Chapter 109: Chapter 107: Discussing the Matter of Dual Cultivation

Her gaze fell upon his handso face.

Celeste Grant reached out, her fingers gently pressing against his cheek as she lowered her voice. "I know of a type of magic—Spiritual Dual Cultivation. It’s said to increase one’s cultivation, but I don’t know if that’s true."

The next mont.

Her kiss landed on his forehead, their bodies pressing lightly together.

Javier Sinclair’s eyes widened.

’This woman?’

’She... actually dared...’

’To be so... audacious.’

However, Javier Sinclair didn’t resist her intimacy.

He grasped her by the waist.

"You can give it a try."

As he spoke, he closed his eyes, allowing her Divine Sense to enter his domain...

At first, she truly only wanted to experience the so-called Spiritual Dual Cultivation.

Well.

She certainly got an education.

She was teased and toyed with by the Archfiend all night long.

「The next day.」

When she woke up,

her face flushed red.

’So *that’s* Spiritual Dual Cultivation! It really does increase one’s cultivation.’ She lifted her hand; her cultivation had strengthened considerably.

’A few more tis, and I could break through to the Nascent Soul stage directly.’

In truth, whether it was Spiritual Dual Cultivation or actual physical dual cultivation, these were things that could only be done with a Taoist Companion.

When she got up,

Javier Sinclair was nowhere to be seen.

The feeling was a little... empty.

’Maybe I’ve really started to fall for him. After all, people aren’t made of stone. After spending so much ti together, how could I not develop feelings?’

Just as she was getting angry wondering where the hell he’d gone,

Javier Sinclair’s figure appeared before her. He was dressed in navy blue robes today, his hair held up with a jade crown, looking dashing and handso.

Even though Celeste Grant didn’t consider herself a shallow person, she couldn’t help but take a second, and then a third, look.

He was holding a Jade Bowl with a spoon in it. He walked over to her, waved his hand to sit down, and passed the bowl to her.

"I examined your sea of consciousness yesterday. Your Divine Sense is weak. If you encounter soone with a powerful Divine Sense who tries to possess your body, you won’t even have the strength to resist."

"My Divine Sense is weak? Mine?"

Javier Sinclair sneered.

"If not you, then who? ?"

He gestured toward the bowl as he spoke. "This is a Spiritual dicine that can strengthen your Divine Sense. It should be effective enough for you."

Celeste Grant glanced at him.

Their eyes t, and he blushed, quickly looking away. "Hurry up and drink."

’I can’t believe he went to get

a Spiritual dicine to strengthen my Divine Sense so early in the morning. Just hearing about it makes it sound incredibly rare.’

’Is this the special favor of the Archfiend?’

Celeste Grant felt that if he kept this up, she might just end up becoming a little love-struck.

"Thank you, The Exalted One."

Celeste Grant reached out and took it.

She picked up the spoon and took a sip.

It had a faint sweetness and a dicinal aroma. The Spiritual Energy was so rich. One sip was refreshing, as if her mind had suddenly beco crystal clear.

"This really is good stuff. It must be very rare, right?"

Javier Sinclair reached out to take the bowl, but Celeste Grant’s sharp eyes caught sight of a wound on his hand beneath his sleeve.

"You’re injured?"

"Who did it?"

Her heart skipped a beat.

’Javier Sinclair is an expert at the Transcendence Tribulation Stage. Who could possibly hurt him?’

She grabbed his hand and pushed back his sleeve to look. There was indeed a deep gash on his hand, as if made by a knife. His sleeve was stained with blood.

Seeing the wound, Celeste Grant was baffled. The strange thing was, it didn’t look like it had been inflicted by soone else.

Celeste Grant frowned slightly.

"How did this happen?"

Javier Sinclair saw her worry.

He let out a cold laugh.

"Worried about ?"

Celeste Grant shot him a glare.

"You’re my son’s father. Can’t I be worried about you?"

The implication was clear: she was, in fact, worried about him.

’I knew this woman couldn’t live without .’

A surge of joy welled up inside him, but his face remained impassive. He said nonchalantly, "No one in the Cultivation World can harm . I did this to myself."

Celeste Grant reached out and touched his forehead.

"Are you crazy, cutting yourself like that? Or do you have so kind of masochistic streak?"

"What nonsense are you spouting!"

He grabbed her hand.

Pulling it away from his forehead, he explained, "So rare Heaven and Earth Spiritual dicines require a blood offering to bloom. The stronger the cultivator’s cultivation, the more potent the resulting flower will be. The one you just ate is one of them."

He pulled his hand back as he spoke.

"You got lucky."

Celeste Grant froze.

Her gaze fell to his hand.

Her heart was touched.

’In my mind, a ruthless Archfiend like him, famous in all the rumors, should be completely selfish. But he actually hurt himself for my sake.’

’I thought I might be the one becoming a little love-struck, but it turns out he’s the one who’s already hopelessly head over heels.’

Celeste Grant fell silent.

She simply took his hand.

She brought her fingers together and used the All Things Rejuvenation Technique. With her Wood Elent Spiritual Root, her cultivation of this magic had a healing effect. If she were stronger and could master this technique, she could even regenerate severed limbs without a problem.

In just a mont, the deep wound on Javier Sinclair’s arm slowly healed for the most part, but blood still seeped from it, unable to close completely.

’My cultivation is still not high enough.’

She cast the magic again, a bead of sweat forming on her forehead.

Javier Sinclair stopped her.

"That’s enough! You’re only at the Golden Core Stage; you can’t heal

completely. It’s just a small wound, it’ll heal on its own in a couple of days, it’s no big deal. Look at you, acting like you’ve never seen the world. It’s just a little blood. In the Cultivation World, bloodshed is common. You’re making a mountain out of a molehill."

Javier Sinclair’s words were as sharp as a knife, but his gaze upon her was gentle.

With his level of cultivation, ordinary people couldn’t harm him. Even an expert at the Divinity Transformation Stage wouldn’t be able to leave a single mark on him.

But since he did it to himself, that was a different matter.

Celeste Grant was a little angry.

"From now on, don’t do things that hurt yourself, not even for . You’re being foolish, and you’re supposed to be the notoriously fearso Archfiend."

Javier Sinclair blushed.

He reached out, pinched her cheek, and said nacingly, "Celeste Grant, who are you calling foolish? Watch your mouth."

’As if he’d care if it were anyone else.’

’It’s only because she’s the mother of my child.’

Seeing his proud and prickly expression, Celeste Grant didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

"Does it hurt?"

Javier Sinclair sneered.

"Who are you looking down on with such a small wound? If you’d found it any later, it would have already healed."

She gave him a speechless look.

"The Exalted One is truly proud his entire life. I give up."

"Don’t do this again next ti."

She leaned in and blew on it gently.

"Because... it makes my heart ache."

Javier Sinclair looked down, his gaze falling upon her face.

This was the first ti she had ever said so directly that her heart ached for him.

He placed his hand on her head and stroked it gently.

"It’s nothing."

As he spoke, he waved his hand, and the bloodstains on his sleeve vanished.

Looking at her,

Javier Sinclair was reminded of their Spiritual Dual Cultivation, and a trace of embarrassnt appeared in his eyes. "How did you feel last night?"

Hearing this,

Celeste Grant smiled faintly.

"What do you think, The Exalted One?"

Javier Sinclair: "..."

’How should I know? It was my first ti too.’

’Don’t tell

I didn’t leave a good impression. Should I go grab a couple of disciples from the Elysian Sect and find so books to study?’
