Kranos scratched his nose awkwardly. He wasn’t gifted in the study of alchemy at all; he was rely taking advantage of his unique ti ability to hasten his progress. Of course, the elder didn’t know this, and Kranos wouldn’t tell him either.

"Thank you, Elder," Kranos said politely, then his eyes subtly flickered towards the thick book. The elder quickly understood what he ant and advised,

"Yes, go back to studying the book. As soon as you are done, we can begin studying the process of creating pills."

Kranos nodded at the elder’s words, then his attention returned to the book before him. Before long, the sound of pages flapping resounded once again in the hall. The elder turned to look at his disciple, his face still holding a smile he couldn’t restrain.

Seeing this, his disciple was displeased. He said to his master, "Could it be that he only recalled a few pages, and that’s what he called out for you?" His guess was reasonable and caused his master’s smile to stiffen for a minute. But after thinking about it, he hadn’t seen Kranos pause to morize any of the pages, so it was highly likely that he had mastered it here.

With that, the elder smiled towards his disciple but didn’t say anything.

Ti passed swiftly, and soon Kranos was done with the alchemy book. The elder glanced at the sky, then let out a sigh and said to Kranos, "Young man, co back tomorrow. We will begin learning how to create alchemy pills then."

Kranos nodded silently at the elder’s words. He also noted that the sky had grown dark. He bowed slightly in thanks before departing to his room to resu cultivating. The elder stared at Kranos’s departing figure before smiling slightly and walking back to his study room.

anwhile, his disciple was left standing, staring in the direction Kranos had vanished. He walked out of the hall and towards a particular corner, then began muttering so words. His faint voice could be heard if one listened closely.

"It seems he is extrely gifted in the art of alchemy." His voice sounded as though he was talking to soone; it also contained a hint of respect.

"Oh? Why do you say so?" another voice resonated in his mind. He then narrated the events that had transpired in the day to the mysterious figure before waiting for a reply.

"That is good news. Go on with the plan. For now, in about a month, it should happen, but by then, he should be able to make so dicinal pills, which will be the perfect ti for it to happen."

He listened silently to the words of the mysterious figure. After so more advice, the mysterious figure finished speaking. With that, he turned back to the courtyard and walked in the direction of his room.

Unaware that he was being plotted against, Kranos walked into his room and began cultivating. Just like before, he was still studying the Heaven and Earth Movent Technique. He was now at the advanced stage in his comprehension of the ability, which he noted was only slightly inferior to Luka’s.

He wanted to reach the next stage of comprehension before moving to the Stellar Core technique. He felt it would be extrely helpful, as there was also that Stellar Secret Technique which could gather the essence of the stars and condense a unique trump card he could use.

While Kranos was cultivating, ti passed swiftly.

The next day, Kranos went to et the elder to begin crafting dicinal pills. The elder was impressed by Kranos’s inquisitiveness to learn.

"Since you are just a beginner in crafting dicinal pills, you don’t need a fire for now. By using your mana to strip out the dicinal essence and fusing them, you can form a pill, which you will slowly solidify. This is only a beginner technique to make you understand more about crafting pills," the elder sounded serious.

Kranos listened with rapt attention as he continued. "After that is crafting Rank One pills. For your concoction to be considered a pill, firstly, you have to use a fla; it could be any fire, but there are those which are extrely helpful in crafting dicinal pills."

"Using the fire, you will burn out the impurities in the herbs, and extract their main essence to create a Rank One pill. Do you understand the process?" the elder asked as soon as he was done.

Kranos nodded slightly in understanding. Thinking that Kranos didn’t fully comprehend his words, the elder withdrew a few Rank One herbs and started the alchemy process, explaining as he went along.

"To create a dicinal pill, not only do you need a fire, but you also need an alchemy cauldron which will aid you in the process of extracting the impurities, extracting the dicinal essence from the herbs, and so on."

A deep blue, three-legged pot appeared in front of the elder. On his right hand, a pale yellowish fla danced around. Tossing all the dicinal herbs in his hand into the cauldron, the elder then moved his palm forward, heating up the cauldron.

"While heating up the cauldron and burning away the impurities, you have to learn to feel the herb so you can tell when most of the impurities are gone, just the essence is left, and stop the process before the herbs go up in flas."

After he finished speaking, he continued moving his hand around the cauldron. His eyes lit up as he sensed sothing. Wisps of the fla slid into the tiny holes on the cauldron, and soon Kranos heard a swishing sound as though sothing was burning up.

Watching in curiosity, he stared as the elder finished what he was doing. He waved his palm, and the fla vanished. After that, he slapped the cauldron, and imdiately three dicinal pills flew out. Along with them ca a scent of dicinal aroma which wafted through to his nose.

Kranos stared at the dicinal pills in shock. "These pills ca from those herbs?" Although he knew about the process of alchemy, seeing it before his eyes was still surprising nonetheless. Kranos took a deep breath; the process was truly fascinating!
