Chapter 462: Rescue Mission
In the end, the Conqueror was so overwheld by the aura Shane was releasing that he almost forgot what he was supposed to do.
It was Shane’s bloodlust-killing-intent, which he faintly released in order to envelop himself with it, strengthening his body.
Enhancing his body as much as possible before entering an unknown, yet dangerous area was not sothing Shane wanted to do without having reached his highest combat prowess.
As such, while circulating large amounts of mana through his body, he used bloodlust-killing-intent to further enhance himself. Additionally, he released a small amount of mana in order to envelop his body with it, reinforcing his defense capabilities, while the young conqueror left for the dinsion portal.
Even if he was not sure whether it would work or not, Shane could only hope for the best.
Otherwise, the life of his comrades and combatants would be in grave danger.
Right now it was already dangerous enough, and Shane didn’t want to waste even a single second.
Exerting the nature ability, he used its weak healing property in order to stop the bleeding of his palms and lower lip.
After that, the Invincible Scimitar manifested in his hand as he took a deep breath before placing down the space door that was paired with the one he had given to the Conqueror.
‘To think that I’ll use Space doors like that…’
Shaking his head in disbelief, he opened the door, awaiting the mont when the Conqueror would place down the space door Shane had given him.
Changing his stance, Shane exerted the Light step movent technique, and the energy currents were churning inside his body.
Shane was ready to move at any mont, and his mind was ready to fight imdiately.
He didn’t even think about the possibility that the space door might not work.
Instead, his mind was fully occupied with the thought that he had to fight the mont he erged inside the shelter.
If the Space door wouldn’t work, he would just be repelled, but given the odds, Shane was weirdly confident that the Primordial dinsions would malfunction.
The Myst stage beast had to appear in the basic dinsion too sohow!
At that mont, Shane’s thoughts were distracted by the sign that the Space door’s twin had been placed down.
As such, without a millisecond of hesitation, he used every ounce of his strength to catapult himself ahead.
This caused the stone below him to crack as tiny fractions flew through the air.
The people around him watched Shane weirdly because they hadn’t realised what he was doing.
However, seeing the shocking acceleration he reached within a single mont caused their eyes to bulge.
Only a mont later Shane, the leader of the Astral Starlight faction and strongest youngest prodigy that had ever existed in mankind’s history, vanished through the Space door.
Faint currents of wind brushed past the face of the spectators that had been standing near Shane, only to regain their senses a while later.
“Did he create the gust of wind by just moving….?”
While the other humans near the Dinsion portal were shocked beyond their imagination, Shane’s hand tightened around the Invincible Scimitar the mont he knew that he’d erged through the Space door.
His speed was several tis higher than that of a common peak Expert with a mana purity above [90%].
Thus, the mont he erged inside the shelter, the Conqueror noticed him even when Shane was more than 10 ters away!
Shane’s movent speed was so fast that it was impossible to perceive everything in detail, and the Conqueror’s tensions dissipated at once upon seeing Shane.
His legs gave in and he slumped to the ground while muttering,
“I’m glad to follow him…”
In the end, the Conqueror who had set up the space door had once been poor, living in an abusive household, and was almost on the brink of death, counting his days that were numbered. That was until the Starlight guild began to recruit those that had just entered the Basic dinsions or were just about to activate the system.
Shane had beco his ray of hope and in the end his Idol for treating everyone nicely without discriminating based on their background.
He nurtured everyone with his fullest capabilities, and even if their leader could have other intentions such as building an army to overthrow the governnt, the Conqueror, who was now lying on the ground, would follow Shane everywhere.
Never had he seen a leader care about every single mber of an organization, after all.
This was not easy, and sotis even deed as impossible, but Shane was evidently not soone who just gave up on rescuing his comrades, only because it could be dangerous!
He was on his way to rescue the Valkyries, the Conquerors and Miriam, who were fighting with their life on the line.
Shane was completely oblivious to the thoughts of the inspired Conqueror, who was staring at him with reverence gleaming in his eyes.
However, even if he had known it he would have ignored it because he had more important things to do than minding what people thought about him, irrespective of whether it was good or bad.
He was glad that it was possible to deceive the Primordial dinsion, yet, that was only the first step.
Now, by looking around, he scanned the shelter’s condition that was by far worse than expected.
The longer he ran through the destroyed alley, the more demolished structures he found.
In the end, even the shelter wall had collapsed but it was to be expected.
Their opponent was a Myst stage beast after all!
There was one intact watchtower and Shane reached on top of it with a powerful jump, creating cracks on the alley that was already crumbling to pieces.
After reaching the top of the watchtower, he checked whether he had retained the effects of the Eagle Eyes skill.
Unfortunately, even the passive skills seed to have been terminated along with the severed connection to the system.
However, this excluded the skills of [Artemis’ blessing] because the blessing was sothing that belonged innately to him and no one else.
The blessing’s abilities and effects were sothing he had yet to fully understand, and Shane knew that he had yet to unlock the blessing’s full potential.
Despite that, his mind was calm through the blessing and he could even feel that his heart was thumping loudly, increasing his mana circulation speed drastically.
This made him smile lightly as he transferred small traces of mana from the Hidden Paradise to himself.
Yet, the mont he looked at his surroundings, Shane’s smile stiffened before it vanished completely.
“Are there multiple Myst stage beasts?!”
With a single glance, Shane saw around 11 beasts, and all of them were busy fighting more than 100 Conquerors.
This made it obvious how strong the opponents were, but Shane’s gaze lingered on the more than six-ter tall, and 20-ter long beast that looked like a miniature form of a Behemoth similar to what he had seen in the encyclopedia for extinct beasts, long tusks, and muscular four legs.
“That’s bad…even without liquefied mana drops…that beast is a monster…”
Shane was not yet worried about his own life, but more about the fact that both Miriam and the Valkyries were fighting against the Lesser Behemoth, whose biggest advantage was its devastating amount of mana and physical strength.
In the end, Shane knew that simply standing around wouldn’t be helpful. As such he rushed forward, charging at the beasts to help his comrades!
