Roswaal waved a hand dismissively. "She followed Elsa. It seems she sees you as a reliable big brother figure now."
Subaru looked at ili, who bead at him.

Ram sighed. "Barusu, just accept it. They work for Roswaal now, aning they work for you as well."

Roswaal looked at Elsa and ili as he spoke. "Maids and Bodyguard for Emilia just like you".

Subaru exhaled sharply, rubbing his temples again. "Okay. Fine. Whatever. If Emilia is okay with this, I'll deal with it." He looked at Ram. "Please tell you have so common sense left."
Ram sighed, clearly just as exhausted. "Roswaal's decision is final. Just don't let Elsa near the kitchen, and things should be fine."
Subaru groaned. "Great. My life is turning into even more of a circus."
Roswaal smirked. "Ohoho~ Don't be so dramatic, Subaru. Just think of it as... strengthening our defenses."
"Yeah, sure," Subaru muttered. "Or setting the house up for an eventual murder spree."
Elsa smiled at him again, her eerie eyes gleaming. "Don't worry, Master Subaru~ I'll take good care of Lady Emilia."
Subaru's eye twitched. I really need a vacation...
Subaru then looked at Rem as he spoke. "So where is Emilia"
Rem looked at him as she spoke. "Will um she... Was the first too wake up and she saw Elsa and will um".

"Let guess," he muttered, "she woke up, saw Elsa in a maid outfit, and imdiately noped out?"
Rem gave him an apologetic nod. "Yes... she locked herself in her room and has been like that ever since."
Subaru groaned. "Alright, guess it's my job to fix this too."
Inside Emilia's room, she was curled up under the blankets, peeking out occasionally as if expecting Elsa to jump out of the shadows.
Puck floated beside her, tail flicking. "Liaaa~ You know she's not going to gut you in your sleep, right?"

Before she could protest, he opened the door and stepped inside.
"No!" she squeaked, pulling the blankets over her head. "If you brought Elsa, I'm not coming out!"
Subaru sighed. "Relax, I ca alone. Look, I know it's weird—trust , it hurts my brain too—but Roswaal hired Elsa and ili as maids and bodyguards."
Emilia peeked out. "But... why?"
Subaru scratched his head. "Sothing about strengthening our defenses. Honestly, I think it's just because Roswaal is insane, but hey, free extra help."
She still looked uncertain. "But she's tried to kill us before..."
Subaru sighed and sat on the bed beside her. "Yeah, and I don't trust her either. But if she wanted to kill you, she could've done it already. For now, let's just keep an eye on her. If she does anything sketchy, I'll handle it, okay?"
Emilia hesitated, then nodded slowly. "...Okay. But I'm still not comfortable."
Subaru chuckled. "Join the club, princess. Now, co on, let's get so food. You can't hide forever."
Emilia hesitated a bit more before finally letting Subaru help her up.
Outside the room, Elsa was waiting in the hallway, smiling. "Lady Emilia, good morning~"

Later that night Elsa has given him the Box pride Witch Factor, as she walked saying that she didn't even show t Roswaal and hidden well, as Subaru then Opened the box as the witch factor flowers into him
