Hearing Kranos’s question, Rose smiled lightly. She understood Kranos deeply; even though it seed he was asking out of despair, he actually had a ans of escape and just wanted to take advantage of that to gain information about them before departing.
She was truly impressed with Kranos at the thought. Since he possessed the space elent, a rare elent, an idea quickly ford in her mind: "You possess a rare elent and are extrely smart. Why don’t you join our organization? If you do so, your life will no longer be in danger."
Kranos glanced at her coldly. Her voice felt faintly familiar, but he couldn’t recall where he had heard it. He understood what Rose was implying, and he couldn’t help but frown deeply. Basically, it seed like she was inviting him to their organization, but it was more like a threat.
Since she said his life would no longer be in danger if he joined them, she was practically telling him that his life would constantly be in danger as long as he hadn’t joined them, even if he killed her. He also understood another thing from her statent... they seem to be chasing those with rare elents?
His thoughts moved, and then, withdrawing his sword into his ti-space, like he had surrendered.
He asked, "How do I join your organization?"
Seeing Kranos’s sincere expression, Rose sneered inwardly. If she didn’t know how cunning and cautious Kranos was, she might have believed him.
Her hand flashed briefly and sothing appeared in it. Kranos’s gaze was imdiately attracted to it.
He discovered it was a shackle, similar to handcuffs from his previous life, but he felt this one seed more sophisticated.
"This will imprison you to make sure you don’t try anything funny," her voice resounded calmly from beneath the mask. "When we reach the organization headquarters, you will take a test and be promoted to a disciple of the faction."
Kranos frowned seeing this. He knew there was no need for any more talk between them; binding himself would be no different from handing his life over to her.
At that ti, if she wished, she could kill him. Kranos didn’t think the shackles would be that simple; after all, if it was just binding him, he could escape at any ti. He felt the blue-masked woman wouldn’t be that naive.
With that, his figure vanished as he used his spatial movent technique to appear silently behind her. Imdiately after he did so, he paused the ti around her. He wanted to kill her in a single strike, then move on to the rest.
However, just as Kranos appeared, he realized that... he couldn’t move as well?
Kranos was horrified. Without any hesitation, he rewound his ti to his previous location. Just as his figure faded from there, a loud explosion resounded. The dust slowly cleared, and he realized that countless sharp tree branches had erged from the ground.
Feeling the space around her return to normal, a faint chuckle resounded from beneath the mask.
"You really think I won’t be prepared for your ability to restrict space? You truly underestimate your opponents... Kranos!"
Kranos was stunned. She knows my na? His expression beca solemn as he glanced at the blue-masked woman. She probably knew everything about him, but he knew nothing about her. He didn’t like this at all!
Also... he glanced around, and his frown deepened. Another unique ability? This ti, it seems like it’s the ability to control plants? Kranos raised a brow in surprise. It seed the organization specialized in recruiting those with special abilities.
Kranos felt his movent beco normal as soon as he rewound ti. He used space flash again and teleported directly to Rose, this ti aiming to strike her from her blind spot. However, just as he reached Rose, his body once again froze.
Kranos was stunned, and without thinking twice, he imdiately rewound ti and appeared at his previous location. He realized sothing was wrong.
Rose, on the other hand, glanced at Kranos, causing him to feel a chill. He felt the blue-masked lady must have done sothing to him.
"What did you do to ?" he asked, while quickly analyzing rapidly. In a few seconds, he had a faint guess. It seems it only affects when I use my space elent! Kranos quickly realized. Testing it out, his figure faded once again, and quickly appeared beside Rose.
This ti, he didn’t plan to fully attack and just wanted to confirm his guess. Just as he expected, as soon as he reached Rose, his body froze and he could no longer move. He rewound ti once more and returned back to his previous location.
Kranos’s expression turned unsightly...
"What did I do to you? I just restricted your movent, nothing much..." she replied with a faint smile from beneath the mask.
Kranos had also realized this fact, but... when did she have the chance to do this? His thoughts quickly moved to all those he had encountered. His eyes finally widened in shock as he realized sothing. Wait! She?
"Rose?" Kranos called out in surprise...
"So you finally recalled , Kranos..." Rose said with a faint smile, she also took off her mask, revealing the familiar beautiful face.
Kranos was in disbelief!
Who would have thought that a seemingly young lady would have such cultivation and actually want to kill him? Previously, he didn’t even relate the two of them together, but now, he finally realized that one of the two tis she bumped into him, she had made so changes which he didn’t know, to his body.
Causing it such that, any ti he used the space elent, he would be restricted. Kranos frowned at the thought; in this case, it would be very difficult for him to escape. After all, his space elent had always been his escape route.
He quickly studied his body to discover what changes she had made. He soon noticed sothing: deep within his arm, a small plant seed to have erged. Without a trace, its roots had dug deeper into his skin, all the way to his ridians.
Kranos was horrified; he finally understood why he couldn’t use the space elent previously.
"You finally realized, huh?" seeing Kranos’s expression, Rose remarked with a playful smile, "How do you like my elental restricting blood ginseng? It cost a fortune, you know."
