“What’s her na?”

“Whan. See? The na’s also sweet.”

“Interesting. Photos?”

“Of course. She asked for Vincent’s autograph and so I asked for a photo with her.”

“Wait, so she’s your fan? Do I really have a chance?”

“Hey, no worries. If you’re interested, I’ll definitely hook you up. Believe , it’ll be a success!”

“You sure?”

“Totally! Let’s eat and I’ll get you the photo.”

“Let’s do it!”

Then, both of them walked away. Maysa still had a happy smile on her face.

Both Tun and Nuch were very lucky to have her boyfriend with them. Even though the mood had not been lifted that much and one of the Nesis was gone, she still believed that they would be able to go through it.

----------------

Hot air and blazing sunlight in the vast desert reflected in the beautiful amber eyes that absent-mindedly looked out towards the horizon. It looked like she was quite aged, yet she was still gorgeous even with half of her face covered with a white rose mask. Only her full rosy lips could be seen.

A small figure of the woman was sitting on the ridge that stuck out of a small hill in the middle of the desert.

Her eyeballs were so still as if she was staring so hard at sothing. The end of her silver hair was blown by the hot wind.

“Ms. Baron, there’s urgent news.”

Suddenly, a boy’s voice sounded from behind her. He could not even keep his excitent.

“What is it?”

The lady with a mask asked calmly. She turned around and lifted the hoodie up as if she did not want anyone to see her face.

“Ah... I-I’m very sorry. I should have called out to you first. I forgot that you don’t like your face being seen.”

The boy said with utmost respect. She smiled gently at him.

“It’s fine. There’s no big deal.” She nodded. “What is the news?”

“Yes. Well, the Nesis is on the move.”

Hearing that, the lady in a mask nad “Baron” got up from her seat and stretched.

“I see.” She said. “They’re coming to the south, right?”

“I’m not sure. But before they used the concealing system with the ship, it looked like they were heading south. It’s just like what Ms. Baron said!” The boy got excited.

“Good.” She nodded and grabbed his shoulder. “Go tell everyone to be prepared. We need two hundred fighters with us. We’re going to finish our job in hours.”

“Yes ma’am!”

He accepted the order and ran off. The lady in a mask’s gaze followed the boy’s back with a slight smile. She looked around scrutinizingly.

It was apparent now that behind the hill that she was on was a gigantic oasis with over five hundred tents that accommodated players who were walking about the area. So were used as item and armor shops.

The people there were mostly teenagers. There were more than a thousand of them. It was clear that this was an intimidating army.

“Well, then...” Baron flicked her wrists. “Let’s go for so exercise, Alice.”

“Yes.”

----------------

“Everything looks fine?”

A sweet voice rang, asking right after the door to the deck was opened widely. Maysa walked inside, leaving the jacket loose on her. She did not even button it up all the way. It was so hot that she had to fan herself.

“Everything’s normal, captain,” Aerin reported. “We’re getting to the desert territory. No signs of the enemy just yet.”

“That’s good.”

Maysa smiled at her before sitting down in her seat. She looked outside the window and saw so much sand blowing around. The temperature here started to get hotter. Then, she looked at her friends in front of her. Warunya and Aerin were in their position. k was reading a pocketbook while controlling the wheel.

“Please calculate when we’re going to reach Aeneas.”

“Yes, captain.”

The captain nodded in satisfaction. She pulled up so many information windows to check the status of the ship. But before she did that, she noticed Warunya looking absent-mindedly at the screen in front of her.

Her pitch-black eyes stared at the screen with running texts. Her hands were in a typing position, but they were only raised there, idling.

“Orn?”

Maysa called out to her. Of course, there was no answer.

“Orn...? Orn? Ms. Warunya!”

“Y-yes?!”

Maysa had to shout. Warunya was startled as expected.

Maysa frowned and sighed. She felt like people around her had been so absent-minded lately.

“What is it? It looks like you have sothing in mind.”

Maysa did not expect a good answer. Warunya quickly smiled and added.

“It’s nothing.” She said. “Well... It’s about Nuch. I wonder how she’s doing now. I’m worried that Sven won’t take care of her as well as he should.”

Maysa sighed softly, knowing that it was a lie. Yet, she did not push any further. She pretended to nod in understanding and continued browsing the information.

“Nuch will be fine when one of the four gods promised that he would take great care of her.”

Warunya seed to be more down when she heard the word ‘the four gods.’

“I guess so.”

She drooped down and never said anything again.

Maysa was too lazy to care. Warunya was not easy to read anyway. She did not show much through her expressions and barely talked about herself. She was technically mysterious.

Maysa let out a short sigh and scrutinized the information in front of her. There were still parts of the ship that needed repair from the use of the Over limit. Even though Alexander had been idle for days, they could not do it because of the lack of high-level ship parts. Manoch could only repair the most important parts.

The weapons parts were especially critical...

The cannons were still intact. But the missiles and the magic crystals used for creating the ship’s barrier were completely out.

“If the enemies ambushed us here, we’d be dood.”

Maysa muttered to herself. From the information that she had, Alexander was not ready for the fight.

Then, she closed the screen down, looking worried.

“At least I hope God is kind to us.” She gently massaged the area between her eyebrows.

The door swung open again and everyone turned to look at it. It was Wisana who walked inside with a hot coffee mug in his hand.

“What’s up? Everything good?”

“Yes.” Everyone smiled back at him.

“What about Tun?” Maysa asked.

“Back to his room,” Wisana said. “He needs so ti alone to think about things anyway. Don’t worry, he’s strong. He’ll be able to get up in no ti.”

“Okay.”

Maysa nodded with an awkward smile.

“Why the long face?” Wisana raised his eyebrows a little and handed her the coffee.

“Thanks.” Maysa took the mug and sighed. “Well, seeing Alexander in this state got worried. Our weapons are scarce. We tried so hard to bring Nuch back and it turned out she’s back with them anyway.”

“Don’t say that.” Wisana put his hand on her head and tilted it slowly. “Nuch isn’t gone. And I think she’s happier there, which is a good thing, right?”

“That’s true.” Maysa sighed again. “It’s good that no guild is on the move yet, so the war has temporarily ceased. But I’m still worried about that group of people. It’s like we’re being watched all the ti. I started to think that it was useless for us to go into hiding. They’re waiting for the right ti to strike.”

Wisana stroked his lips while thinking.

“And if the enemies decided to co now, it’d be a disaster for us,” Maysa said. “The weapons aren’t ready and we’re short on people. Mr. Sander and Nuch aren’t here anymore. Kong and Tun aren’t ready to fight either.”

Wisana frowned a little. He glanced at k.

“k.” He called him.

“Yes, leader.”

“We don’t have the items used to fix this ship anymore?”
