Chapter 166: Chapter 164: Co On, Let’s Hurt Each Other

The cave wasn’t large to begin with, and now, filled with the black spider legs sprouting from Silas Stowe’s body, it felt incredibly cramped.

"SKREEE—"

The black spider legs propped him up from the ground, the two foremost limbs stabbing violently after Jocelyn Grant’s retreating figure. If her previously sealed Cultivation hadn’t been released, allowing her to move with such speed, she would have already been riddled with bloody holes by those legs.

Jocelyn Grant was horrified by the sight!

’What in the world is this monster? A human body with long, black, hairy spider legs. And there’s a spider’s head attached to his back, its eyes staring right at , making that skin-crawling, skittering sound.’

She dodged the spider legs, her body spinning as she waved a hand, unleashing Magic at Silas Stowe.

A white light from the Magic flared inside the cave.

"What have you beco? Silas Stowe, you disappoint

so much right now."

Hearing this, Silas Stowe laughed.

He began to speak. "Disappointed in ? That’s not what you said when you were holding , Joce. You said I was all you had now. You said you felt safe with . What happened? You took one look at my face and everything changed. Suddenly I’m a disgusting monster you’re disappointed in. Ah, your words really hurt. But what can I do? Even if you’ve had a change of heart, I still love you, Joce. I just love you... Keh heh heh... Let’s be together forever, Joce. We’ll never be apart again."

Jocelyn Grant’s expression froze.

’She had said those things.’

Silas Stowe’s body was suspended in the air, propped up by his spider legs. Before Jocelyn Grant could process his words, one of the legs shot straight toward her.

"I’m actually doing great like this, Joce. Look, I have so many extra legs. I can walk sideways, forwards, and even on walls. After I ate the inner core of that Phantom Spider Demonic Beast, I feel like I’ve found my purpose in life. Joce, let’s have a couple of little spiders together. That way, you’ll never leave ."

’Have little spiders?’

A chill of revulsion ran down Jocelyn Grant’s spine.

The re thought of being surrounded by little spiders calling her "mother" made Jocelyn Grant’s face turn ashen.

’No, Silas isn’t the Silas I knew anymore. The Silas Stowe of today is an Evil Cultivator who has rged with a Demonic Beast. How could I ever be with him? Perhaps the Demonic Beast has already taken over his body completely.’

With this thought, Jocelyn Grant shouted, "Silence! I am a mber of an Immortal Sect. How could I associate with a monster like you? Silas Stowe, you’ve gone completely mad! Look at yourself! Cultivating Evil Techniques will only bring harm to you and others. Silas, snap out of it! You can’t remain so lost. It’s not too late to turn back!"

"Turn back? Hahaha... And what if I don’t want to?"

Jocelyn Grant gathered her Cultivation into her sword and declared, "To prevent you from harming others in the future, I have no choice but to kill you today."

Silas Stowe stopped laughing.

He stared at Jocelyn Grant and said, "You’ve changed, Joce. You don’t like

anymore, and now you want to kill ... I’m so hurt. But it’s okay, I don’t bla you. After all, how could my Joce ever be wrong? You’re just making the sa mistake that all won make. Once I capture you and we have our little spiders, I’ll refine you into a Puppet. That way, we can be together forever! Hahahaha..."

Jocelyn Grant couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

’She never imagined Silas Stowe would have such thoughts—to turn her into a Puppet. And she had almost let him succeed.’

A pang of pain shot through Jocelyn Grant’s heart!

’Why?’

’Even the sweet, obedient Silas from her mories had beco this.’

’He was no longer the boy she once knew.’

Jocelyn Grant was heartbroken. She truly couldn’t bear to see him like this. After all, she had genuinely loved this boy. The only thing she could do for him now was to give him a swift, painless death.

Having reached this conclusion, Jocelyn Grant attacked without reservation, each of her moves aid to kill. For a ti, the cave was filled with layered waves of Magic and Sword Qi.

Both of them possessed Golden Core Stage Cultivation, and their battle caused the cave to collapse. The two of them flew out from the rubble, their ergence shaking the very earth and mountains.

Once outside, it was just as Silas Stowe had said: his black spider legs could move sideways, forwards, and even scale walls.

"Stop struggling, Joce. I’m not going to let you leave ."

Jocelyn Grant was sick of him. "I was so wrong about you! If I’d known you were an Evil Cultivator, I never would have saved you in the first place!"

Silas Stowe replied, "Too late for that! Keh heh heh... You’re beautiful even when you’re angry, Joce. I can barely stand it. I just want you to hold ... Co on, let’s make our little spiders right now."

Jocelyn Grant’s face darkened.

"Get lost... you disgusting thing."

In a fit of fury, she unleashed her Sword Qi and sliced off two of Silas Stowe’s spider legs.

The spider legs were now a part of Silas Stowe’s body, and he let out a pained scream as they were severed. The black spider head on his back shrieked along with him, its cry a high-pitched SKREEEEEEEEEE.

Silas Stowe’s eyes snapped to Jocelyn Grant.

"My legs... You bitch, you’re my undoing."

In an instant, he was upon her, one hand clamping around her neck as he opened his mouth and bit down hard on her shoulder. Jocelyn Grant let out a piercing scream.

Silas Stowe’s face filled with regret. He wrapped an arm around her waist. "Joce, why did you make

do that...? I didn’t an to... I don’t want to hurt you... I can’t control myself."

Blood flowed from her shoulder.

Jocelyn Grant’s face was pale.

"You monster, just die!"

She reached out, grabbed the spider head on his back, and twisted it off.

"AAAAHHH!"

Jocelyn Grant and Silas Stowe traded blows.

If Celeste Grant were here, she would have definitely started singing, "Co on, let’s make a scene! We’ve got all the ti in the world, after all. Co on, let’s hurt each other!"

In the end, Jocelyn Grant was no match for him.

Silas Stowe, hovering in midair, extended a black spider leg and ran her through. Impaled on the limb, Jocelyn Grant could only stare at him.

She couldn’t believe he had actually done this to her.

"You... why?"

Tears stread down Jocelyn Grant’s face.

She couldn’t believe the person she loved could treat her this way.

Silas Stowe retracted his spider leg, and Jocelyn Grant’s body began to fall. In that sa instant, he reached out and caught her, pulling her into his arms.

He looked down at the woman in his arms, his face a mask of anguish. "I’m sorry, Joce. I didn’t an to hurt you. Please, forgive ."

At that mont, Jocelyn Grant found him truly terrifying. She pushed him away, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Stay away from ."

Seeing her recoil from him like that, Silas Stowe was instantly consud by jealousy. "You still can’t forget those other n, can you? Jocelyn Grant, do you even have a heart? Haven’t I been good enough to you? You bitch..."

He grabbed Jocelyn Grant’s hand and slapped her across the face.

Jocelyn Grant’s injuries were too severe. She could no longer hold on, and her vision went black as she fainted.

Silas Stowe caught her as she fell.

He gently caressed her cheek, his expression full of adoration and pity.

"Don’t even think about leaving , Joce..."
