Ji Ziming’s cold eyes darkened as he looked at Pei Ge. He then spoke in a neutral tone. “When do you want to speak till?”
“You must trust on this one; let decide until when Qu Jingwan should stay here and when she should leave. It’s who convinced you to let her stay with us, so let make the decision now.”
Pei Ge sat up straight as she observed him.
“Fine, I’ll let her stay here for the ti being. You’re the only magnanimous woman toward her rival in love I’ve ever seen; have you never spared a thought for ?”
The man inched closer as his hand gripped her chin. He looked at her with his terrifyingly dark eyes.
“What’s wrong with you?”
Uneasiness rose in her heart, for the current him was not his usual self who doted on her.
“You’re my woman, but you have to put up with another one living in our house. What else do you think I can do? What else can I do?”
Seeing her watery eyes, he ultimately let go of her chin. He leaned on the sofa as defeat overwheld him. His dark eyes remained on Pei Ge amidst this faint floral fragrance in the room.
The woman simply sat there elegantly. He could just not understand why she would insist on letting Qu Jingwan stay in the family. He did not know if she was doing this for the good of their son or the secrets in her heart.
On the plane earlier, his laptop had no reception. However, as a skilled hacker, Bi Zheng was always able to send him emails. Before entering the room with his woman, he had seen parts of the email, but since he did not want her to be suspicious, he could only comfort her first.
He waited until midnight and could no longer remain calm once he saw the content of the email.
In fact, he had always been very composed, but at this mont, when he saw his woman being so unbending regarding Qu Jingwan, he could not keep his calmness anymore.

She woke up early the next day and prepared breakfast for everyone. Just as she was serving breakfast at the dining table, Qu Jingwan ca down in her pink pajamas.
“Oh, I was wondering who you were. I thought at first that you’re Auntie Zhang and wondered why her taste had beco so bad to wear sothing so inelegant.”
Qu Jingwan’s orange wavy curls swayed with her movent, making her look charismatic.
Pei Ge remained silent and rely listened to the other’s criticism regarding her choice of dress.
She woke up early today, so she simply wore a sleeveless vest that Zhang Manhua had bought for her. There were red and green floral prints on it, and even though it was very popular overseas, it was not yet fashionable in China.
Precisely because of that, so people thought of this as fashion, while others like Qu Jingwan made fun of it.
“CEO’s wife, since you’re back, should I leave?”
The lady walked coquettishly and laughed before continuing. “Oh, right. I almost forgot that we used to live here together. Since Madam Ji didn’t return ho with you guys, I’m not sure if I’ll be kicked out of the house by you, the official CEO’s wife.”
Her eyes rippled as she seamlessly spoke of her situation and put invisible pressure on Pei Ge.
Even if her relationship with the man’s parents had improved, it was still not the right ti for her to chase this lady out. This was why she could not promise Ji Ziming.
He ant well but she had to place the interest of the rest above herself.
“Are you sober now?”
Pei Ge sounded cold as she looked at the lady who was showing her skin.
She had never seen the latter dressed like this or, at least, had not dressed like this in front of the man’s mother. She always dressed conservatively when the older woman was around.
“Hmph!”
Qu Jingwan snorted and looked at the staircase to make sure that the man had not woken up yet. She walked up to the other and spoke in volu which only the both of them could hear. “What if I tell you that your man slept in my room last night? What would you do?”
She was rely saying this because she heard the couple arguing in the living room before falling asleep last night, but despite being uncertain, the mont she saw the expression on this woman’s face, she knew that her gamble had paid off.
A look of hurt flashed across the other’s eyes, and it was captured by her clearly.
“What, don’t believe it? You can go and ask him if it’s comfortable sleeping in my bed last night.”
She was certain that this woman would not ask the man this sort of question. She had been searching for a chance, and it seed that today was when she replaced this woman.
Her eyes turned ruthless suddenly and her red lips curled as she stared straight at Pei Ge. This was when Ji Ziming’s cold voice sounded from behind.
“What are you all doing?”
Pei Ge snapped back to reality and quickly placed the utensils on the table. She shot a glance at the man, who was in his silk pajamas, before heading back to the kitchen and helping Auntie Zhang to serve food.
Seeing him walking over, Qu Jingwan postponed her plan to bully the other as she needed ti to widen the gap between this couple.
The atmosphere while eating breakfast was exceptionally silent. Qu Jingwan and Ji Ziming had to go to the company to work after having breakfast. The lady left less than ten minutes after breakfast, whereas as the company’s CEO naturally left later.
