“Damned woman, stop…”

“I’m going to kill you…”

“Ahhh, I feel awful! You should all die, die, die…”

The little boy’s voice howled behind the carriage, full of resentnt and nace.

Inside the carriage, Ning Shu ignored his curses, resting her chin and narrowing her eyes.

Beside her, Crossbow Lar’s face was full of grievance—so strong that Ning Shu couldn’t ignore it.

“What’s wrong?” Ning Shu asked.

“Nicole, you touched his hand,” Crossbow Lar said with his head down.

Ning Shu: “Oh!”

“You want to crush your hand bones too?” Ning Shu asked.

Crossbow Lar pressed his lips together tightly. “I don’t like it when Nicole touches others. Don’t use your hand—use your foot instead.”

Everyone: …

Use the foot? You’re even more violent than this brute of a woman!

“Damned woman, I can’t run anymore. Stop…”

“I feel awful. I’m going to die!” The little boy wailed, then fell to the ground behind the carriage. His face was covered with dirt and he looked at the carriage ahead while wailing loudly.

Ning Shu lifted the curtain. “Co on, co on, chase ! Catch and I’ll let you hehe… I’ll let you kill .”

Ning Shu lowered the curtain and said to the coachman, “Go faster. Ignore that person wailing over there.”

“Hyah!” The coachman whipped the reins, and the carriage got even bumpier.

Suddenly, a dagger pierced through the carriage wall, flying inside—it didn’t stop and headed straight for the coachman.

Ning Shu reacted fast, catching the dagger between her fingers, but its force was so strong it dragged her out of the carriage, and with a thump, she fell to the ground.

“Hahaha! Damned woman, serves you right!” The little boy pointed at Ning Shu and laughed darkly.

Ning Shu got up calmly, dusted herself off, and grabbed the dagger.

The dagger’s blade was thick and shiny, with intricate carvings near the hilt.

It was, in short, beautiful.

“Give it back,” the little boy said sinisterly, staring at Ning Shu.

“Sure.” Ning Shu flicked the dagger, then hurled it hard, straight at the boy’s head.

The little boy giggled and caught the dagger. “My own weapon won’t hurt .”

“Oh, so you’re a dagger, huh?” Ning Shu stared at the boy. “Don’t test my patience as entertainnt. If there’s a next ti, I’ll snap you in two and crush you to powder.”

Ning Shu clenched her fists—her knuckles popped loudly.

“Waahhh! Why, why…” The little boy sat on the ground and cried loudly.

Ning Shu ignored him, got back on the carriage, and said, “Let’s go.”

Traveling was exhausting, especially since they’d already been on the road for several days. They occasionally encountered a small town and would go wash up and restock supplies.

i Ziqing’s five weapons looked impatient, and the mood was tense.

It was easy to bump into moon beasts in the wild. To eat, they had to hunt on their own. In the past, these weapons had things brought to them—killing already half-dead moon beasts to feed.

Now that they had to hunt for themselves, it beca a bit exhausting.

Weapon wear and tear made them feel uncomfortable, like how humans felt after hard labor.

The body would inevitably feel so discomfort and be left with lingering issues.

So the five weapons all looked unhappy and had many complaints about i Ziqing, their wielder.

The other weapons urged Spear Ban to ask i Ziqing how much longer until they reached that place.

“How long until we reach that place?” Urged by the other weapons, Spear Ban asked i Ziqing with a displeased expression.
