Several System ssages appear at once, making a grin spread across my face. Albeit one that is imdiately wiped away when a bunch of attacks nearly hit and I’m forced to teleport back again.
{Congratulations! Your Active Skill ‘Quantum Displacent’ has reached Level 50! Would you like to expend 10 Authority Shards to raise the skill to Ascendant Tier?}
“Yes!” I answer out loud, making the Ascendants here attacking pause in surprise. Only for many of them to grow anxious, upset, or straight up angry when they see the massive amount of quantum energy rushing all over my body. With my body itself glitching out and disappearing before reappearing over and over again. Almost like I’m so sort of error in reality.
Then I get another set of System ssages.

[A skill has been brought to Ascendant Tier. Requirent to bring a skill to Ascendant Tier has been cleared.]
[All requirents to reach Ascendant Tier have been cleared except for one. May you reach the peak of existence by slaying one at the peak.]
Legendary Feat – The Ruler of Skills
As the first to gain an Ascendant Tier skill, all of your skills now retain a 50% increase in effect. You are also granted an additional Passive and Active skill slot.
Without any hesitation, all of the Ascendant Tiers here imdiately turn their attacks on all at once. Completely ignoring attacks from my parents in the process.
Which makes sense since they all just got the notification about my getting an Ascendant Tier skill.
But I just grin before activating my new Ascendant Tier skill. Then I reappear completely outside of the Dinsional Grid close to the border between corrupted and non-corrupted universes. Teleporting thousands of galaxies away in one go.
Far away from them.
Okay, I may have underestimated just how powerful an Ascendant Tier skill is…
Then again, I don’t exactly have the Authority Shards to raise another skill to Ascendant Tier even if I reach level fifty in another skill. Which will be a problem in the future.
It also goes to show just how difficult it is to get an Ascendant Tier skill.
I’m gonna need to collect shards for when Energy Manipulation reaches level fifty.
On another note, it’s kind of surprising that I’m the first person to get an Ascendant Tier skill. But at the sa ti, not all that surprising.
I’ve never heard of a requirent to reach Ascendant Tier being to get an Ascendant Tier skill before after all.
Normally Ascendant Tier skills are harder to get than simply reaching Ascendant Tier is.
You have to constantly use the skill over and over again to level it up, whereas you just have to kill a bunch of things and et so requirents to reach Ascendant Tier. Not to ntion that the users with the harder requirents that may possibly include getting an Ascendant Tier skill still haven’t reached Ascendant Tier themselves yet.
Only a few Class S species have reached Ascendant Tier so far.
Anyway, I take a deep breath before just floating in space. Deciding to use this as a break to rest and recover before I go into the dungeon to fight my final challenge before Ascendant Tier. After using the two new skill slots I just got with that Legendary Feat, that is.

And while I’m at it, I go ahead and open my list of Legendary Feats. Which I don’t do very often.
The Reaping - (Bonus: Your Quantum affinity is enhanced to Class S. Your class selection now only includes the class Quantum Reaper.)
The First Clear – (Bonus: As the first to clear a dungeon in the new dinsion, your first loot box in every dungeon will always give you an item of a single Tier higher than what it would’ve otherwise given. You are also given the General Skill known as Dungeon Map.)
The Vanguard –(Bonus: As the first being to ascend in Tier within the System, you are gifted with a token that you may use to upgrade your class whenever you desire to the next rarity. This is a one-ti-use item and will vanish after use.)
The First Authority –(Bonus: As the first to reach Authority Level 5, you may pass through any Dinsional Barriers regardless of if the Dinsional Barrier is locked down by order of that Block’s Dinsional Council.)
Slayer of Kings – (Bonus: As the first user within the System to kill a Class S being, you are now granted an extra Active Skill Slot!)
Dinsional Conqueror – (Bonus: As the first user within the System to kill the Dinsional Leader of another Dinsional Block, you gain the ability to know the general location of the Dinsional Leader and Dinsional Champion of whatever Dinsional Block you’re in at all tis.)
Chaos Hunter – (Bonus: As a part of the first group of users to kill a Cataclysm Class monster, you are granted System Assistance whenever slaying a creature of Chaos.)
The Dungeon Hunter – (Bonus: For slaying the Tier 4 Boss monster known as The Horror and therefore also its protector, the Tier 5 Lupin Parasite of Cataclysm, with no assistance and while at Tier 4 yourself, you will now deal true damage so long as you are not directly attacking the exterior of a being’s physical body.)
The Nightmare – (Bonus: For becoming the first user within the System to clear a Tier 4 Dungeon, you will now gain a permanent 10% boost to all of your stats while you are inside of a dungeon.)
The Second Authority – (Bonus: As the first to reach Authority Level 6, you may force a Dinsional Block’s war to end without any result once per war between the sa pair of Dinsional Blocks.)
Peak Pioneer –(Bonus: As the first to reach Tier 5, you are given a permanent boost in EXP received from slaying monsters.)
The Slayer of the Anti-magic Hound – (Bonus: As the first to slay a being completely immune to magic, you are given an immunity to one third of all magic damage.)
The Apex Predator – (Bonus: All of your attacks are automatically increased in power by fifty percent whenever you are facing a stronger opponent. In addition to that, all of your stats are increased by one hundred percent whenever you are facing an opponent of a Tier higher than your own.)
The Prival Slayer – (Bonus: You are hereby granted a permanent immunity to all hellfire.)

Okay. Good.
I take another deep breath before rereading through all of my Legendary Feats and their effects. Just to begin making a plan to fight the Ascendant Tier boss.
The Dungeon Hunter will make it easier to kill the boss if I’m inside of it while fighting. The Nightmare is just a straight up boost, sa as The Slayer of the Anti-magic Hound.
The Apex Predator will be crucial since my stats will be increased by an entire one hundred percent against the boss.
Chaos Hunter should apply since I believe the boss is of that type. Which should boost my damage a bit, albeit not much.
And, of course, The Ruler of Skills will be very helpful just in general.
With all of these things helping , it should be possible to slay an Ascendant Tier monster at level 2501 without my True Form.
Especially with my new Ascendant Tier skill that is now boosted by an extra fifty percent thanks to the Legendary Feat. Which is actually probably why it’s stronger than I expected.
I feel a smile spreading across my face before I begin focusing on which skills to slot.
