Jimmy Horne held her hand and pulled her up, leading her towards the door.

Camila Ruiz wanted to appear braver, bolder, but the closer they got to the door, the more panicked she felt, afraid of Finn. She had just spoken ill of Finn, and the snake had actually thought of attacking her. Was this snake a spirit snake? Did it understand human speech or judge people’s praises and criticisms based on their expressions?

Feeling the slight trembling of the small hand in his palm, Jimmy turned his head and said with an amused tone, "Is Finn that frightening?" He had raised the little creature for many years and never found Finn to be scary. Perhaps it was because Jimmy had raised Finn, they had grown up together, and had developed a bond. That’s why Jimmy wasn’t scared.

When Finn was still an egg, Jimmy had picked him up and brought him ho to raise. From a little snake to the large one he was now, their bond had grown deep. Finn was like a brother to Jimmy. After nearly ten years of living together, Finn could tell from a person’s expression whether they were praising or criticizing him. Whatever Jimmy asked, he understood. Indeed, he had obtained a certain level of spirituality. This led the old n at the base to say Jimmy should beco a Beast Tar, and that he’d be a first-class one at that.

Nobody at the base liked Finn, but likewise, no one dared to even think of harming him.

It was by raising Finn that Jimmy had successfully forced those two old guys to bring Camila here to accompany him for the sumr vacation.

It was said that among the young masters dumped here for training, no one had ever managed to force those inhuman guys to bring outsiders here. He was the first.

"I’m most afraid of such soft, slippery, and cold things... animals," Camila Ruiz instinctively leaned closer to Jimmy Horne.

A faint smile passed through Jimmy’s deep eyes, very satisfied with her movent toward him seeking safety.

"With here, Finn won’t hurt you," Jimmy tightened his grip on her hand and pulled her out of the room. Camila wasn’t at all concerned about the firm grasp of her hand. All her attention was focused on Finn, fearing he would suddenly turn on her.

Upon leaving the room, Camila realized this place was no villa. All she saw were old rooms, except for the one she had just exited, which appeared new—no, that wasn’t quite right, it looked more like it had been newly refurbished. The rest were buildings from the late nineties with no connection to a villa whatsoever.

The furniture inside was also old, almost none of it new. More terrifyingly, there was electricity, but no telephone, no computer, just an old television from an era long past, capable of playing only three channels.

This living environnt... Well, for her and Jimmy, who were used to a life of luxury, it was too poor!

Turning her head, Camila couldn’t help but look at Jimmy; he must have endured a lot of hardship, given the calluses on his hands.

It seed that being a young master wasn’t at all enjoyable.

In the downstairs hall, two wooden sofas were occupied by uniformly dressed n in black, all between forty to sixty years old, each with an expressionless face, like zombies, exuding a chilling aura.

Camila estimated the number of people; there were about ten in total.

As Jimmy led her downstairs, all ten n glared at her in unison. Yes, glared, as if she were their enemy, with no hint of friendliness in their eyes.

Jimmy’s eyes darkened, the slight smile on his face faded, and he even squinted slightly, scanning the n who seed to be burping after their dinner, and asked, "Dinner?"

"In the kitchen, help yourself," one of the black-clothed n replied irritably.

Camila Ruiz raised an eyebrow. She rembered Uncle Noah’s subordinates were always respectful towards him and even to the four- or five-year-old Jimmy—they were utterly reverent. So why did these n treat Jimmy with such an attitude here?

"Didn’t I just prepare it? Which one of you ate it?" Jimmy Horne suddenly asked with a light smile, though anger flickered in his eyes.

Life here was all about wild ga. On three sides, the place was surrounded by the sea, and on the other side were several mountains. Beyond the mountains was more sea. It seed like an isolated paradise, but in reality, it was cut off from the world. To put it plainly, this was a secluded island. There was abundant fish in the water. Because the mountains were undisturbed and lush with vegetation, the wild grass grew as tall as Camila Ruiz, so there were plenty of wild animals on the mountain. Whatever one wanted to eat, one had to hunt for it oneself.

Jimmy Horne had been thrown here to live for ten years, still not knowing which country or sea area this island belonged to.

After successfully forcing Oscar Evans and Iceberg No. 1 to "invite" Camila Ruiz for him, he gleefully caught so ga and prepared what could be considered a sumptuous dinner, planning to let his arch-enemy have a good taste of wild ga. Now these old guys were telling him to prepare it himself, aning they had devoured everything he had just made for their Five Viscera Temple!

"All eaten," the sa black-clothed man answered.

"Old Man Kay, imdiately, right now, prepare food for and Camila!" Jimmy’s smile vanished as he instantly changed his expression, becoming as dark as a storm, his tone frigid and utterly commanding.

The man nad Kay Kennal was the base’s manager, everyone’s boss, and also the most ruthless. He had a poker face that commanded respect without anger. His blue eyes never showed warmth, and his thin lips, when pursed, could convey the utmost chill. Now at sixty-three, he still looked like he was in his forties, fit enough to kill two tigers with his bare hands.

Any young master sent here for training had to defeat ten instructors working together before they could leave the base upon reaching the age of eighteen.

He had once trained Noah Reyes, but back when Noah was at the base, Kay Kennal wasn’t the manager yet.

Kay Kennal ignored Jimmy’s rage and leaned back lazily, sinking into the wooden sofa with an air of ’I won’t do it, what can you possibly do to ?’

Jimmy glowered at Kay Kennal. Suddenly, he laughed, a radiant laugh, like the round sun in the dayti sky. Camila Ruiz thought he looked particularly handso when he laughed. At just fifteen, he was already so charismatic; she wondered how many won would be heartbroken for him in a few more years.

"Finn! Go, tear up Old Man Kay’s jacket!" Jimmy instructed with a smile. It sounded as if he was joking, but upon closer listening, one could detect the grit of his teeth in his laughter.

In these ten years, every mont was a battle with these ten demons. While they taught him all sorts of skills, they also tried in every way to assassinate him.

He had survived until now, having suffered hardships unknown to outsiders. Now he was beginning to understand the bitterness behind the respect his father received.

Fortunately, up to this point, he was practically able to ta these ten demons.

Finn imdiately tumbled down from upstairs, his clumsy body now moving swiftly, rolling to the bottom in an instant.
