Third POV—

The spider was using all its force to squash his prey to death. It had been a long ti that he found sothing to eat. Confidence was sothing it never lacked and now, that the prey has taken the initiative to run. It was completely sure that it could easily capture it.

Sharon dodged one of the countless leg attacks of the spider. Her speed was easily matched by the spider with distance. It was really making her frustrated.

Seeing her distracted, the spider tried attacking her from the left side, only for her to barely doge by jumping to the right side.

Sharon created a fire ball and threw it towards him. She thought that her attack might do so damage to it, but it just hit it away.

Clenching her jaw, she threw so lightening snakes but their fate was sa as the fireball.

Thinking that its legs are acting as blades, she tried to attack its main body. She made a big wind cutter and threw it towards the spider’s body.

The spider narrowed its eight eyes and used his four legs to block it. As the spider successfully blocked the attack, it roared loudly and increased his attacking frequency.

The search for clues had brought Diana to nowhere. It was a bit frustrating for her as this posed a serious threat to not only her skills but also, her affection. The person she liked was still missing. And what was she doing?

Nothing, zero, absolutely null.

Her search was aningless and her efforts amounted to nothing.

"What should we do?" asked Marquis Hamilton.

Vederon sighed deeply. The palace was in the state of unrest. Thankfully, the capital still didn’t know that their emperor was missing.

"That’s why we have called you all here. We want to take your insight on this matter," said Leon.

Diana rubbed her forehead. She was feeling pathetic. With a self-reproving tone, she said, "I haven’t found a single lead! The only lead in my hands is the store. The store owned by your daughter."

Her intention was not to suspect Pristine. Although, her words implied that she was blaming Pristine for Sharon’s disappearance. If Her Majesty hadn’t gone to that store, she would have been here, right among them.

Duke Rinkshel sneered loudly. He had a look which clearly stated that if he wasn’t answered properly, he might lose his control. "What do you an Diana Astitute? Are you trying to say that my daughter is sohow involved in this matter?" His voice was dangerously low.

Leon thought it better for him to answer this question. Before Diana could open her mouth, he grabbed her hand to abstain her from answering Duke Rinkshel.

Shaking his head, Leon said, "Duke, I am afraid my sister misspoke. It wasn’t her intention to accuse your daughter. Ducal Princess Pristine is not our suspect. We don’t doubt her. Please don’t take these words to your heart."

Duke Rinkshel nodded begrudgingly.

Count Varilon raised her hands and said, "We should discuss without having any conflicts among us. You should maintain the decorum of this eting. The more ti we waste, the more Her Majesty’s situation worsens. Understood?"

Everyone nodded collectively. Duke Rinkshel said, "I am sorry about this."

Diana shook her head and said, "It’s fine. It was untacky for as well. I apologize, Your Grace."

Duke Rinkshel waved her off. For him, it was a minor issue.

"So, do you have any suspects?" asked Baron Xavwer.

Leon replied, "We have so suspects in mind, but we are not sure. Does Baron have anyone in mind?"

Baron Xavwer made a thinking pose. After so ti, he answered, "I suspect Duke Dimortyil." He was convinced that Kelshin was sohow involved in this.

Hearing Jake’s answer made everyone to think for a mont. They couldn’t deny that he might be involved in Sharon’s disappearance. But why?

Leon scratched his head. "It’s a possibility. But why? He is Her Majesty’s promised person. Sooner or later, he would marry her. If he did want power, why now? He could have done this much before."

Vederon lowered his gaze. It was a plausible possibility. Among the list of suspects, Duke Dimortyil was the one, he liked to keep at the top of his list of suspects. "I doubt him as well. But as Leon said... why now? The perfect ti was, when Her Majesty’s power had not solidified and her powers were limited. It would have been easy for him to usurp her from the throne."

"Maybe he was biding ti? We can’t say that he is a good man, right?" asked Diana.

"It’s not about that. Kelshin Dimortyil is soone, we can’t accuse without any solid proof. We know how much our public likes him. If we take any step without thinking, then it might be bad for Her Majesty’s image," said Duke Rinkshel.

These words made everyone silent. They knew Kelshin’s popularity among the commoners. If it wasn’t enough, nobles supported him as well.

"He has the support of the other factions. We don’t know... it might backfire on us," said Marquis Hamilton.

Baron Jake Xavwer comnted, "We can apply force."

Imdiately all of them shot down his idea. Even Count Varilon, who was known for her graceful behaviour, sneered at him.

"Baron Xavwer, please keep this idea to yourself. We don’t want to hear these ’inspiring’ ideas," said Leon.

Marquis Hamilton snorted, "Yeah, Jake! You should keep these idiotic thoughts!"

Baron Xavwer pouted in indignation. What? Couldn’t he suggest so of his thoughts? It was clear that they were jealous of his brilliant idea.

"Should we announce that Her Majesty’s missing?" suggested Count Varilon.

Leon quickly shook his head in denial. "It’s a bad idea. We will be just giving the rebels the opportunity that they are looking for quite a long ti?"

"Rebels? You an, the other factions, right?" asked Duke Rinkshel.

"Yes. I am pretty sure that they will try to use this opportunity to their advantage. It will just put Her Majesty in a difficult position," replied Leon.

Diana licked her lips and washed her gaze over everyone. She said, "I don’t know how much longer we can keep this, but it’s a matter-of-fact that... within a few days, everyone is gonna doubt."

Leon eyes trembled. He knew what would happen if people knew that their emperor was missing.

Pure Chaos. It would be pure chaos.

Suddenly, a thought entered his mind. "I have an idea," said Leon. He was unsure whether he should say this or not.

"What idea?" asked Diana.

Leon closed his eyes and said, "What if we show that Her Majesty is still here?"

"How is your searching going on?"

Aerila was reading a book. She was sitting on a comfortable sofa with her legs on another sofa. The maids had arranged her room according to her instructions. It was specifically for her to rest and recover.

Celle replied, "We are still trying to find clues, Your Majesty. For now, all I can say is... they were killed very precisely."

"So, she racked her brains? Impressive!" smirked Aerila.

Celle was shocked by her queen’s behaviour. She thought that her queen would tear the whole world to find Sharon Charatshore.

But why was her queen smirking?

"Your Majesty, aren’t you angry?" asked Celle, with a low voice.

Aerila nodded her head and snorted. "Of course, I am angry... very-very angry. But I am more interested about her now. I want to know if she will approach with a peace treaty, after I had imprisoned her and made her my maid."

Celle wanted to say sothing but ultimately kept quiet. Her queen was a little unorthodox. Sharon had almost killed her, yet all she wanted to know if her enemy would approach with a peace treaty or not.

Should she cry? Or, should she try to impart so wisdom into Her Majesty’s brain?

"How did she use the teleportation array? She needed permission."

Aerila’s face darkened. She hissed, "It’s because of ."

At first, Celle couldn’t understand her queen’s words but after a mont, it hit her.

With eyes widened and mouth parted in shock, Celle asked, "You marked her?! How could you?!"

Aerila shot her a glare. "Wasn’t it your idea? To humiliate Sharon by raping her?"

Celle’s pupils dilated. "No! I never gave you that idea!"

It was Aerila’s turn to be shocked. She knew that Celle wasn’t lying. Their bond of trust was very strong.

With a low voice, Aerila said, "You are not lying. Then, who was that? No, you did say that."

"NO! I DIDN’T! BELIEVE !!"

Aerila nodded grimly, "I know. You didn’t say that, yet you did. Did soone control you? No, it wasn’t control."

Celle asked, "Did the Charatshore control ?"

Shaking her head in denial, Aerila said, "No, she didn’t. You weren’t controlled by her. I am unsure what that was," she turned towards Celle, "I will find out. You don’t have to worry at all. I think... I know soone who can help ."
