I feel like I’ve heard of that organization before. In the novel, Leonor was supposed to beco one of their grand envoys.
However, that would happen much later in the story, sowhere around Chapters 300 to 500.
That was far too long for to wait.
"So far, no one knows where their headquarters is located or who their mbers are," Sera answered.
"That organization... is practically a myth among mage researchers."
Edmund fell silent for a mont, continuing to look through the files on the table, none of which had any connection whatsoever to the organization known as the Salvation Order.
The matter surrounding the Salvation Order was complicated and complex. There was still no confird information regarding their existence.
Thinking too much about it would only distract Edmund.
"Alright."
"I’m sure the Gaelion Magic Institute has its own plans. I won’t concern myself with them for now, at least not until I obtain relevant information," Edmund replied.
Edmund’s attention shifted toward Sebastian as he asked about the registration schedule for Livden Academy. Sebastian nodded and answered what Edmund needed to know.
"The news about Livden Academy’s new student registration has already spread. Registration will open in twenty days," Sebastian explained.
"Are Leonor’s docunts and her friends’ docunts ready?"
"Yes, Lord Edmund. Once the registration period begins, I’ll imdiately send the docunts to the academy committee," Sebastian replied.
Edmund nodded, fully entrusting the matter to Sebastian. His attention then shifted away from Sebastian and back to Sera.
There was sothing he needed to confirm, sothing related to the developnt of Leonor and her team, Party Diva.
"At the mont, Natalie and the others are accompanying Party Diva to hunt goblins in the western forest region," Sera answered.
"Goblins?"
"Yes," Sera replied, "I think after completing several guild missions, their abilities and teamwork have improved significantly. They need to start fighting stronger monsters."
I rarely check Leonor’s status these days. I should take a look later after eting her.
Could she possibly reach level 10 after killing those goblins?
"Are you going there to help them as well?" Sera asked, narrowing her eyes.
"I want to observe the battle. But while I was sick, these papers kept piling up."
"My body hasn’t fully recovered yet either."
"You should go there instead, Sera," Edmund requested.
Sera let out a soft sigh, then nodded and stood up. Roots spread from the ground through her hand, forming her magic staff. Edmund and Sebastian watched the sight quietly.
"Alright. If there’s nothing else you want to ask, I’ll be leaving," Sera said before excusing herself.
She turned around and gracefully walked out of Edmund’s office, leaving the two n behind.
"Sigh!"
Sebastian turned his head when Edmund let out a sigh, "Do you need my help?"
"No need. These docunts are important and require my decision."
The man raised his head and read the paper in his hand once more, his eyes fixed on the writing coming from Nostra City.
"You should head there, Sebastian," Edmund said.
"That won’t be necessary. Sera and the others are already there. I’m not really needed."
Sebastian rose from his seat. He explained that he would gather information regarding prospective students from other noble families.
Edmund smiled. He appreciated Sebastian’s initiative. If he could gather detailed information, it would certainly prove useful later.
"Thank you, Sebastian."
"It’s no problem, Lord Edmund."
Sebastian then left the office, leaving Edmund alone, surrounded by piles of docunts that still needed to be completed.
For Edmund, dealing with the paperwork was not particularly exhausting ntally or physically.
However, since his body had not fully recovered, the lingering pain made it difficult for him to focus.
Even so, as the leader of the city and ruler of the territory, Edmund still had to continue his work despite not being in perfect condition.
────[Second Rule System Mission]────
[Objective: Control commodity prices in the market]
[Public trust level: 90%]
[Reward: Skill Graceful Accord || 10 AUTH || 10 CHAR || 15 LUCK]
[Note: Public trust decreases by 1% per day if there is an increase in commodity prices]
Edmund was startled in shock while reading the docunt in his hand as the Rule System mission suddenly appeared.
Without any warning, the mission arrived and assigned Edmund a new task.
If the first mission required Edmund to solve the serial murder case, then his current task was to control commodity prices in the market.
Did sothing happen?
Edmund placed the docunt back on the table, then stood up and walked toward the back of the room.
His eyes stared straight through the glass wall, his expression filled with surprise.
The office door suddenly opened. Sebastian arrived after sprinting from the city’s main road.
A police official had inford him about what had happened, forcing Sebastian to imdiately report it to Edmund.
"Lord Edmund!" Sebastian called out upon arriving.
"What is that black smoke outside the city, Sebastian?"
"I received information that the wheat fields have caught fire in a massive blaze," Sebastian explained.
Ohh. So this is why the Rule System mission appeared.
"Has the ergency departnt been dispatched?" Edmund asked.
"The police officials have already inford them. They’re currently on their way to the fire site."
Edmund let out a sigh. If the fire truly ca from the wheat fields, then the prices of several commodities would surge, especially since bread was a staple food for the people of the Archie Territory.
He turned and looked at Sebastian seriously. Sebastian stood ready to receive orders.
"Go and gather detailed data on the size of the burned wheat fields. Coordinate with the city’s trade and finance departnts."
"Once the fire is extinguished, I want the Head of the Trade Departnt and the Head of the Finance Departnt to co et ."
"I understand, Lord Edmund."
Without another word, Sebastian imdiately left the Aschwin Mansion and headed toward the southern part of the city.
Fires were common, especially during the sumr season like now.
What Edmund needed to do was take preventive asures so the fire in the southern wheat fields would not turn into a disaster of famine and food shortages.
If public trust drops by 1% every day, then I only have a maximum of ninety days to calm this chaos.
But I can’t allow public trust to reach 0%. Recovering from that would be extrely difficult.
"Forty days... at most."
"Damn it!"
"Can I really maintain stable food commodity prices for forty days?"
