Heroes gathering for action. Villains lurking beneath the surface. The League of Villains still refining their plans.
The second high-ranking Japanese official was found dead. By the ti his body was discovered, he had already been dead for three hours—his throat slit in his own office. Just like before, evidence of his cris and the League of Villains' mark were left at the scene.
By the ti heroes and police arrived to secure the area, the killer was long gone.
The news spread quickly. The people of Japan were happy to sit back and watch the drama unfold. To them, a corrupt official getting what he deserved was a good thing.
But inside the governnt, the pressure was mounting.
No one in power was completely clean. They had all been involved in shady deals one way or another.
Before, they had sat comfortably above everyone else, enjoying their status. But now, with the League of Villains targeting governnt officials, they were starting to panic.
They began pushing All Might to capture the League of Villains as soon as possible.
At the sa ti, they also started reaching out to criminal groups, trying to rally forces. They couldn't afford to let the League of Villains keep going unchecked—because if this continued, one of them could be next.
anwhile, within the League of Villains, the one who had just returned from completing the mission was Toga Himiko.
She had disguised herself as a governnt worker, snuck in, completed the assassination quietly, and then left without a trace.
After all, this was a mission given to her by Midoriya Izuku himself...
Of course, she had to do it perfectly!
Toga Himiko happily returned to the League of Villains, eager to take credit for her work—
But when she looked around for Midoriya Izuku, he was nowhere to be seen.
Her excitent instantly deflated.
"Where's Midoriya-kun?! I did such an amazing job on my mission—I have to see him!!"
"He needs to tell I did great!"
Toga Himiko pouted and whined, but the others in the League of Villains were used to it and ignored her.
Shinso Hitoshi, however, was kind enough to give her an answer.
"Midoriya went out. He had sothing to take care of."
"Huh?! Midoriya-kun left?"
Toga Himiko was surprised.
Ever since Midoriya Izuku was rescued from prison, he had stayed within the League of Villains' hideout.
But now, he had finally gone out?
Where was he headed?
U.A. High School.
Even though the League of Villains was causing chaos everywhere, life for the students hadn't changed too much... well, almost.
All Might hadn't been to school in a long ti.
Even though he was a teacher at U.A., his duties as a hero hadn't lessened. He was completely tied up dealing with the League of Villains.
Classes were still being covered by other teachers, but the atmosphere had changed. Many students were feeling the pressure—especially those in Class 1-A.
"Midoriya-kun... what is he doing now?"
Takeyama Urei rested her face on her desk, feeling completely unmotivated.
It wasn't just because Midoriya Izuku had beco a villain and joined the League of Villains.
Lately, her older sister, the pro hero Mount Lady, seed to be getting close to her partner, Kamui Woods.
Now, whenever she had free ti, she would show off her boyfriend in front of Urei.
And honestly... it was really, really annoying!
"Takeyama, Takeyama."
"Hmm?"
Tilting her head to the side, Takeyama Urei saw Uraraka Ochako waving her hand like a cat, as if calling her over.
"What's up, Uraraka?"
It was break ti, so Takeyama Urei simply stood up and walked over to see what Ochako wanted.
"This afternoon, let's go to the Support Departnt. Hatsu i seems to need us for sothing."
"That woman? She's not up to sothing crazy again, is she?"
Takeyama Urei imdiately beca alert. She still rembered the last ti she and Ochako visited the Support Departnt—class rep Iida ended up being a test subject for one of Hatsu's experints. If she and Uraraka hadn't run fast enough, they would've been caught too.
"It won't be like that. She said it's sothing important."
"Alright... I'll trust you this ti."
...
Ti passed quickly, and by the ti school was over in the afternoon, Takeyama Urei and Ochako were already on their way to the Support Departnt building. What exactly did Hatsu i want this ti?
"You guys are here!"
Inside the workshop, Hatsu i greeted them cheerfully, her face still smudged with grease, a tool in her hand as always.
"Hatsu i, what do you need from us?"
Takeyama Urei asked right away, staying on guard. If this crazy woman asked them to help with so weird experint, she'd turn around and leave imdiately.
"Actually, I do need your help with sothing."
"Uraraka, run!!"
The mont Hatsu i spoke, Takeyama Urei grabbed Ochako and bolted. If they were even a second too slow, they'd end up as her test subjects.
"It's about Midoriya-chan~~"
"..."
Takeyama Urei stopped dead in her tracks, then turned back like nothing had happened.
"Hatsu i... if this is about Midoriya, what do you need us to do?"
"Well... here's the thing."
Hatsu i began explaining. This was sothing she really couldn't handle on her own.
A few days ago, after Togata Mirio returned to U.A. High, he had a discussion with Principal Nezu. Midoriya Izuku and the "League of Villains" had beco a major threat. But what was even more troubling was that Shinso Hitoshi had turned his back on the heroes and joined the villains. This forced the principal and the teachers to take a hard look at problems within the school.
Anyone who had close contact with Midoriya—or had a good relationship with him—beca a key surveillance target. Besides the students in Class A, Hatsu i was one of the people under the heaviest watch.
At first, it didn't really affect her. She spent most of her ti in the workshop, working on inventions. But then, sothing changed.
The school started inspecting all of Midoriya's creations—his equipnt, tools, and gadgets. During the battle at the skyscraper, almost all the heroes had been neutralized, losing their ability to fight. That incident made them realize how dangerous Midoriya's technology was. If the sa kind of attack happened again at the start of a fight, they wouldn't even have a chance.
Now, the school had gathered and analyzed most of what Midoriya had left behind in the Support Departnt. But there was still one thing they hadn't found—sothing terrifying that Midoriya had given to Hatsu i.
Hatsu i knew just how dangerous that thing was. When the school started their search, she didn't turn it in. She had planned to keep it safe. But now... it seed like the secret was about to be exposed.
Every invention made in the Support Departnt had an experintal record. At the ti, Midoriya Izuku had only been a Support Course student, so he hadn't been able to hide things completely. Now, during the inventory check, the teachers realized there was still one missing item. And based on their analysis, it was most likely still sowhere on campus.
The search intensified, and Hatsu i had already been questioned three tis. Each ti, she played dumb and acted innocent, and the teachers didn't press too hard. After all, they weren't going to treat a student like a criminal.
But sensing that things were getting out of hand, Hatsu i had no choice but to seek help from two people she trusted.
"So, find a way to hide this thing in your dorms. Otherwise, I might not be able to keep it secret much longer."
"Uh..."
Takeyama Urei and Ochako felt a mix of fear and awkwardness. Having sothing this dangerous in their dorm? They weren't sure they'd be able to sleep peacefully at night.
