The first wind of the day ca with the morning sunlight that started to be annoying by shining in his eyes. And that got consciousness back to a man, waking him up from sleep slowly. His amber eyes blinked a couple of tis before he let out a soft whine when he started to be functional again.
“My head’s dizzy. Guess I drank a little bit too much last night.” Wisana said as he was rubbing on his temples, surprised by the fact that he could get a hangover in the ga, too. Even though he felt admired for the realness of the ga, he also complained about this technology, too. Because he really hated this situation the most.
He hoped that there was a hangover pill in the ga, or he would knock his head on the ground as he walked for sure. He thought before he looked around at the morning view. The chirp of sparrows was resounding like they were wishing him a good morning. Then he decided to get up, but suddenly his body felt so heavy that he could not even move. Wisana paused for a second before he raised his eyebrows in surprise.
“What? Was I that drunk, so I can’t even get up right now?”
“No, it’s not because of that.” a familiar small clear voice ca, drawing his eyes to look at her. His pretty buddy girl was sitting curled up on a hard log, not very far from him. Her adorable face was facing a transparent screen calmly.
She glanced at him for a mont, before giving him a smile.
“Good morning, May.” The man greeted her out of courtesy, making her feel even more amused.
“I believe it now that you really are having a hangover.” She said. “Before you greet , you don’t want to see what makes you unable to get up?”
“What are you saying?” The hangover one raised his eyebrows curiously before he followed his friend’s eyes. And when an image hit his eyes, the man almost choked on his own saliva.
“Nam! What are you doing?!” Wisana yelled aloud.
“Obviously, she sneaked into your blanket, brother,” Maysa replied as she was laughing. Actually, she kind of saw it coming in the first place that this guy would be yelling at this for sure. And she was right. No surprise though. This pretty sister was really the type that was careless to the max level!
This awkward situation only left the older brother gasping up and down like a goldfish, while he was looking at the younger one sleeping. She looked the most comfortable, using his shoulder as a pillow.
Her slender limbs curled up together so tightly that her pleated skirt, which was already short, rolled up even more, revealing her fair thigh and a hint of pink panty. Seeing this, he felt like passing out again.
“When did Nam sneak into my blanket? I rember that last night... when did I sleep last night?” Hearing that, the gunner who was keeping her hair in a ssy bun today, giggled.
“Oh, you’re speaking like you functioned well last night.” She mocked.
“At first, she was sleeping in another corner, but then she slept walk into your blanket just like that. I tried to wake her up many tis, but she had to be very exhausted. So, I let her sleep with you.” Maysa explained plainly before her eyes moved back to pay attention to her window instead. Unlike the other who was struggling to look away, before he had to slap his face harshly to do so.
Not only was she not careful, but also liked to get herself in trouble. What if she slept walk and cuddled soone else who was not him? He did not even want to imagine it, damn it.
“S... she’s such a tiring sister.” Wisana pretended to complain like this was no big deal, even though his heart was skipping a beat uncontrollably. A big drop of sweat was falling on his face when his hands were trying to get the sister’s head off him strugglingly.
“A drunkard like you have the right to talk about her like that?” The small voice said out of the blue. When she finished with the information in front of her, the healthy figure got up, stretching the stiffness out of her body.
The insult made Wisana frown as he turned away. But when he found out that there were just the girls around, he scratched his bird’s nest-like ssy hair.
“Where have Ae and Richie gone?”
“They left at dawn, a couple of hours before you woke up, I think.”
“To where?” He continued asking.
“I told him to buy so supplies for travel. He’ll be back soon.”
“Oh.”
He drawled sleepily in response before he brought out a blue potion from his inventory to drink.
“Oh, it gets better. I was just ssing around and found out that the blue potion helps with the hangover, too.” Wisana said excitedly. Maysa just turned to him and nodded.
“So, this new patch upgraded the realness of the ga, too.” She said. “It even added the hangover debuff like this.”
“Why would they think the players need this debuff.”
“Try asking the ga developers.” The buddy brushed him off. And the tall one took a while before he could feel alive again. Then he jumped to sit next to the planning manager with a curious look.
“What are you reading?”
“This?” She repeated. “It’s the system change details in the new patch. Looks like this update has a lot of weird play systems, so I should learn so of them.”
“And, what’s new?” The man asked, taking another sip of the blue potion.
“Well, plenty, for example, EXP trading between guild mbers, player ranking system, commitnt contract system, bounty hunting system.” She said while she was sliding her screen to show the details of what she was talking about. “But this one is the most important, I think. The ga ti is now extended to be longer.”
“Extended?”
“Uh-huh, look here, they increased the ti ratio between the real ti and the ga ti, from 1 to 3 to 1 to 5 now.”
“Whoa, that’s a lot,” Wisana exclaid, shocked.
At first, 1 hour in the real world would be 3 hours in the ga. But if they adjusted the ratio to 1 to 5, then it ant that, on average, to be online in the Pride one ti would be extended from one day to two days implicitly.
“They have the reason that players will have more ti to enjoy the ga, sothing like that. I don’t really care about this so much, though. One day or two doesn’t make any difference.” Maysa said with a shrug, while the other nodded along with her.
“I care more about this one.” The small voice ca again as she was dragging a tab that showed a web board with a red background to the middle.
“What’s this?”
“A complaint board from the players to the GMs.” She answered monotonously. “I’m going to show you this post.” Her slender finger pressed on the headline of the post, saying. “Caution! The hunters have gone violent. GMs, please do sothing.”
“Hunters?”
