Isla looked back at him, but she shook her head.

"No... I just felt like I rembered things that made cry." She said, wiping away tears. "Although I can't understand what it was, I think Paul Hoffman was soone very close to us."

Matthew then nodded. "I see... I can't rember anything yet."

Honestly, it didn't feel right for him. But he was sure he must rember soon.

And if delving into the books of that ti was a way to rember, he would read every book here.

With a determined look, he turned to the second volu.

It wasn't long, and it talked about the Dietrich Era again.

But this ti in a slightly different way.

-Was the Dietrich clan exterminated? Possibly.

I personally never got to see the corpses, but the Last Battle had too many powerful people to think otherwise.

I'll start by saying this, in case soday you damned Hill Clan bastards read my book. You should know that I, Paul Hoffman, hate you and will hate you until the end of my days. I am an Immortal Vampire; my Immortality was granted to by My Lord, The Father of Power!

He whom you worshipped in the beginning, but then you bit his hand! The Great Dietrich!

With my Immortality in hand and being perhaps the only one who still retains the True Vampiric Immortality, I will fight against you, traitors. Soday, I will bathe in the blood of all of you, for you were the main culprits. Good luck in your lives, and thank our Father of Power for the fact that you now rule.

With a rather aggressive introduction packed with precious information, Matthew was already imrsed in the story. One of his questions had been answered, but a new one was created in the sa introduction.

Still, the story had just begun.

Soon, he found himself imrsed in a journey as to why a Clan is considered a Saint.

Why is the Dietrich Clan a Saint Clan, and why is the Hill Clan a Saint Clan? Is it because of power, or is it because of sothing else? Your journey continues on empire

The answer is simple: It is due to an ability that any of its mbers have that is vital to the Race to which they belong.

In this context, the only Clan that should be considered a 'Saint Clan' is the Dietrich Clan because it has the race's central and creation ability.

Reading the book's second volu, Matthew realized that all the questions Paul Hoffman asked himself in the first volu were actually a facade. He already knew the answers to the questions regarding the 'Progenitor of the Vampires', and he shouldn't even hesitate.

The answer was simple: it is the Central and Creation Ability of the Race whose na is not specified. But which Matthew can understand.

'It's 'The Vampire', huh.'

With this skill alone, Clan Dietrich ets the standards to be the Saint Clan of the Vampire Race.

Now, Clan Dietrich also ets a possible second option: Clan Dietrich is not degradable. Their Vampirism, unlike all other Vampirisms, is not degradable.

It always remains in quality and can grow; it can never fall. In Paul Hoffman's words, this makes them the most worthy heir to the title, though it didn't seem to be all.

But what does the Hill Clan have for the Vampire Race? What is its magic, its power, or its ability?

The answer is also simple: The Night.

The Hill Clan is the King of the Night because their core ability allows them to rule and create an imnse amount of night variations. The Vampires desired this back then, so the Forgotten Clan, who had secluded themselves in a Mountain, decided to co out at a certain point and perpetuated themselves as the second Saint Clan, taking advantage of the need for the night.

No one can deny that they are worthy to bear the title because they have sothing indispensable. Moreover, this Night is not sothing 'simple'; it allows vampires to have strength in the Night. Moreover, this ability is evolutionary.

It can evolve and change, although it is degradable. If it evolves correctly, its degradability can be avoided.

Seeing this and having known the Hill Clan for over 50 million years, the Great Dietrich devised his own Plan to perpetuate the Vampire Power. He was certain that with his Clan Dietrich and Clan Hill as rulers of a world without a day, no one else could oppose them.

Hence, the mission to destroy the sun was born and carried out a few thousand years later.

But that was the mont when the betrayal began.

-No one, not even I, knows how many sacrifices the Dietrich Clan made to make that mission succeed. What I am sure of is that there was a very big plan behind it, which only the Great Dietrich and his Heir could know.

I can only say that, in the Final Battle for the Supremacy of the Races, all the existing races participated. Even monsters and terrifyingly powerful and gigantic existences were present—even the treachery of the Hill Clan and nurous smaller Clans, Organizations, and so on.

They feared sothing: The Coming of the Prophecy.

The Prophecy of a New Era.

That was the end of the 3 Volus of the Dietrich Era. Without realizing it, Matthew had read both final Tos in a mont, getting precious information on everything he wanted.

The betrayal of the Hill Clan. It was specified that it took place after the sun was destroyed, taking advantage of that mont and its Night.

It was a final battle for supremacy, which left the doors open for many things. Who won it? The vampires? For now, Matthew doesn't know because, for so reason, he feels those things are far away.

This complented what he already knew about the Vampire Prosperity Organization allied with Clan Hill to betray the race, which could an that the vampires were perhaps the winners of the Final Battle for Supremacy, with Clan Hill rising in the end.

However, one more issue was ntioned that went unanswered. Were the extrely powerful people not identified within any of the races infiltrators from the other races? Or were they a new race? Where did they live?

Also, the arrival of a supposed prophecy ntioning a New Age ant it was interesting to read.

As Matthew prepared to close the book, he noticed that there was still one more page, which seed to be a bit stuck to the last page, which is why he hadn't noticed it.

The page had almost nothing written, simply a few final words.

-To answer the question I started with... I cannot know if the Dietrich Clan was exterminated.

It has been a while since their Fall, and I can't understand much of what I saw in those days. I have been looking for the corpses of our Leaders for a long ti, but I have not been able to find them. My faith remains intact that they have not been exterminated, but I must acknowledge a reality. That day, there were too many strange, gigantic, and very powerful existences.

Perhaps they were devoured by those strange beasts, or perhaps they were kidnapped. The world is in chaos and probably won't last long; I leave my writings behind as evidence of what was once the Greatest Age of the Vampire Race.
