The intern's eyes widened as he suddenly felt unbearable pain on his neck. The light in his eyes slowly drained away before fading into nothingness. He was utterly and completely dead.
The stray killer dog had made it to the scene. And it ca in with a bang, biting a traitorous intern's neck off!.
Muku had long noticed it, that's why he had told the girls to quickly get into the room. He knew if he had told them about it they likely wouldn't have done it, not wanting to leave him behind in such a dangerous situation.
When the dog was still busy savouring the taste of the intern's blood. Muku quickly rolled to his axe that was a few feet away. He quickly grabbed it and aid at the killer dog's head that was still dug deep into the intern's neck.
The dumb dog which had not t any resistance from these two legged foods, did not see the attack coming. It expected the other one to run away while it ate the one it had killed then hunt the one that ran later. But unluckily for it, there's a supre and undisputable law in the world when it cos to most things. Nothing is absolute, there's always an exception. And it had t that exception.
Well technically, since it was dead before it could even realise what was going on, it didn't know that it had t the exception.
[Two kills left....]
A familiar voice rang in Muku's head, of course it was followed by the familiar numbness.
"Huff, that was certainly too close for comfort". Muku said while pulling his axe out of the dog's skull.
"Ahh!". He suddenly scread while grabbing the back of his head and looking behind him.
"Don't play hero again, what if it went after your neck instead?!". Jade, who was also the one who had slapped him on the back of the head said with a serous expression on her face. Without waiting for him to respond, she walked back into the principal's office and continued to look for the key in silence.
The girls had figured out what had happened and why he scread at them after they saw the dog.
"You've really pissed her off this ti, and honestly even I'm disappointed". Emily said before walking back into the room.
Layla just narrowed her eyes at him before also walking back. Chloe looked at him then at the girls, repeated it one more ti before also walking back in.
{Well, seems these kids now see more as their friend than their teacher. But I still see my four little students, so of course I would try my best to keep them out of danger. This might be a problem. But at least they care, even that troubleso Jade}. Muku thought with a scrunched expression on his face, before proceeding into the room.
"I'm sorry for keeping you all out of the loop, I won't do it again, so please forgive ". Muku said with a serious expression while bowing at a 90° angle in the direction of the girls.
The girls were first suprised but then smiled in acknowledgent. Jade of course made a "Hmph" sound and looked away, but a little smile could be seen on her face.
"Apology accepted, but I have to say, you're looking more and more like a serial killer, sacrificing that guy so easily like that". Jade who never lets go of an opportunity to make fun of him spoke.
Muku's expression darkens a bit before speaking.
"He was clearly trying to kill , hell he had already killed the principal. Besides, it's not like I'm the one who killed him or ordered the killer dog to do it. By killing it can be said that I even avenged him.". The more he spoke, the more it seed like he was trying to convince himself more than the girls.
"And where do you get off making such accusations, look at you and Layla tried to toss the principal's body out the window!". After taking a look at what Jade and Layla were doing, he couldn't help but speak up again.
"This is necessary okay, do you want us stay in a room with a corpse?. Or put him in the restroom we will need?. In fact I suggest getting rid of the bodies in the hallway too". Jade replied with a face red from embarrassnt though what she said made sense.
Layla only coughed a bit but didn't say anything, before continuing her task. But of anyone focused on her face, the would notice a faint blush, likely also from embarrassnt.
"Whatever, but it's still weird how calm you are about it". Muku not accepting defeat added, while joining in the search for the key. The damned principal had at least fifty drawers around his office, so of them even locked.
"Tsk, if you are not going to say anything helpful, then shut up. Besides, after all that has happened today, what could be scary about a dead body?." Jade said as they finished up tossing away the poor principal's body, which was likely going to be eaten up as soon as it reached the ground. She and Layla, accompanied by Chloe this ti went for the dog's body next, luckily the window was big enough for it to be tossed out too.
"You get the guy you got kille... I an you avenged". Jade said after they finished tossing out the dog.
"I'm your teacher!, how dare you tell what to do, besides I'm looking for...". As Muku raged, he was interrupted by a cry from Emily.
"Found it!". Emily excitedly started jumping up and down with the storage room's key in her hand.
"Tsk". Muku wasn't too happy about it though, since he now had no reason to not toss the body out. And so he accepted his fate unwillingly under Jade's smug smile and did it.
Luckily the janitor's bucket and mop happened to be in the principal's rest room (yeah well, my novel, my conveniences). While the girls were busy in the storage room he was mopping up the blood on the floor.
"How did I, this handso and smart teacher fall so low?. Even my students are oldering around now.". He lanted while cleaning.
...
On floor one...
Bang!
BANG!
Bang!
Three bodies fell from the sky outside, two human, one dog. If the killer dogs had even a little thinking capacity they would have found the occurrence rather weird.
But sadly all their brains knew was eating and why would they turn away from a free al?. And so a race to the food among them comnced. There at least thirty dogs on the floor while there were only three bodies, so the intensity of the competition can be easily imagined. In less than two minutes, all that was left of the bodies were blood stains on the ground
