He groaned in pain as the creature dug its nails into his flesh.

Blackbeard threw a rock at the barrier around them. The mont it made contact with it, a bright spark disintegrated the projectile in an instant.

Leo pushed the undead's arm away and massaged the sore spot while looking at the barely visible wall. If he was stopped just monts later, he would take its place.
But why would there be sothing like that on an empty island, it didn't seem to be a trap as The Apex continued walking without paying too much attention to it.

anwhile, on the other side of the island, the forest was engulfed in flas, the temperatures were far too high for the slis to withstand as the weaker ones popped one by one.

The red girl controlled her dozen of slis from a tall tree, where the temperature wasn't as high.

Their plan was simple, getting The Fearmonger as close to the water as possible without fighting at all.
'We don't have enough manpower to cut its way off... if only I had more slots.'

In an instant, the amount of slis almost doubled as he poured them to overpower the new General.
Due to the heat, they weren't able to get a good look at him just yet, but its terrifying screams turned Sapphire into a crying ss.
"Sapphire, help us control them!"
Ruby shouted at her sister for not supporting them, the sheer amount of different actions she had to control at once due to the sudden increase in Summoner Slots left her ssing up slowly but surely.

Another wave of heat knocked the red sli over to the ground. A tree that she used as support fell onto her and incapacitated her.
Her part of the summons was instantly taken over by Gloppy who was already busy controlling part of them before.
Slimy veins started popping up on his forehead as he was waving his hands around with grace. To the 3 inexperienced girls, he looked like an opera conductor of the highest level.
But in reality the ragged terrain and having to keep up with the heat resistance of the slis being close to none, he was slowly losing ground.
"Sapphire! Get it together or he will run amock again!"
The Overlord snapped at her, the potions seed endless but there was sothing far worse than Mana at the mont.
Because of the humanoid slis having limbs, controlling them takes way more focus and he for sure won't be able to use all 80 by himself.
So he needed to use the three gems' assistance before they popped from the heat themselves, and right now only one of them was helping.
"But... But I..."
Slowly the forest succumbed to the flas. The trees continued to fall one by one and the heat didn't stop for a mont, getting stronger with ti instead.
Ruby groaned in pain as she was on the verge of popping, trying to hide just how hard it was on her.
"Saphhire!"
She called out, unable to say anything else. Sapphire ran off with tears in her eyes, shocking all of them there. The Fearmonger used that mont to his advantage as he struck Erald, instantly turning her into a puddle of ooze.
Now Gloppy had to control all 80 by himself, which surprisingly didn't feel as hard as he thought.
'I just need to push him into the water... just that.'
He could feel his arms slowly turning into nothing but a ss, his staff fell to the ground as there was less and less of him.
In the distance, a terrifying creature, the scarecrow walked towards him. The bats that hung on it before now rged and worked as its organs, which were fully exposed.
The hellfire it emitted turned the terrain under its feet into a charred wasteland. Its face tore apart to have an opening that imitated the mouth.
".... Pain... Help"
Even though it spoke, the mouth didn't move an inch, being fully open the entire ti as the raspy stuttering voice ca out.
A big ball of fla started to form in the middle of the creature as it scread in agony once again.
Gloppy was far too weak to summon more slis, as his last ones popped right in front of him.

A small ball of water flew its way, evaporating before it could even reach it.
Then the small ball turned into an enormous stream like a water hose the size of a human was pointed at it.
"I won't let you hurt them!"
Sapphire shouted as she commanded a row of slis to put out the fire.
