Kranos looked at the creature that had appeared before him. Surprisingly, it was a tree demon. Kranos was surprised but without giving Kranos ti to think much, the corrupted tree imdiately attacked Kranos with almost ten branches.

Not good! Kranos exclaid inwardly, executing space flash to the maximum. Unexpectedly, the tree’s speed was very fast, fortunately, it wasn’t as fast as Kranos. After all, the Tree Demon was only at the mid-stage of Foundation Establishnt.

Kranos brandished his sword, which emitted a silvery glow—Moonlight saber... this was a sword technique he had comprehended after spending months occasionally glancing at the purple moon hung up in the sky.

In the next instant, his sword seed to vanish from sight—and before the Tree Demon could even sense it, it had already been split in half. The creature didn’t see how it happened... it died in eternal regret...

But Kranos had no ti to rest. Another corrupted beast lunged at him. Gritting his teeth, Kranos swung his blade. Like before, the monster was dead before it even realized it had been attacked.

Previously, Kranos had used these creatures to hone his instincts and reflexes. But now, seeing that they were trying to overwhelm him through numbers and attrition, he knew—this couldn’t continue.

He would have to cut them down swiftly.

And so, the killing began in earnest. One after another, the beasts fell like wheat under his blade as Kranos used the moonlight saber consecutively. Their corrupted bodies twitched and collapsed to the ground, slowly dissolving into a puddle of purplish liquid.

As his mana reserves dwindled, Kranos suddenly felt sothing stir deep within him. Within his mind space, he could see that ninth foundation had solidified and the tenth one was slowly shaping under his strenuous use of ana

anwhile, in another part of the battlefield, Ming and the others rapidly approached the creature that was hidden beneath the dark purple mist. The mist slowly cleared, revealing the demon that had terrorized them all. It was a worm?

"Activate the array," Ming commanded in a loud voice. Everyone began infusing their mana into the array rod given to them by Ming. They all imdiately began glowing with a faint blue light, and at the sa ti, flashes of lightning seed to surface on them.

It’s working! Ming sighed in relief. Previously, she was only 30% sure that her modified version of the array would work but she didn’t dare voice her doubts for fear of scaring the others. But at this mont she was interrupted by a low chuckle. it ca from the... worm?

Ming glanced at the worm but the next mont her expression changed drastically. She felt a stab of pain coming from her chest. She was shocked, she imdiately sprayed a mouthful of blood and fell down weakly to the ground. She turned to glance at the figure that stabbed her and realized that it was... ko?

"Ko? Wh... why?" she managed to mutter under her breath as she stared at him in disbelief.

"What do you know about suffering?" he growled. "My talent was always diocre, i had to spend the longest breaking through each ranks, do you think i was actually happy with that? All the smiles and the jokes—i just did all that to make you all misunderstand ... The true . I didn’t want to be seen as not only a person with low talent but also soone that was always constantly pained." Ko said through gritted teeth, he truly hated the life he had been living before.

Fortunately, he t a master that could change his talent, just taking a Gu worm belonging to the master, his bottleneck loosened, and he was able to break through to the next realm. He was truly thankful to his master, who altered his fate and changed his life.

"Master," he said, bowing slightly. Similarly, the sa situation occurred in four other places in the array and multiple other places in the battlefield.

The worm’s face seed to contain an imperceptible smile as it stared as Ko, "you did a good job number one."

"Yes, master, let us wrap up the battle, then devour this world and head to a bigger world," Ko said, bowing even more deeply, to which the worm nodded, seemingly pleased.

At this mont a figure flashed by, it was Grandpa Ju, his body was covered in blood, which of course wasn’t his own. He imdiately held Ming in his hand and glared furiously at ko, Ko sneered in return; he didn’t have ti to waste on them.

Sighs...

Surprisingly, at this mont a faint sigh resounded from Ming’s mouth. She took a healing pill, leaving Ju’s grasps and stood up. "Fortunately, my bet paid off. I already guessed sothing like this might happen." she then turned to Ju, "You know, old man—I even suspected you at one point, thinking you will be the one to betray ... i know how tempting these things, like power, can be."

Ju looked at Ming in disbelief, he wanted to ask the question that was in everyone’s mind, how was she still alive after getting a stab to the heart?

Ming already understood what they were going to ask. "i predicted that soone would stab my heart so i shifted the position of my heart to a different part of my body, then I embedded countless protective arrays inside myself. Even if you were the one to attack ," she said, turning to the worm, "you wouldn’t be able to kill easily."

Hearing her words, the battlefield fell silent, they could imagine the kind of torturous pain one would have to go through to shift their heart and also set up countless arrays inside their own heart. The pain would be too much for a normal human to bear; Ming’s will was beyond normal.

Suddenly, multiple rods materialized in her hands. She tossed one to Ju and shouted:

"Call the others. These are the real rods! Let’s finish this and slay that worm!"

The worm demon and Ko felt their lips twitch. This woman was really troubleso; she truly had predicted everything and had everything accounted for! Soon eight more figures joined the others and the array was ford.

A pale golden light imdiately rose up, as the eye of the array, Ming, held the absolute power. At this mont her body glowed with five different colors.

She could now wield all five elents in succession...
