Chapter 110: Chapter 108: He Could Barely Suppress His Smile (Part 1)

Seeing that look of self-doubt on his face.

Celeste Grant smiled to herself, leaned close to his ear, and whispered, "Actually, it wasn’t bad. I feel pretty good. My cultivation increased a lot today."

Javier Sinclair’s eyes lit up when he heard that.

He couldn’t quite suppress a smile.

’Of course I know how to do sothing as simple as Spiritual Dual Cultivation,’ he thought. But the mont the thought crossed his mind, it was replaced by the image of his arms around her waist. A flush of heat crept up his ears.

Javier Sinclair lowered his head slightly, his Adam’s apple bobbing. A hint of anticipation flickered in his eyes.

’If she wants to cultivate again, she can co to

anyti. I’m always available.’

Thinking of this.

He averted his gaze and said with a straight face, "In the future, you can co to

whenever you want to cultivate. With my level of cultivation, I can help you improve yours very quickly."

"Is that so?"

Celeste Grant raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Does The Exalted One truly want to help

improve my cultivation..." She paused, lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "Or... does The Exalted One just want to be close to ?"

Her voice sounded as if it were right beside his ear, making it burn.

’I’ve always believed my self-control was strong enough to resist any woman’s allure, but I can’t seem to refuse her.’

Javier Sinclair grabbed her by the shoulders, pushed her away slightly, and turned her head to face forward. "You’re overthinking things. I just saw that your cultivation was low and decided to help you out."

His voice was low and deep when he spoke.

So stubborn.

Celeste Grant chuckled. "Is that so? You don’t have even the slightest ulterior motive? Not even a little desire to be close to ?"

Javier Sinclair said nothing.

’How can I admit it? I’d lose all face. She’d probably laugh at

for my lack of self-control.’

Thinking of this, Javier Sinclair said flatly,

"No."

As he spoke, he glanced at her, then retracted his hand and placed it casually on his lap.

’So proud and stubborn!’

Celeste Grant glanced at him, her gaze sweeping across his profile as she said with a wry smile, "Oh, so that’s how it is! I thought that since The Exalted One perford Spiritual Dual Cultivation with , you must like

and want to be close. It seems I was overthinking things. I was even looking forward to continuing with The Exalted One in the future... but never mind. I’m being too forceful! I won’t impose on The Exalted One."

Javier Sinclair: "..."

’So, she does want to cultivate with

again?’

’This damn stubborn mouth of mine!’

At that mont, Javier Sinclair’s expression was utterly grim, as if soone owed him a fortune. His icy gaze landed on her. In a fit of anger, he seized her by the neck, pulled her in, and crushed his lips against hers.

’This woman is so infuriating!’

Celeste Grant looked up at his face, now looming over hers, and arched an eyebrow.

’So he does know how to take the initiative?’

Celeste Grant placed a hand on his waist to brace herself, but he lifted her onto his lap.

More kissing and cuddling ensued.

After the kiss.

Javier Sinclair gave her a dangerous look and said in a low voice, "Your cultivation is only at the Golden Core Stage. Tonight, you will continue Spiritual Dual Cultivation with

to increase it. You need to break through to the Nascent Soul Stage as soon as possible."

Celeste Grant stared at him.

Then she couldn’t hold back her laughter.

’This must be his last shred of pride.’

HAHAHAHA.

Celeste Grant wrapped her arms around his neck, leaned in close, and whispered.

"You stubborn man."

Javier Sinclair shot her a sinister look and sneered. "Celeste Grant, do you want to get a taste of my Ten Thousand Souls Banner?"

Celeste Grant placed her fingers lightly on his chest and said gently, "A delicate little thing like , how could I possibly withstand the Ten Thousand Souls Banner? Why don’t you just spank

instead?"

’Spank... her????’

!!!!!

Javier Sinclair: "..."

When it sank in.

He blushed.

He finally managed to squeeze out a few words.

"You... you woman... all you ever say are such improper things."

He finally understood.

This woman was just shalessly flirting with him.

Staring at her face for a mont, Javier Sinclair quickly looked away. He lifted her up, set her down properly on the soft couch beside them, and vanished.

All that was left in front of her was a floating wisp of black smoke!

Celeste Grant scratched her head.

"What’s so improper about that? I was just saying..."

What had she just told him he could hit... ’Oh, dear.’ It seed it really was a little... On second thought, she had to admit that what she’d said was indeed rather improper.

Celeste Grant thought she might have been a bit too bold.

’So he got shy and ran away?’

"Hahaha... I’m dying."

"His defenses completely crumbled."

’I can’t believe a casual comnt from

had such a devastating effect.’

’The Archfiend really needs to get out more! One little sentence and his defenses just crumble.’

She was in a good mood.

Celeste Grant stood up and walked to the railing, looking down. With a flicker of movent, she appeared on the ground below. That was the great thing about the Cultivation World: you could teleport. And if you were traveling, you could fly.

No wonder there were so many cultivation novels back in her original world. After all, who didn’t dream of cultivation?

’So, what should I do next?’

Increasing her cultivation and becoming stronger was important, of course, but Celeste Grant hadn’t forgotten her main goal: to make money.

’I’m going to beco the richest woman in the Cultivation World!’

At that thought, she stroked her chin.

She smiled faintly.

Then headed straight for Elder Lawson and the others.

People in the Cultivation World were now widely using the mobile-phone-like Magic Treasures. It was ti to upgrade their functions. So many years had passed, and she had no idea what progress the research team led by Elder Lawson had made. Celeste Grant hadn’t had a chance to properly catch up.

Back when she was first developing the phones, she had shared so of her ideas in a way that Elder Warren and his team could understand. There was bound to have been significant progress.

This brought her to the Hall of Forging in the Bloodfiend Den. Its core was located deep inside, requiring one to descend far underground to reach it.

Celeste Grant descended the steps, making her way toward the core area of the Hall of Forging.

As the most crucial location for Artifact Refining R&D, it was guarded around the clock by the Core Disciples of the Bloodfiend Den.

No outsider could ever hope to sneak in here.

Celeste didn’t need to guess to know that spies from the Righteous Immortal Sects must have infiltrated over the years. But she suspected they hadn’t even managed to beco Core Disciples and were probably still sweeping the grounds in the Outer Sect.

Seeing her arrive.

The disciples standing guard outside imdiately placed their hands over their chests and bowed, their faces alight with excitent.

"Greetings, Madam."

"Greetings, Madam."

"Mm, thank you for your hard work."

"We pledge our lives to The Exalted One and to you, Madam."

Celeste Grant gave a faint smile.

She was used to this.

The disciples of the Demonic Sects were all fanatics. This wasn’t limited to the Bloodfiend Den, but included the other five major demonic powers that followed its lead. All of them looked to Javier Sinclair as their leader.

Perhaps this was why they could stand against the Immortal Sects. The Immortal Sects were rife with internal strife and factionalism, whereas the entirety of the Demonic Sects answered to Javier Sinclair alone. If he gave the command, all the Demonic Sects would mobilize as one. Of course, the main reason for this was his overwhelming strength. The Demonic Sects needed a powerful backer, and his reputation alone was enough to deter any major foe.
