"Normally, I'm not so patient with those who provoke , Ead Richson. But this ti, I'm intrigued, and that's why I've given you so many chances."
Matthew started walking toward Ead, glaring at him, causing Ead to take a step back and point his gun at Matthew's head.
"I'm not afraid to kill you, Matthew Dietrich. Even if the Allens scare , they'll never be able to find ."
Matthew smiled.
"You seem to think I'm any kind of vampire that went over that power limit, and that's why you think you can play with in such a ridiculous way."
"If you keep moving, I'll shoot and order all my n to do it." He snarled.
Matthew smiled. "Go ahead." He said, opening his arms to receive all the attacks. "Fire as much as you want. You wouldn't have bothered if the previous attacks were aid at . But this ti, I'm angry. Let try your tricks, and I'll crush them one by one for attacking one of my girls."

Ead looked around carefully after hearing him and then looked at the button still in his hand.
Matthew noticed this, so he took a few steps forward. "You can also use that magic bomb. Even though it will blow us all up, I want to see its power. Maybe it can do so damage to ; it looks like a nuclear bomb, after all."
"Hmph, I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but don't overestimate yourself thinking you can stand up to us just because you have so power." Ead imdiately moved his hand to the right and fired without letting him react.
The shot was not aid at Matthew but at a section behind him. At the sa ti, everyone present fired, and that was the mont Ava moved.
The compressed magic flew at high speed toward Matthew, and so shots missed the target as they were aid at where Ava was a mont ago.
Ead Richson's shot was aid at a broken, slightly odd mirror in one of the house's corners.
Matthew noticed what it was from earlier. There were several of those mirrors scattered around this place.
'Reflectors, huh. They seem to have good economic power to buy such expensive objects.' Matthew thought.
Although a large number of magics were flying towards him at high speed, he wasn't worried. Instead, he made sure that Ava was not in danger and then focused on these attacks.
He simply took a small step forward, which caused a pillar of ice to suddenly rise up where he had been before, just before the attacks hit, and froze all the magic coming from that place.
At the sa ti, he moved his right hand towards the magics coming around, and they froze in mid-air. Regardless of whether they were ice, fire, or wind magics, all of these supercompressed magics stopped.
None of them could advance one centiter more than that.
For the rest of the magic, he simply created so magic to counter them. Even so, this last way of countering it was not so efficient. Several magics managed to cross his defense and hit his skin.
'Amazing. Such a power is worthy of laying my hand on it.' Matthew smiled broadly and looked to the front, where Ead Richson was about to press the button.
'Tsk, if you do that, many weapons will be destroyed; it'll be a disgrace.' He thought so, imdiately froze ti, and moved towards him.
Yet, simultaneously, he felt a powerful attack coming from above and from 3 different directions.
Matthew frowned, froze the button, and felt his frozen ti crash down.
Just then, all the magics that were frozen exploded, sending icy chunks flying everywhere like dangerous stakes.
'What a nice weapon. So, the button had two sides. One would activate the bomb inside, and the other would activate a repressive weapon that would explode the magics while sending a powerful attack towards the target person.' He thought.
The attack that he should have received was received by his Frozen Ti, so in the end, it didn't affect him. However, being able to destroy the Frozen Ti he can throw now is sothing to be admired.
But that was it.
"Good weapons, good attack power, and very good tricks, Ead Richson." Matthew said, smiling as he looked up and noticed that the guy had his hand frozen.
Ead Richson is not a powerful vampire, so he couldn't even think of getting rid of it, in fact, he doesn't even have 10,000 power.
He's an ant in front of Matthew, but that's where his value lies.
That little ant has powerful weapons, absurd cunning, and otherworldly intelligence. It has beco the Underworld Emperor of the most historically powerful Kingdom, where Clan Allen, Clan Murphy, and the Academy are stationed.
That's why Matthew wants him as his subordinate. He is soone who knows how to seize the mont and knows when to move.
Finding his location took the Allens a considerable amount of ti, but despite that, they were not able to discover everything about him. That's this man's value, and that's why Matthew hasn't killed him.
But opportunities don't co in pairs.
Ead Richson realized that he couldn't destroy that and noticed that his other weapon had failed; plus, just at that mont, Ava arrived and threw several guys to the ground.
All of those who had shot her earlier had various small arms stuck in their necks as blood sprayed all over the place. She had been incredibly effective in her murder.
Matthew nodded to her. "You did it faster than I expected." He said and looked at the gun in Ava's hand.
"Do you know how to use it?" He asked.
She smiled. "These weapons were actually invented in the human territories. Their inventors were Rachel Richson and Charanne." She looked at Matthew as if she wanted him to notice sothing.
He was surprised. "Rachel Richson." He looked at Ead Richson, who was surprised. Maybe he hadn't expected this woman to know that information.
"Rachel Richson is a household na in the underworld, Matthew. I heard she was the woman who managed to unify the underworlds of the Empire and the Dark Kingdom, also one of the gateways for humans to make disasters in the Dark Kingdom. But, none of that would have been accomplished without Charanne's presence."
"Do you want to know who exactly Charanne was?" she asked, looking at him.
Matthew returned her gaze. He knew about Rachel Richson, more or less knew her history, and Ead Richson was supposed to be that woman's grandson.
But it was the first ti he had heard Charanne's na.
"Who is he?" he asked.
"His official na was Theo Thompson. A nobleman of good standing in the Empire who dabbled in assassination. Father of my father. The invention of this weapon was born in my family. Naturally, I know how to use them perfectly; I also know how and where they are built."
'Ava's grandfather? Wow, what a nice coincidence.' Matthew smiled broadly.
