I tried to move to the side, my wings flaring open as I attempted to dodge the incoming strike. But before I could fully react—

It burned like fire, and when I turned my head— I saw a gaping hole in it! A massive hole! It was practically destroyed!
And through that hole, through the haze of pain— I could see him.
The human.
He was looking down at , silent and steady, as if he had already decided the outco of this battle.

My chest twisted in anger. That look— that arrogant, condescending look! Humans were supposed to be weaker than us! How dare he give that expression!

The hole in my left wing began to close on its own, the flesh slowly knitting together. Demons possess high regeneration, so this much should’ve healed fast—
But the human’s mana was still lingering inside the wound, interfering with it. The process was much slower than it should have been.

A wide grin crept across my lips. Satisfaction blood deep in my chest. Watching him suffer— watching that arrogant human get hurt— it filled with joy I hadn’t felt in a long ti.
’I want to break him more... maybe catch him alive, toy with him until he screams and begs to stop...’
The thought itself was intoxicating.
But I shook it off for now. There were better ways to end this quickly.

I spread my arms wide, gathering all my mana and demonic energy until the air trembled around . Then I opened my mouth—

I thought, grinning before pointing a finger at him.

He obeyed instantly. His wings flapped once, and he hovered closer— until he was just an inch away.

Without hesitation, I stabbed his stomach with my right claws!

He didn’t even flinch. Blood dripped from the wound, but his face remained still.
"Now I can be sure you’re really under my spell."

I pulled my hand out, blood dripping from my claws.

A smile crept across my lips as I reached forward, placing both hands on his face.
"Hmm, you’re really handso for a human... but I feel repulsive to you, I wonder why...? What a weird thing you are."
I caressed his cheeks slowly, my claws slicing small lines into his skin, watching the blood run down his face.
My sadistic urge to destroy him kept building inside .
I aid my claws at his neck, savoring the tension, my expression twisting into sothing cruel.
My blood boiled in delight. Just rembering how he looked down on earlier— it made want to tear him apart.
"I wonder what it feels like having your neck severed. Aren’t you curious?"
I asked with a playful, teasing tone.
Not that I will do it now, because I still plan to have fun with this human for a while before ending his life.
But then—
"Not really. Why don’t you find out yourself?"
I froze.

That voice—
He replied!
My eyes widened in horror!
He wasn’t supposed to speak! He wasn’t supposed to move!
I tensed, ready to strike, my claws re inches from his throat—
But before I could plunge it in—

The human moved faster than I could see.
His sword cut through the air, leaving behind trails of lightning and wind.
"Huh?"
I blinked.
Then I felt it— a cold, sharp pain along my neck. It was followed by a radiating pain that shocked my whole body.
Everything slowed... Then—
My vision blurred, darkened, and the world started spinning as if I was falling...
"So, what does it feel like?"
Then, I heard the human’s voice asking that, his tone quiet, almost bored.
And that was the last thing I heard before everything went black.

I lost consciousness after that.
