"Big brother! Congratulations on becoming a dad!"
Thomas Fisher’s tongue was already a bit thick from drinking, making his words slur as he held a glass of wine and staggered over to Easton Hols.
Easton Hols just quietly watched Thomas Fisher walking toward him without responding or getting up to greet him.
"Big brother! Let’s have a drink."
After walking over, Thomas Fisher sat down in the empty seat beside Easton Hols, raised his glass to clink with Easton’s, and without waiting for a response, clinked glasses and drank his own.
After finishing his drink, Thomas Fisher wanted to pour more wine into his glass, but at this mont, Easton Hols responded by reaching out to take the wine from the table before Thomas could.
"Big brother! You can’t be this stingy, not even letting drink." He reached out to grab the wine that his big brother had taken away, but his hand ca up empty.
"Yes! Today I’m this stingy; no more drinking allowed." Although Easton Hols wasn’t sitting with Thomas and the others, it didn’t an he wasn’t paying attention to them. He noticed that Thomas had been drinking continuously from the start, barely eating anything.
All that was on Thomas Fisher’s mind now was drinking. Seeing Easton Hols stop him, he stood up with his glass in hand.
"If you won’t let drink, I’ll go find Ryan and Benjamin to drink with." He looked down at his big brother unhappily and staggered toward Ryan Taylor and Benjamin Shaw, who were sitting opposite.
"You’ve had too much to drink today, stop drinking." Easton Hols reached out and pulled Thomas Fisher back to his seat, preventing him, in his drunken stupor, from standing up again. He kept his hand on Thomas’s arm.
Even though Thomas Fisher heard nothing but the urge to drink, he kept struggling to shake off the hand gripping his clothes. But after several attempts, the hand still held tightly, "Big brother! Can you let go? I want to drink with Ryan and Benjamin."
As he spoke, he shook a few more tis, but the hand still tightly gripped his clothes.
"What’s the point of drinking so much? If drinking will bring her back, drink all you want, I promise there’s plenty." Easton Hols glared at Thomas Fisher. Seeing him dazed, he reached out and took the glass from Thomas’s hand.
Since Alice Turner disappeared without a word, Thomas Fisher had turned into a drunkard, drinking nonstop every day, and his family couldn’t persuade him.
After nurous failed attempts to persuade him, Autumn York, feeling helpless, called Easton and the other two to ask them to talk so sense into Thomas and stop him from drinking.
Easton and the others tried to persuade him, but only received temporary promises to stop drinking, as Thomas resud his drinking habits imdiately after. He’d truly turned into a full-fledged alcoholic.
Though Easton Hols didn’t explicitly ntion Alice Turner’s na just now, Thomas Fisher knew who his big brother was talking about and beca agitated, grabbing Easton’s clothes, "Big brother! Do you know where Alice went? Tell now, I want to find her."
At this point, his emotions were intensely stirred, and coupled with all the alcohol, he was on the brink of an emotional breakdown.
"Thomas Fisher! Can you sober up? Look at what you’ve beco." Seeing the ss Thomas had turned into, apart from anger, Easton Hols was filled with worry.
