"An upgrade of bloodline?!" Fengyu looked shocked at the text in front of him.
As said, for beasts, their bloodline is similar to humans’ spiritual roots.
Humans with low roots can achieve great things, and beasts can continuously push their bloodline –
But compared to humans, the difficulty of bloodline advancent is a lot higher!
"Just by raising a few ducks to maturity, I can fully advance his bloodline?!" he was still shocked, how was this possible?
Just then, he heard a loud quack.
The little female duck from before ca again, quacking at him in complaint.
[Spiritual Duck, use Beast Origin Essence Core to upgrade Bloodline to low-grade first stage? 1/1]
"This..." Fengyu looked confused. How co the required core was the sa?
But looking at the ducks in the distance, he saw a different vision –
5, 11, 27, 87...
Each of them, one after another, had different requirents of cores.
So had extrely low levels of bloodline while others could be advanced rather quickly.
Fengyu realised this was another hidden function of the panel. Simply by looking at the requirents for cores to upgrade the bloodline, he could see the bloodline concentration of other beasts.
Then he beca confused again... wasn’t the young female spiritual beast in front of him already at the low-grade first stage?
He looked at the text and saw that it didn’t change, looking exactly like that of the others.
"Could it be that its bloodline hasn’t actually advanced further but is only at the edge of advancent?
And because of my effort, I was able to allow it to reach the stage ahead of ti!
Now, by refining spiritual power, breaking through the bloodline limit should be a lot easier!
Using the core on it would be a waste."
Looking over to Zimu, he could guess that his bloodline was quite highly concentrated.
But he was curious about what would happen if he used the core.
Would it be like a natural advancent – where the bloodline would be pushed further, reaching into different sections of the ancestry, resulting in a new bloodline depth afterward... or would it be a simple push, only adding a single point and not more?
If it was the forr, then the result would be extrely great! It would add a gambling factor, with the lowest win being a minimal bloodline concentration in the next stage, and the largest win being that the bloodline concentration directly crosses several minor stages or even a major stage!
On the other hand, if it was the latter... then the core shouldn’t be used on breakthroughs but rather to reach the edge of the current limit.
For example, if the bloodline was in the lower ranges of the low-grade, then push it to the limit of the low-grade and use other ans to allow the beast to break through.
He was curious but couldn’t exactly define it, nor did he really know which one would be better.
After all, while the forr seed great... the reality is that natural advancents are dangerous.
If the core only pushed for an advancent and didn’t protect the beast, then the beast might actually die.
In that case, it wouldn’t even co to the gamble.
Rather, the latter would be better – gradually reach the limit and prepare various things, allowing the beast to advance naturally when it feels best.
Of course... the best way would be to have both!
He looked at Zimu and shook his head. Zimu shouldn’t be experinted on.
Instead, looking at the loudly quacking young duck in front of him...
"Hey, co here and let try sothing." He said, reaching out to the duck.
The duck looked at him, confused, but didn’t resist, waiting for the result.
Fengyu smiled at that and willed the core in the depths of his being –
It rotated around itself several tis before finally flying over, leaving his body.
A small star-like object appeared in the air.
It flew right to the beast, entering its body freely like an illusory object.
"Quack!" the duck suddenly quacked when it felt a huge force entering its body!
Fengyu patted it gently, trying to calm it down.
The core inside the duck entered the heart, reaching deep within before stopping.
Spiritual power gathered from all around, and the core slowly disintegrated.
A huge surge of vitality entered the duck’s heart –
Thumb-thumb-thumb
Thumb-thumb
Thumb
The duck’s heart began beating rapidly as if it was about to burst out of its chest.
Spiritual power entered the body, gradually forcing a change in the duck’s body.
The light left from the dissipated core flew all over the duck’s body – feet, chest, bill, eyes, head...
With each breath, spiritual power was released all over, vitality gushing like a spring.
"Quack!" as the heartbeat slowly lessened, the duck quacked at Fengyu, looking at him confused.
But just as he was about to inspect it, he suddenly saw sothing else!
The duck’s feathers ruffled in the stagnant air, a white light flowing between them, colouring the tips slightly silver.

Fengyu’s eyes opened wide –
In an instant, a stream of mories fell into his mind!
Confusion spread on his face.
"Arghh," touching his forehead, he felt a slight headache.
His hand reached forward as he uttered a few words, following a certain motion – "Silver Feather Spell, Shoot!"
In the air, a silver feather ford from spiritual power, shooting forward like a dart.
It instantly pierced several trees in front of Fengyu, barely exhausting its power after reaching over a hundred tres!
"This, this!" Fengyu looked shocked at the spell.
The duck that had jumped off looked at this and followed.
It raised a wing, flapping it forward – a single feather flew out, flying ahead.
But it only reached thirty tres before stopping.
