"Josh Reyes, tell , what on earth are you doing? In the middle of the night, you, you... do you enjoy being a thief?"
Camila Ruiz was genuinely furious, so angry that she called Jimmy Horne by his real na, Josh Reyes.
It had been eighteen years since Jimmy Horne changed his na and returned to his roots, and this was the first ti she called him Josh Reyes.
This neighborhood was mostly villas, with good security, and those patrolling security guards were well-trained. If soone discovered him, would they beat him up and take him to the police station?
Besides, if he climbed like Spider-Man and accidentally slipped, it could be fatal.
Seeing her pretty face flushed with anger, Jimmy Horne embraced her tightly and said, "I missed you so much I couldn't sleep."
Camila Ruiz was even more infuriated hearing him say that.
Considering his skills, this was probably child's play for him. But if he missed her, he could have co to see her openly. Why sneak in like a thief?
"You jerk!"
After a while, Camila Ruiz could only utter those two words.
Instead of getting angry, Jimmy Horne laughed. He never considered himself a good person. Even if he tried, people wouldn't believe it, being the young master of the Aggressive Fla Group. How could he be a truly good person? Like his father, who he saw as an upright man, but in everyone's eyes, his dad was an out-and-out villain.
"Since we were young, you've always thought of as a jerk."
"Camila, it's already three in the morning, and you're still awake. Is sothing on your mind?" His voice carried the unique concern he had for her.
Nestled in his arms, Camila Ruiz retaliated by pinching his chest. He winced in pain but allowed her to do so.
"I'm having insomnia."
Camila Ruiz said with a hint of frustration.
This was the first ti in her 23 years that she had suffered from insomnia.
Insomnia was truly painful. Watching the night pass mont by mont without being able to sleep.
"What happened?"
Jimmy Horne imdiately asked anxiously while silently cursing himself for being so careless, spending a whole evening together without noticing she had sothing on her mind.
Camila Ruiz didn't answer.
Her silence made Jimmy Horne even more anxious. He even forgot his brewing desires, only worried about her.
"Camila, tell , what's wrong? Did sothing happen? Did soone bully you?" Jimmy probed.
Camila Ruiz looked up, giving him a slightly resentful glance, and said irritably, "Yes, soone bullied ."
"Who?" he asked with an air of murderous intent.
Who dared to bully his Camila, ready to announce their na if they wished for death!
"You!"
Him?
Jimmy Horne was dumbfounded. He cared for her too much to hurt her.
"I missed you too, so much that I couldn't sleep." After saying this, Camila Ruiz imdiately buried her face in his chest, her most tender confession.
In Jimmy Horne's ears, those words were the most beautiful and touching he had ever heard.
She missed him so much it caused her insomnia!
The days passed quickly, and half a month had gone by in a flash.
The relationship between Camila Ruiz and Jimmy Horne deepened even more. Both families were pleased with this outco. After testing the waters with both of them, they discovered that Camila Ruiz intended to get engaged first and then marry in a few years. Hansen Ruiz and Rachel Bailey thought it was great. Their daughter was their treasure, and they weren't willing for her to get married so soon. But Jimmy Horne was a good man, and they feared losing this fantastic son-in-law to soone else, which made them a bit conflicted.
Noah Reyes had no opinion. His son was grown up and specially trained. He knew what to do when it ca to engagent and marriage, letting his son make the decisions.
Adele Horne was a bit more anxious; she hoped the two would get married directly.
Anyway, the two families' elders had t together countless tis in private to discuss the two of them.
Mila Anderson had already begun looking for auspicious dates.
Noah Reyes's mother heard that her eldest grandson's real purpose in returning to Syrena was to pursue a granddaughter-in-law and joined in the fun, flying to Syrena on a private jet.
Charles Colson still loved Camila Ruiz as always. He hadn't let go of his feelings for her but had buried them deep down, no longer letting his love show.
However, the two young masters of the Ruiz Family heard that Jimmy Horne had returned and that their sister had given her heart to him, feeling a bit sorry for Charles Colson. But their sister's happiness was most important, so they ultimately didn't say much.
