing this, Xu Xiuwen couldn’t help but teasingly say, “That dress you were wearing earlier, and those tight pants, you looked really good dancing in them.”

Cheng Lu scolded him, “Pervert!”

Xu Xiuwen didn’t take it seriously.

Because even though Cheng Lu was scolding soone, her tone didn’t sound angry at all; instead, it had a playful tone.

Yang Baishan on the side was almost dying of anxiety.

When Cheng Lu started chatting with Xu Xiuwen, it was as if he didn’t exist at all.

He hadn’t said a word since Cheng Lu walked out of the activity room.

Moreover, what the two of them said was clearly in Mandarin, but there were so words that he couldn’t understand.

He was helpless and couldn’t get angry at Cheng Lu. He blad her for ignoring him and could only look at Xu Xiuwen with resentnt.

Xu Xiuwen checked the ti and realized there was still an hour left until afternoon classes ended.

He then said to Cheng Lu, “Tonight, I’ll invite the class monitors from the managent and engineering departnt and the mbers of the departnt’s literary and arts section to have dinner together. It’s a good opportunity for everyone to get to know each other and discuss how to organize the evening party.”

Cheng Lu didn’t object.

She nodded slightly and humd.

Xu Xiuwen, noticing this, felt a slight joy in his heart and imdiately said, “Then wait for for a mont. I’ll go back first to contact soone and find a good restaurant. I’ll let you know when it’s ready.”

Xu Xiuwen finished speaking and was about to call Yang Baishan to leave together.

Cheng Lu suddenly stopped him, “Xu Xiuwen, are you stupid or sothing?”

Xu Xiuwen was taken aback.

Cheng Lu continued, “How are you going to notify once you’ve found a restaurant?”

“Via text ssage—” Xu Xiuwen’s voice abruptly stopped.

He suddenly rembered that he didn’t even have Cheng Lu’s phone number.

Cheng Lu snorted softly, “What a fool.”

Xu Xiuwen was not Yang Baishan, so he didn’t understand what Cheng Lu ant.

But he instantly realized.

Cheng Lu suddenly reached out and said, “Give your phone.”

Xu Xiuwen imdiately took out his phone and placed it in Cheng Lu’s palm.

Cheng Lu took the phone, bowed her head, and pressed the buttons on the keypad, saving her number into Xu Xiuwen’s phone.

Yang Baishan had initially thought Cheng Lu would just say her number out loud and was still excited, but seeing her do it this way, his face imdiately fell.
