At the age of five, Midoriya Izuku understood his dream. He wanted to be soone who brings smiles to others and helps people!
So, even without a "quirk," Midoriya Izuku still wanted to beco a hero.
A "quirk" is just a special ability that so people have. Since he didn't have a "quirk," he would find a suitable way to make up for it.
Midoriya Izuku thought about it and began his journey to beco a hero.
At just five years old, little Midoriya started taking action. He carefully recorded all the heroes' fighting styles and analyzed which hero would be best suited for soone without a "Quirk."
Following his mom Midoriya Inko's advice, he studied hard at school and spent his free ti running to the library to gain more knowledge. His mom told him that if he wanted to beco a hero without relying on a "Quirk," he needed to know more than others.
In his spare ti, he also trained his body because All Might once said, "A hero needs to have a strong body!"
Whenever he saw a professional hero on the street, little Midoriya would shalessly go up to them and ask about their fighting thods and experiences with enemies. He recorded all this detailed information, believing it would help him.

Speaking of Bakugo Katsuki, it's impossible for Midoriya not to dislike him. Since childhood, Bakugo was a bully with a strong "Quirk," and anyone who went against him would get beaten up. Everyone who knew Bakugo was afraid of him!

Bakugo's mocking words made the other classmates laugh secretly. A "Quirkless" like Midoriya Izuku was indeed as rare as a giant panda!

Bakugo's words made Midoriya's teeth itch, but he held back. He couldn't afford to provoke Bakugo, so he decided to avoid him!
Midoriya obediently lay on his desk, using a book to cover his face, showing an embarrassed look that made the classmates laugh even more.
In Japan, school ends very early, usually allowing students to participate in club activities. But Midoriya was a proud mber of the "going ho club." However, he wasn't going ho now; he was running towards the seaside park.
The seaside park in Midoriya's city had another na: the junkyard.
So people sneakily dump all kinds of unmanageable electronic waste at the seaside park. Over ti, it has beco a mountain of trash, mostly broken TVs, refrigerators, and old trucks.
Midoriya Izuku skillfully ran to the seaside park and walked straight into the depths of the trash pile. It was clear he ca here often.
Since the seaside park was a well-known dump, people occasionally ca to throw away garbage, but no one really wanted to get close. In this undisturbed place, Midoriya Izuku walked to a mountain of electronic waste.
Underneath the pile of electronic waste, there was a very hidden small door. The door was just big enough for soone of Midoriya's middle school size to pass through. There was a seemingly sturdy lock on it. Midoriya Izuku took a key from his pocket, unlocked the door, and slipped inside.
Midoriya skillfully found a spot and turned on a battery-powered light, revealing a hidden room about the size of a standard room. It was filled with all kinds of chanical instrunts, making it hard to understand what they were for.
Midoriya walked to a corner and turned on a communication device. A girl with pink hair appeared on the screen and greeted him imdiately!
"Hey, Midoriya, you're really late today. The baby you asked for is ready!!"
"Really, Hatsu i, thank you so much!!"
Midoriya Izuku was very grateful to the pink-haired girl nad Hatsu i. He had received a lot of help from her and felt useless thinking back on it.
Three years ago, when Midoriya was still in elentary school, he followed his mom's advice to learn more and train his body, hoping to beco a hero one day.
During his daily running exercises, his planned route took him through the seaside park, where he t Hatsu i.
At that ti, the girl was about his age, carrying big bags and tinkering with the electronic waste. Midoriya Izuku, who was running, stopped and was drawn to her.
Maybe because soone was watching, Hatsu i stopped her work, and they got to know each other.
Through their conversations, Midoriya learned that the girl was "treasure hunting" there. She didn't live in the city but had heard about the large electronic waste dump at the seaside park and ca to find parts she could use.
As they talked more, Midoriya Izuku learned that i Hatsu wanted to use the parts to make equipnt. Her dream was to make her "hero equipnt" famous worldwide!!
At that mont, Midoriya thought about "hero equipnt." Now, professional heroes wore equipnt to better use their "Quirks."
"Can I do that too?!"
Midoriya Izuku had this idea. He was "Quirkless," so he started behind others. But he could use various equipnt to help himself and wouldn't be worse than others.
So, Midoriya Izuku beca i Hatsu's student, learning how to make equipnt from her. Over ti, Midoriya realized that this girl was undoubtedly a genius, and he felt he couldn't match her talent for making equipnt.
But it was different! i Hatsu's dream was to make her equipnt famous worldwide, while Midoriya wanted to use the equipnt to beco a hero.
Creating all kinds of support equipnt and using them to train for battles, this is the effort Midoriya Izuku has been putting in!
At the seaside park, not only is there no one to disturb him, but it's also a treasure trove of materials. So, after long hours of hard work, Midoriya Izuku built a secret base there, filled with various equipnt he made over the years.
Whenever he didn't understand sothing, he would ask Hatsu i, learning more about how professional heroes fight, gaining experience and skills, and using the equipnt to imitate heroes.
Midoriya Izuku knew he wasn't a genius. His "quirk" wasn't as good as Bakugo's, and his talent wasn't as good as Hatsu i's. The only thing he could rely on was hard work!
He practiced thousands of tis. Sotis he made mistakes and ended up with a bloody head, and sotis the equipnt failed and left him covered in injuries. But Midoriya gritted his teeth and kept going.
Maybe their initial intentions were different, but his mom, Midoriya Inko, was right. The knowledge he learned made it easier for him to understand Hatsu i's teachings, and the physical training from a young age allowed him to endure the next step of harsh training.
At this point, Midoriya Izuku found his goal.
