Before long, John, riding his Skarmory, arrived within a thousand ters of the border of Wyvernia. It was clear that as soon as he appeared, a large number of the country's thermal weapons were imdiately locked onto him.

The destructive power of these advanced thermal weapons was no less formidable than that of an Elite-level Pokémon.

Yet why, ever since the ergence of Pokémon, had thermal weapons gradually been replaced by Pokémon in this world?

The reason was simple. Compared to living creatures like Pokémon, thermal weapons were ultimately inanimate objects. Pokémon were agile, and flexible in battle and those at the Elite-level possessed intelligence on par with humans.

Thermal weapons could only strike fixed targets, and if the target was too far away, their attacks could easily be intercepted by enemy defenses.

Facing the array of weapons before it, the Skarmory at John's side flashed a look of disdain. With its abilities, these so-called heavy weapons had no chance of harming John at all.

"Andrew, get your ass out here!" John roared.

The mont John had begun speeding toward them, the radars had already picked him up, and Wyvernia's forces had imdiately notified their Champion, Andrew.

About a hundred ters away from John, the ground suddenly collapsed, and in the next mont, Andrew erged atop a Hippowdon from the fissure.

"John, it’s been a while."

Though Andrew was already in his eighties, advanced dical technology made him look no more than fifty. Standing at 1.8 ters tall, dressed in a tailored suit—he looked more like a business mogul than a national Champion.

"You bastard, hand over my grandson right now—I know he's in Havenburg!" John growled coldly.

As his words fell, two Poké Balls on his belt opened automatically.

A silver tagross and an Aggron materialized on either side of him.

tagross, Level 94. Aggron, Level 92. And in front of him, a Skarmory, Level 91.

The presence of these three Champion-level Pokémon imdiately pressed down on Andrew like an overwhelming force.

Click.

Andrew smiled faintly as a Poké Ball at his waist also opened. A muscular, orange-bodied Pokémon appeared, its lower half shrouded in pure white clouds, with a thick, coiled brown branch-like tail extending from within.

It was none other than the Ground/Flying-type Legendary Pokémon—Landorus.

No one really knew what stroke of luck Andrew had stumbled upon, but when he was sixty, he’d sohow gained Landorus’s recognition—elevating his strength significantly.

Landorus, Level 93.

Hippowdon, Level 91.

The two Champion-level Pokémon also released their auras, but it was a struggle.

Even though Landorus was a Legendary Pokémon, John’s tagross was no ordinary opponent. At the Champion level, unless you faced a First-class Legendary—a being whose innate existence stood at the pinnacle of life—there was no easy victory.

That's why even a Legendary Pokémon like Landorus would find its innate superiority aningless against Champion-level Pokémon.

Landorus and Hippowdon could barely withstand the oppressive aura emanating from John’s three Champion-level Pokémon.

Click.

The next mont, another Poké Ball on John’s belt popped open automatically.

Out erged a Pokémon shaped like a tortoise, its head covered by a tallic helt-like plate. Its body was reddish-brown, speckled with brown-and-orange markings, and its legs were adorned with tal-like anklet structures. Each foot had four claws, arranged in a cross pattern.

As soon as it erged, the surrounding air temperature rose noticeably.

"Heatran!!"

At the sight of this Pokémon, Andrew’s composure shattered.

According to all available intelligence, John only had three Champion-level Pokémon—there had been no ntion of a Heatran.

"Hmph. My new partner. Consider yourself unlucky."

John’s gaze was icy. Heatran was a recent acquisition from a Top-tier secret realm. He had to defeat it over a dozen tis before it finally submitted and agreed to follow him.

Besides, his grandson already had multiple Legendary Pokémon—how could he, as the grandfather, have none? That would be utterly unacceptable.

Heatran, level 93. Its addition had given John’s overall strength a massive boost.

Originally, among the six Champions of Drakoria, he had been the last to attain the title, but his strength wasn’t the weakest—he had ranked fifth, just above the bottom.

Now, with Heatran, he could claim the third spot.

He now possessed four Champion-level Pokémon. The second-ranked Champion had five, while Duke, Drakoria’s strongest Champion, boasted six or more.

The combined aura of John’s four Champion-level Pokémon instantly overwheld Andrew’s two.

"You captured my grandson. Today, I’ll capture you in exchange!"

"Attack!"

John gave the order without hesitation.

"Fall back!!"

Knowing he was outmatched, Andrew imdiately commanded his Pokémon to retreat. At the sa ti, the military forces stationed behind him unleashed a barrage of thermal weapons toward John—

But the missiles fired by Wyvernia were intercepted mid-air by Drakoria’s Tenth Legion.

General Sam roared, "Charge! Wipe them out!"

Since they had already struck first, there was no holding back. And with John now fielding four Champion-level Pokémon, their side already held an unbeatable advantage.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The armies of both nations erupted into fierce combat.

Missiles, gunfire, and blazing explosions lit up the sky.

At the sa ti, countless trainers joined the fray. Against the cumberso thermal weapons, the agility of Pokémon gave them a clear advantage.

Of course, the trainers didn’t recklessly charge forward—after all, they were still flesh and blood, and this was a real battlefield. Even a stray explosion could easily kill them.

"Aggron, push forward! Skarmory, take out those aircraft! Heatran, Earth Power!" John commanded.

tagross stood firmly by his side, its psychic energy forming an impenetrable barrier. The bullets from Wyvernia's forces couldn't even scratch it.

Aggron stomped toward the enemy's tank division, its steel-plated body shrugging off artillery shells as if they were cotton balls. Not a single dent was left on its armor.

With a single swing of its arm, Aggron flipped a tank like a toy. A stomp of its foot crushed another into scrap tal. And when it unleashed a Hyper Beam, at least thirty tanks were obliterated in one sweep.

If not for the presence of Drakoria's own soldiers on the battlefield, Aggron could have ended the entire Wyvernian armored division with a single Earthquake.

anwhile, in the air, Skarmory transford into a steel-plated war beast. Wyvernia's fighter jets were nothing but jokes before its razor-sharp wings.

However, Skarmory was soon intercepted by Andrew's Landorus.

At the sa ti, Aggron found itself locked in battle with Hippowdon.

But John still had Heatran—and who was going to stop it?

Even when two of Wyvernia's Pseudo-Champions and six of their Elites joined the fight, Heatran obliterated two Elite-level Water-types in just a few minutes.

Victor scoffed: "Am I invisible here? Dragonite, Salance, Kommo-o, Goodra, Garchomp—kill them all!"

Five pseudo-legendary Dragon-types. Five pseudo-Champion-level powerhouses.

This was nothing short of utterly unfair dominance.
