As the white cat twisted around to jump up, it barely managed to dodge, yet the beast ramd its hindquarters. The creature turned to bite the beast’s body and then climbed onto its back, claws embedded in its flesh, biting its neck fiercely.
The beast low growled and ran forward a few steps before collapsing. Its body struggled, but the white cat held on tightly, refusing to let go.
Another beast charged, hitting the cat’s hind legs, and the cat’s snow-white fur was stained bright red.
Finally, it released its grip, jumping backwards in a clumsy manner, raising its head and whimpering fiercely at the Hunting Beast.
Chen Yan noticed that the white cat’s hind legs were trembling slightly.
The last Hunting Beast seed finally afraid to challenge the cat alone, roaring angrily twice before retreating, then turning and rushing into the forest.
In the forest, the burning Hunting Beasts were nowhere to be seen. Two lay under trees, while the others had disappeared sowhere into the woods.
Standing on the rock, Chen Yan saw the white cat crawling forward, using its paw to nudge the beast it had killed, but its hind legs were blood-soaked, making its previously agile body appear more limping.
Yet, it turned around, slowly crawling toward Chen Yan, reaching the rock base where it sat down, lowered its head to lick its hind leg.
It was then Chen Yan realized sothing was wrong.
The blood on the white cat’s body was increasing!
Looking closely, he saw the cat’s injuries were not just on the hind leg where it had been ramd.
A large patch of red covered the soft fur on its abdon!
It couldn’t stand up, only lowering its head to lick its wounds, the hind leg wound, the abdon wound, yet the more it licked, the more blood flowed.
Chen Yan fixed his gaze on its abdominal wound, suddenly realizing that earlier it had jumped from his head down, knocking a Hunting Beast off the rock...
