"Glades, Grandma wanted..." The old lady stood up. She wanted to chat with Julia so more, but her grandson was taking Julia away again.

So domineering, always clinging. Once they were married, she feared she wouldn’t have much ti to accompany her, the old woman.

However... she chuckled to herself; this was exactly to her liking.

She couldn’t wait for the young couple to be sweet together, hopefully hit the jackpot soon, and let her beco a great-grandmother earlier.

"Big Brother," Adele Horne called out resentfully. Every ti the Bluen sisters were around, her dear big brother acted this way toward her.

"Adele Horne." He paused, his cold voice throwing back a warning, "Rember what I’ve said, stay three ters away from Julia from now on!"

Adele’s face turned as dark as a thundercloud once again.

Julia Bluen turned her head and glanced at the scowling Adele Horne. Glades’s reproach of his sister to protect her didn’t make Julia feel proud. She didn’t want their relationship to sour because of her.

"Nothing interesting to look at here. If you want to look at soone, you’d be better off looking at your dear husband—," Glades Horne said, pulling her away from the hall and preventing her from looking at the people inside any longer.

Julia Bluen pursed her lips, saying nothing.

The two walked along the cent path in front of the door toward the open-air parking lot.

After a few steps, he stopped again and turned to face her, his lips pursed tight.

Truth be told, Julia Bluen was a bit displeased with his constant lip-pursing.

His sches ran too deep; once those lips were pursed, it was hard to probe his thoughts.

"Don’t mind that lovesick fool!" Glades Horne finally spat out after looking down at her for a long while.

Clearly, he had taken Orlando Evans’s words to heart.

"What can I say? You’re a top-quality flower. I’m about to marry into your family, yet she shalessly moves into the house and talks like its mistress." Julia Bluen wasn’t displeased, just whispering softly. Looking up with her almond-shaped eyes at the handso face so close to hers, she said, "Actually, it’s all your fault!"

He was from a good background, and to top it off, he was incredibly handso. The world’s best and most superior traits seed to be concentrated in him.

Even she thought he was a good man, let alone other won.

Patting her man’s chest, Julia Bluen said teasingly, "Don’t worry, my insecticide is very powerful. Whether it’s the pests that move into the house or those lurking outside, just a spray will ensure your peace and quiet."

Insecticide?

"What’s that?"

Glades Horne’s large hand snaked around her waist, pulling her close as he continued walking.

Unaccustod to being held by the waist, Julia Bluen tried hard to pry his large hand away. After a futile struggle, she decided never to try prying his hand away again—it was just a waste of effort—especially when he then shoved her into her Twitter car.

How can n and won be so naturally different in strength?

Once she was seated in the car, the large hand on her waist automatically withdrew, and Julia Bluen muttered to herself again.

The masculine scent of his cologne wafted over as Glades Horne leaned over her slightly to fasten her seatbelt. While fastening his own, he turned to look at her again. His black eyes, like pearls set in an abyss, twinkled with unfathomable depth, enveloping her like intricate, dense webs from which she could not escape.

"What was that?"

"What was what?" Julia Bluen blinked, echoing his question.

Had she said sothing just now?

The man had asked twice now.

Glades Horne frowned slightly but still asked good-naturedly, "What’s this insecticide you just ntioned?"

Huh?

So *that’s* what he was asking about.

Julia Bluen couldn’t help but let her eyes curve into crescents. Gazing at his handso face, she said, "Insecticide, just as its na implies, is for killing pests. You’re a top-quality flower, so you attract a lot of them. If I don’t have insecticide ready and you get eaten up by those flower-loving pests, wouldn’t I be at a great loss?" she added, her tone pointed.

He tilted his head, his bright, black pearl-like eyes locking onto Julia Bluen’s oval face again. His gaze slid slowly downwards, from her face to her neck, her upper body, all the way to her feet, as if his long-fingered hands were caressing her. Though it was just a look, Julia felt a shiver of discomfort; his focus was so intense it felt as if his hands were indeed roaming over her.

Turning her face away, Julia Bluen felt heat rush to her cheeks. She didn’t need to check; she knew she was blushing.

In the three years she had been with Nicholas Coldwell, he had never looked at her with such intensity.

Warm breath suddenly puffed against her ear. With a smile, yet speaking earnestly, Glades Horne said, "My dear wife, rest assured, your husband—that’s —is absolutely clean from head to toe. I won’t let any other woman touch ."

BOOM!

Julia Bluen’s face reddened even more.

Where was he going with this?

But... it seed her earlier words might have also been heading in that direction.

His warm, moist lips lingered on her earlobe, sending a ticklish, almost aching sensation through her. Julia Bluen drew a sharp breath, her face growing even redder.

They were husband and wife now, but she still couldn’t cope when Glades Horne made such intimate gestures. Images of her sister flashed through her mind—images of Glades with her sister. How could he have moved on so quickly, in just a few days?

"Brother Glades, about you and my sister—"

"We’ve discussed this," he cut in, his voice sharp. "Rember, this marriage was your idea. Also, don’t ever call ’Brother Glades’ again. And finally, stop bringing up your sister in front of !"

He was happy to marry her because...

But the awkwardness and disappointnt Ruby Bluen had caused him were not forgotten either!

"I’m sorry. I didn’t an to; it’s just that I montarily forgot our current relationship again," Julia Bluen sighed softly, aware that he still held a grudge against her sister.
