"Whatcha sayin’, kid?" one woman snapped, frowning as she pointed her pistol at him.

The five thugs behind Igaris, also drew their weapons. Such as knives, laser guns, and more.

From the shadows, a Black cha stepped forward, its tal fra gleaming under the the flickering light. It erged the mont the boss sensed sothing was off.

Next, he was just about to tap the communication device on his belt to summon for more powerful aid.

But Igaris had already seen everything with his Architect’s Eyes.

So, he moved.

"Whoosh!"

Using his sheer physical strength, Igaris vanished from his spot, appearing right in front of the boss, bypassing the cha’s defense protocols in less than a blink.

"Bang!"

One clean punch shattered the communication belt.

The boss staggered, his eyes wide with horror.

"Cough... Y-You’re one of them... a monster!" he gasped.

Igaris remained calm.

"Yes. I am. And compared to them, you’re nothing."

Without pause, his hand thrust toward the boss’s chest. And radiant platinum energy surged from his palm, glowing with otherworldly power.

The boss tried to struggle, but another hand gripped him tightly in place.

His synthetic eyes, even with advanced perception tech, couldn’t save him.

He was helpless. Like a chicken before a wolf.

anwhile, his two female subordinates tried to act, but were imdiately forced into lee combat by Igaris’s 5 Slaves.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Gunfire erupted in the secret room.

One of Igaris’s slaves collapsed under the laser fire, but the two won were swiftly subdued in return.

Above him, the Black ch descended like death incarnate, thrusters howling with power.

It no longer received commands.

But it didn’t need to.

It had already been ordered to kill.

And the emotionless machine would carry out that order with chanical precision.

Igaris’ Death seed inevitable.

The massive blade of the Black ch descended with crushing force, aiming straight for his head.

But he never looked panicked.

His six-directional sense had been tracking every inch of movent.

[Lightning Shell]

In the instant before the strike landed, a shell of crackling lightning enveloped Igaris’ body like armor forged from pure energy, pulsing with lightning power.

Then, the blade ca down.

Clang!

But it was stopped.

Two fingers.

That was all he needed. Igaris caught the enormous blade between two fingers, like a pair of calm pincers.

Lightning arced up from his fingertips and surged into the ch’s arm.

"Zzzttt—!"

The machine shuddered violently.

Its systems began to stutter, lights flickering across its armored fra. In one breathless second, the ch froze entirely, as if stunned by the electric shock coursing through its neural circuits.

The two won froze, stunned by Igaris’ overwhelming strength.

More importantly, their forr boss, once a figure of fear and authority was now bowing his head before the very monster they had just tried to intimidate.

In that mont, they understood: resistance was not an option.

"Your might knows no limits, Master. From today onward, you will be the true Boss of the Black Daggers in Oyster Town,"

the previous boss declared, his tone filled with reverence and bootlicking.

Igaris gave a calm nod.

"Clean up the ss. And handle any n headed this way."

"Yes, Boss!" Rax replied, saluting with unwavering loyalty.

---

Half an hour later

Igaris sat comfortably in a worn leather chair as Rax finished delivering the information he had requested.

The truth beca clear.

The Black Daggers of Oyster Town were rely a small branch of a far larger organization—the Black Dagger Syndicate, headquartered in the Capital.

That ant there was still one true boss, soone who oversaw the entire Syndicate from behind the scenes.

But for now, Igaris had full authority to operate as the de facto leader of this Town.

Then, the conversation shifted toward Paradise, the land he had was eager to know.

Rax explained that the so-called Perfect Society operated under a single, dominant rule: The People’s Federation, governed by an elected central party every 10 years.

It was sowhat similar to the Earth governnts Igaris once knew, but here, the system was unified under one banner, forming a powerful regi.

"There are over 10,000 cities and 48 gacities in Paradise," Rax stated.

So, in essence, the Federation had access to a staggering number of resources and military power that had yet to be fully mobilized.

"They’re probably gathering strength," Rax warned, lowering his voice.

"Next ti, they won’t just suppress the Rebel Summoners. They’ll try to wipe them out completely with overwhelming force."

Igaris leaned back in his chair, exhaling a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding.

He shook his head, trying to dispel the unease clawing at his chest.

There was no point in worrying. Not now.

He was still too weak to interfere in the war.

And yet, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t silence the concern gnawing at him.

The concerns for Evernight.

She was probably out there, caught in the chaos, fighting for her father’s vision and sacrifice.

"What if sothing happens to her?

Would I be able to bring her back... using the Acquisition Space?"

The question lingered, heavy with uncertainty.

His eyes drifted toward the cha standing tall near the edge of the room.

It wasn’t massive, but its design was fierce, efficient, deadly.

"So... how does this thing run?" he asked, his voice calm as he turned to Rax.

The man straightened. "It uses Energy Stones as fuel, Boss. And it operates through sothing called a Soul Link System."

"Energy Stones?" Igaris raised a brow. "Do you have one?"

"Yes," Rax said, fishing out a polished stone from his pocket.

It was dark grey, almost tallic, faintly pulsing with internal light.

"These are valuable," Rax explained.

"They’re used as both currency and fuel. Especially for chanical constructs like this cha. Though the financial system primarily runs on digital funds, Energy Stones are like solid gold in the underground."

Igaris narrowed his eyes, focusing on the stone.

The aura... it was unmistakable. Spiritual energy.

"So they’re using Spirit Stones to power their machines," he muttered.

His voice was low but thoughtful. "And from the looks of it, Paradise has enough of them to keep this whole world running."

A realization dawned on him. He could use them to grow stronger and evolve his army.

In Forsaken Land they were extrely rare, but here he could get as many as he want. With power and influence of course.
