From the high vantage point of the Paradise Command Center, one could see a waterfall-like avalanche of snow ravaging the valley below. The deafening ROAR was just like thunder.
Yu Zhizhi followed behind the young man from the Guard Team, her rabbit ears drooping as if trying to block out the concussive sound from outside.
At the end of a corridor flashing with lasers stood a tank-like intelligent machine that glided along. One of its eyes was broken, a dark and empty socket. "Firepower locked on," it said. "Foreign species detected. Comnce bombardnt?"
The machine’s right arm aid in Yu Zhizhi’s direction.
It seed that with just a single command, it would blow the foreign creature’s head to pieces.
Yu Zhizhi’s face went deathly pale.
She instinctively ducked behind the young man from the Guard Team, trembling with fear.
Soon, a gentle voice ca from above her.
"Don’t be afraid. It’s just joking with you."

Yu Zhizhi peeked out and saw the robot spinning around happily on the floor, pleased with its successful prank.

The tank-like machine raised its arm in what looked like a military salute. "No~ Pro~blem~"

The tank-like machine was about half a person’s height. It activated its small motor, rolled its wheels, and glided past the two of them.
The young man from the Guard Team pushed the door open.
Inside the spacious room was a testing apparatus. A blue circle of light was projected onto the floor; all one had to do was stand inside it.
The young man gave a military salute to the male Beastman in the room.
Following their instructions, Yu Zhizhi stepped into the circle of light.
At the doorway, a young guard peeked in curiously.

The young man from the Guard Team nad Luther gave a slight nod and led the way.
They passed through a clean corridor and arrived at the command center’s lounge.
Inside was a long dining table and comfortable, soft chairs.
The tank-like machine ca in carrying a tray and placed two cups of freshly brewed, steaming hot coffee on the table.
It made a point of circling the little Rabbit Clan female once.
"Excuse , do I need to collect her information?" the tank-like machine asked, looking up at the young man in the brown uniform.
Yu Zhizhi sat in a chair. The room was very warm, a stark contrast to the world of ice and snow outside.
She was a little nervous, her hands resting on her lap, unsure of what she should do.
Luther said gently, "Let’s collect it next ti we et."
’This Rabbit Clan Lady has just arrived in an unfamiliar environnt; she’ll need so ti to adjust. Sothing like collecting her information can wait a few days.’
The tank-like machine slid away on its wheels.

He recalled a ssage he had seen earlier. "There weren’t any before, but one was transported here two days ago."

"By air transport. A steam-powered airship brought it back directly. It’s going to be auctioned in Paradise tonight at eight. Ms. Zhi Zhi, did you co here for the rmaid? I can take you to the auction house."
