"Hum... Hum... Humm!"

The quiet humming echoed eerily through the dim corridors of the Military Base.

For a while, it was the only sound breaking the tense silence.

Then, without warning, a deep chanical groan filled the air as the massive steel do above began to part. Gears screeched and tal shifted, revealing the vast expanse of the night sky.

The moon hung high and radiant, its silver glow brilliant and untad. Yet, curiously, not a single beam touched the earth below. The light halted unnaturally at the periter, as if forbidden from crossing into the territory cloaked in darkness.

"FLASHHH!"

Suddenly, a blinding arc of concentrated energy shot down from above, cutting across the air like a divine judgnt. It howled as it descended, searing through the atmosphere with a hiss that made the sky tremble. The energy burned with such intensity that the very air warped and shimred around it.

And then—

"BOOM!"

A thunderous explosion ripped through the land.

"Rumble!"

The very ground convulsed, sending tremors far and wide. And then dust erupted from the shadowed domain in towering plus, while debris launched in all directions like shrapnel.

Then a colossal shockwave surged outward, obliterating everything in its path.

Rows of fortified chs crumpled like paper, and their pilots were vaporized in an instant.

Even Commander Dexter, stationed at the outer periter, stood no chance. His death ca without warning, swallowed in the force of the blast before he could comprehend the scale of destruction.

Only a few guard, stationed nearly 2 kiloters away, watched in stunned horror.

Their whole beings trembled as they witnessed the impossible.

Just one strike.

A single strike caused such catastrophic devastation.

Where the arc had struck, the land bore a monstrous wound. A deep scar stretched across the terrain, hundreds of ters long and carved with ruthless precision. The sheer magnitude of the impact had altered the landscape itself, as though a colossal blade had cleaved the world apart.

The Darkness Domain finally shattered.

A figure was hurled outward like a cannonball, crashing against the scorched earth with brutal force. Blood gushed from his mouth mid-flight, painting the air with crimson trails before his body slamd into the ground.

"Shit... Who is it now? He killed everyone!"

"Goddamn it! That power is terrifying!"

"The last monster was already unnatural... but this one? He’s on a whole different scale!"

"Who the hell is this second freak?"

Their panicked shouts echoed through the desolate battlefield, voices trembling with disbelief. Then, as one of the survivors looked up, his breath caught in his throat.

A shadow lood overhead, descending like an obsidian mountain.

"Huh...? That’s not a monster...

That’s a cha!"

The truth struck like lightning.

A towering figure of black tal stood among the carnage, its fra absorbing every ounce of moonlight rather than reflecting it. Its armor, forged from a substance darker than voidsteel, shimred with a faint, unholy gleam.

Embedded within its chest was a spinning core, glowing with pulsating light. Each rotation sent waves of energy through the air, humming with restrained, overwhelming might.

The cha clutched an enormous runic Sword. But not as a separate weapon. It was a part of its body, grown from its very fra.

Symbols etched along the blade’s length flickered with cryptic energy. While Its crimson eyes flashed with unnatural rhythm, syncing with the low thrum of its systems.

Then ca the voice.

A guttural, amused chuckle spilled from the cha’s external speakers, cold and full of venom.

"Found you, Igaris."

The laughter that followed was low, drawn-out, and laced with cruel satisfaction.

The voice belonged to Adrian.

Clad within the cockpit of the S-Rank cha known as Dark Knight, Adrian hovered above the wreckage with his thrusters humming.

Now, he was a symbol of destruction incarnate.

And he had co for Igaris.

When Adrian first heard rumors about a survivor nad Igaris rising in the Western Front, he had dismissed it. Just a coincidental na, he thought.

But sothing primal, deep in his blood, told him otherwise. Instinct sharpened by hatred. That sa na had once belonged to a Cripple young master from Orca. He was a pest, a threat, a stain on Skadi Imperial legacy.

Adrian’s instincts scread it was him.

And now, staring down at the broken body lying motionless below, he knew. His suspicions were no longer theory. They had beco truth.

"I always knew you’d crawl your way out of the mud," Adrian sneered. "But did you really think you could challenge us?"

A single strike from an S-Rank ch could level cities, reduce mountains to dust. What hope could a rat from the other side of the wasteland possibly have? He thought.

He hovered lower, his thrusters hissing, the ground trembling beneath the pressure. Sparks rained from above, framing the scene in a storm of fire and smoke.

Below him, Igaris lay sprawled. His body was bruised, limbs bent unnaturally. His once-handso face—known to so as noble and to others as cursed—was now marred beyond recognition. Blood stained his lips. One eye remained shut while the other, half-open, stared blankly toward the stars. A man brought to the brink of death.

Adrian looked at him with a mix of triumph and disdain.

"You should’ve stayed buried, bastard! You should have stayed a cripple, not dreaming of revenge," His voice dripped with loathing.

Then, he activated his blade, which ignited with a deep pulse. The air hissed around it, forming a spiral of energy that crackled at the edge of collapse.

Adrian was finally ready to put an end to the scourge who refused to yield.

But just then, Igaris’ eyes fluttered open.

Then, In a low voice, almost like a witch’s curse, he muttered:

"Co forth..."

Instantly, a legion erged from the shadows.

"Swoosh, Swoosh, Swoosh!"

Malthius, Shadow Reaper, Serynthia, and many other powerful beasts appeared, standing protectively around him. Their numbers only neared around 200. Because, only the strongest chs and Beasts had been summoned to his aid.

Against overwhelming odds, Igaris believed that only unity could prevail.
