While the other candidates rushed toward the holograms like moths to a fla, Lethia calmly scanned each one until she found her na glowing on the northern screen.

A flicker of dread crept in as she clicked her tongue at the sight of her individual assignnt stats.

Just as she suspected, anything tied to physical strength sat shafully below average.

Especially speed. Compared to the other candidates, she might’ve been the slowest of them all.

"Please pay attention!" The sharp command from a female voice over the speaker silenced the crowd in an instant.

Then a larger hologram blood at the center of the hall, forcing everyone to step back and gather around to see what ca next.

Trainer Alie appeared on the screen, her cold charisma radiating through a calm, practiced smile—like a queen too distant to touch.

"Good evening, Candidates. Congratulations on surviving the individual phase." She stepped aside, letting a video play next to her, showing what looked like a modest six or seven-story office building stood tall in the middle of a wide open field, with several others positioned a few hundred feet apart.

"Now, I will explain what’s required for your final stage. As an executive aide, you won’t be working alone. Which is why the committee wants to see how well you perform in a team. And this ga will show us just that."

The video beside Alie showed three teams sprinting into the building, splitting off to regroup with their own.

"This ga will be called The Red Mission. So basically, each team will carry out a mission to reach the penthouse located on the very top floor of this six-story office building."

"No wonder the top of the building looks different. Is it like we need to ascend to heaven?" Chasey whispered to Lethia.

"We’re already in one."

"So it would be heaven in Haven. Must be a good massage chair waiting there."

Lethia shot her a look, catching the way Chasey’s eyes sparkled with excitent as she watched the video. She shook her head, baffled by how simple that girl’s mind could be.

"Each team consists of five mbers, and every building will host three teams. These three teams will compete for ten red cards, used to unlock both doors to the penthouse. Each door requires five cards."

"In other words, only ten people will make it inside the penthouse—and automatically earn rewards and bonus points for the final evaluation to beco an executive aide."

Alie turned slightly as the video beside her showed two teams making it to the penthouse while one sat slumped in defeat below.

A few light giggles scattered through the crowd—the avatars in the simulation wore exaggerated, comical expressions.

But Lethia wasn’t paying attention to their faces. Her eyes were locked onto what they were holding.

"As you can see, these avatars are ard with handguns and rifles loaded with paintballs. Ah, and by tomorrow morning, the chip implanted on your wrist yesterday will begin to restrain your supernatural wolf or beast abilities.

Lykon Haven was built on intelligence and strategic behavior, we don’t want our mbers using their brute nature to take whatever they want. So, you’ll be ard with paintball guns to strategize your way into getting the red cards."

Alie moved her hand, rewinding the video beside her like pulling ti back into her grip.

"So, the mission flow would be like this:

Three teams will enter through separate doors and imdiately start hunting for five red cards each.

You’ll be at war with each other for those ten red cards spread throughout the building, and the fight lasts for eighteen hours until the card panel at each penthouse door opens.

Once the eighteen hours are up and the panel opens, you’ll need to place the red cards while alive.

Get hit three tis with a paintball, and your vest’s indicator will display ’death’.

If you’re holding a red card but end up dead, one of your surviving teammates will have to revive you by retrieving a blue card from the Guard.

Each building has three of them. And the Guards? They’re immune to paintball. So, how do you get the blue card from them? That’s entirely up to them, however they choose to play with the candidates.

Then, after all team mbers are alive and holding a red card—and the panel’s open—you can unlock the penthouse door and enter as winners.

You’ll find out the kinds of rewards waiting for you in the penthouse later.

But, for the best motivation not to play passively in this ga, out of the ten people who make it into the penthouse, your nas will be entered into a draw. Five lucky candidates will receive an invitation to the Lykon Gala next week."

The ga flow simulation flickered off, replaced by Alie’s towering figure as she filled the entire hologram screen.

A wave of noise burst out from the candidates, all of them starting to buzz in confusion, voices overlapping as they tried to make sense of the rules.

"Well," Alie began, "I know the biggest question in your mind right now is whether the five people who don’t make it to the penthouse are automatically eliminated from becoming an executive aide.

The answer is... no. Because the committee decided to rank all of you based on your points, starting from the interview process.

But, if I’m being honest... unless you’ve had consistently high and excellent points since the interview, your chance of passing if you fail this ga is less than one percent. So, do your best to reach the penthouse.

You’re free to choose your own teams, decide who will be your team captain, and we’ll wait until tomorrow at 8 AM for your team list.

We’re also monitoring your behavior throughout the entire ga through the CCTV spread across the building. So, do not break these two rules—no brute physical attacks, and no real blood should spill on the track.

Good luck... and have a good dinner."

The hologram vanished instantly after Alie gave a slight bow and gave a soft smile.

A soft smile that made Lethia flinch, because it was far more triggering and infuriating than a mocking one.

But that wasn’t what stunned her in place.

Not Chasey, who was frantically rambling beside her about how she had to win that damn Gala lottery invitation.

Lethia stood frozen, her fists clenched tightly, eyes locked onto her own profile on the wall, where her individual physical test results were laid bare for everyone to see.
