The walk to his school was definitely a walk of sha. Lin Yunfeng could not even raise his head as he felt so many gazes focused on him. He was abnormally sensitive to it today.

Jai gently pulled him to the side, helping him avoid a nearby alpha who was loitering around. "So, you’re an oga? How did they sniff it out, though? They’re like dogs in heat."

Lin Yunfeng lowered his head even more. "My life is ruined... Jai... when I’m taken by the governnt, I want you to find . Don’t let my disappearance go unnoticed."

Jai jokingly ruffled his untad hair. "You’re imagining stuff, man. It won’t be that bad."

"I hope so..." Lin Yunfeng’s mood improved slightly.

Jai pulled him into a side hug. "Are you going to let this small thing ruin your life, or are you going to own it to your advantage?"

He clenched his fists tightly. "I can’t give up just because of this small hiccup. I have to fight through this. I will be the best oga in the whole wide world!" he roared and ran into the school gates.

"Wait for , dude!" Jai ran in after him.

eting the governnt agents was not as bad as Lin Yunfeng had imagined. No one treated him differently. In fact, they didn’t even bother with him. They just made him sign so registration docunts, and he was sent back to his class.

That was it.

Nothing else was different from any normal day he would spend in school.

After school, Yunfeng and Jai left for their hos together. His best friend lived on the way to his place, so it was quite convenient for them to travel together.

Yunfeng gazed around at the individual mansions with beautiful gardens in front and at the distant high-rise buildings. Since this area of their housing was well protected, they were allowed to walk around. But in the central city, flying cars were the only ans of transport.

In just about ten minutes, they reached Jai’s place.

Lin Yunfeng glanced back at the small groups of alphas who had been loafing around. As soon as he looked, they all pretended to carry on with their business. "Predators. I’m just eighteen, a child, and here they are trying to snatch up like a trophy wife."

"Don’t worry, after a few days they’ll dwindle in numbers." Jai gave him a small smile. "Oh, and if the governnt captures you, I will find you and save you like a knight on a white horse." He jokingly punched Yunfeng’s shoulder and walked into his house.

Chuckling, Lin Yunfeng happily ran back to his house, which was just a ten-minute walk away.

He hopped slightly as he walked.

Suddenly, a black van in the distance caught his eye. He peered at it curiously. He had never seen a car like this in his area before. Did soone new move in?

Blah, it must be soone’s relative.

A lot of old ladies lived in the area, so their grandsons and children visited them often.

Lin Yunfeng brushed it off and ran into his house.

Right as he entered the door, his sister ambushed him. "So, B or O?"

"I can’t be an alpha?"

Hana gazed at his five-foot-five height and shook her head with a grimace. "Not even in your wildest dreams. So, O or B?"

Lin Yunfeng lowered his head with a sigh.

His mom ran in happily. "Oh my god, Yun! Do you know our neighbor aunt’s grandson is an alpha? I saw him last sumr. He was so handso, and he has abilities! Gosh, you should have seen him moving that fla around the room..."

How else did he expect his parents to react to his news?

Rolling his eyes, Lin Yunfeng headed up to his room. "Don’t bother finding a match. I will cut that guy’s balls off if he cos near . I swear, Mom, don’t make a murderer," he shouted, slamming the door behind him.

His excited parents gazed at the closed door.

"Honey, we must buy so knockout spray and a protection knife."

"Yes, maybe I can find a military-issued gun for him too. I can already see how many of those dogs will follow after him."

"Yes, yes, he is such a beauty. Why did he have to take after ?"

Lin Hana watched them with her eyebrows twitching. "Hello, guys, I’m also an oga."

Their skeptical gazes fell on her. "We don’t have to worry about her," they said in unison and walked away, leaving a gaping Hana.

"The disparity. I want a knockout spray too!" she shouted, running after them.

Lin Yunfeng heard their conversation from inside his room with a pout. At least I’m not the only oga in the family. With that small reassurance, he plopped down on the bed.

He woke up from his nap with a growling stomach.

Lin Yunfeng glanced at the digital clock on the wall. It was half past ten, and no one had bothered to wake him up for dinner.

"They left out," he muttered tiredly, sitting up and stretching his muscles.

His limbs had gone cold.

Trembling, he wrapped himself in a thick duvet. "Why the heck is it so cold?"

A strong gust of wind rushed into the room, bringing in the cold fragrance of cherry blossoms. He hurriedly ran to the window and closed it.

But right as he was about to shut it completely, he noticed sothing at the end of the street.

It was that car.

It was parked in a different spot now.

Frowning, he took a photo of it. Soone is trying to kidnap . Chuckling, he sent it to Jai along with the picture.

"I hope they tape your mouth shut, or else their ears might bleed," Jai replied in just a second.

Lin Yunfeng growled and called him. "Are you really my best friend? Where is the concern? Where is the love?"

"Shut up. Why are you up so late?" His friend’s cold voice ca from the other side of the line, along with the small sound of tapping.

"I’m hungry. My family betrayed . They didn’t call down for dinner. Can you believe that?"

"I’m pretty sure you’re at fault for that."

Gasp! "You betrayed too!"

On the dinner table, he found a small pink note.

"The dinner is in the fridge. Heat it up and eat it. Love," his mom had written, drawing a small pink heart next to it.

Even though he was pissed, this small note brought a smile to his face.

"It’s okay. I forgive them. Why are you still up, though?"

"Doing our history howork."

"Shit, I forgot about it." He reheated the food and chomped down on the scrambled eggs and chuckle sandwich. "Will you let copy it?"

"No."

"Please?"

"No," Jai coldly cut the call.

"I’m going to copy it either way," Lin Yunfeng shrugged and ate his dinner.

Late at night, he lay on his bed, unable to get a good night’s sleep. As he rolled around, he thought back to that black car parked outside.

Curiously, he squatted down and peeked out.

To his surprise, the black car was parked right in front of his house. From this angle, he could see two n inside. They were both looking directly into his window.

His heart almost stopped for a second.

Gasping, he crouched down low.

He hurriedly called Jai’s number, but it was busy. "Oh, bastard, pick up the call." He sent another ssage to him, but Jai did not respond.

His whole body started to shake in fear.

"Should I wake my parents? Mum will kill if I wake her up from her beauty sleep, though..." he mumbled, biting his fingernails.

Paranoia was killing him.

The black van brought out all the fear he had about his governnt.

’What if they are secret agents sent to capture ? Will they experint on ? Or breed ?’ He anxiously lay on the cold, hard ground.

After a minute or so, he braced himself and once again peeked out the window. To his surprise, the black car was no longer there.

"Huh?" He put his whole face outside and searched for it, but it was nowhere in sight. "Oh."

His pounding heart cald down. "Maybe I’m imagining stuff."

Patting his chest, he went to bed.

The anxiety and tight nerves loosened up, letting him plunge into a deep, dreamless sleep.

The next day, as he was leaving for school, his parents gave him a small knockout spray and a bracelet that pulled out to reveal a dagger as a protective weapon.

"Our son must be protected."

"Yes, our precious baby must be kept safe from those lousy alphas," his dad chid in, hugging his wife proudly.

"I’m so sad for you, but I’m glad they are not focusing on ," Lin Hana mumbled, patting his stiff shoulders and running out of the house.

"Hana, your breakfast!" his mum ran after her with a plate.

"Laters."

While his mum was distracted, Lin Yunfeng tossed all the things his parents handed him and snuck out of the house. Without looking back, he ran as fast as he could.

"Yunfeng!" his mum called for him. "You have to take these with you!"

Chuckling, he dashed faster.

As he took a small turn, he noticed sothing dark flash before his eyes. A man dressed completely in black stood there with an expressionless face.

Frowning, he tried to walk around him, but the man insistently stood in his way.

"Dude, you’re in my way." Seeing that he refused to move, Yunfeng finally glared at his face. "What? Are you also an alpha? I’m not interested in you, and I—"

The man pulled out a small spray and sprayed it all over his face. Stunned, Yunfeng peered at him, eyes wide open. "What did you...?"

Before he could react, he felt his whole body going limp.

He fell limply to the ground.

"We have secured the target," a rough voice whispered as soone picked him up.

Lin Yunfeng panicked. ’... Sleepy... I can’t... lose my consciousness....’

He fell unconscious.

A sharp pain in his stomach woke him up. Dazedly, Lin Yunfeng tried to open his heavy lids. "H-hurts..." he mumbled softly.

"The subject is awake. Why is he awake? Didn’t you guys give him the correct dosage of anesthesia?"

"We did calculate the right amount, sir, but since his body is special, it might not have had any effect on him."

Through his blurry eyes, he watched two hazy white figures standing over him. Their hands were stained red. "What are... you doing... to ...?"

"Increase the dosage by 1mm."

Lin Yunfeng weakly grabbed the man’s hand. "Where...?"

The man shook his hands off. "Strap him down. He might start to struggle in a minute. Nurse, we need backup!"

Lin Yunfeng shook his head. "Don’t... let go...."

They strapped his hands tightly to the side of his body.

"Let go!" He gained a bit of energy. Soon, a piercing pain ca from his midriff. "It hurts... What did you do to ..." Sobbing, he gazed up at the two hazy figures.

The n stopped for a while and gazed at one another.

"I increased it, but he is not going down."

"Then increase it by 1mm again." He walked away and ca back with what looked like a knockout spray. "This might help."

He sprayed it on his face.

Lin Yunfeng’s hazy consciousness started to fade.

Only one thought remained in his head. ’They are artificially impregnating ... I don’t want it... I don’t want a child... I don’t want to be pregnant. I want to be an alpha... I want to be an alpha....’

"Sir, the pheromone constitution is changing."

"Heart rate is going down!"

"Sir, he is bleeding out!"

"Bring the blood capsules. Feed it to him!"

They shoved sothing into his mouth. A strong, iron-like taste filled his mouth, choking his throat completely.

"Stop! It’s of no use.... Subject 1 has gone into a coma... We need to extract the organ now, or the tissues will die. The pheromone will disappear!"

That was the last thing he heard before Lin Yunfeng completely lost consciousness.
