Although none of these five Revival Herbs were fully mature, if soone were to dig them up, they could still be sold for a hefty sum.

Even if their dicinal effects were weaker, they were still Revival Herbs.

A fifty-year-old Revival Herb could fetch five to six hundred million at an auction, while a hundred-year-old one could easily break the one-billion mark.

Revival Herbs were almost always sold at auctions, where their value could be maximized.

There was never a shortage of buyers—any big family would definitely have so stored away for ergencies.

Just as Julian was about to leave, the ground beneath his feet suddenly trembled, sensing danger, he imdiately leaped onto tagross.

A deep crack split open the earth, and from beneath, a Pokémon resembling a bipedal ankylosaurus erged—with a tree growing on its back.

"I was wondering why these Revival Herbs weren't guarded by a Pokémon. Turns out, it was underground."

Julian looked at the Torterra in front of him, it still seed drowsy, as if it had just woken up.

Without thinking, he asked, "Don't tell you were just sleeping?"

By all logic, this Torterra should have appeared the mont he got close to the Revival Herbs.

Afterall, he had plenty of ti to dig them up just now.

Torterra’s face twitched, and it glared at Julian in anger.

"You’re not supposed to call out like that!"

"So that’s how it is," Julian chuckled.

Torterra was a Pokémon naturally inclined to sleep. So smaller Pokémon even built nests in the trees on its back—so would spend their entire lives there.

And this wasn’t just any Torterra—it was a peak pseudo-Elite one.

"Let’s go."

Julian had never planned to take the immature Revival Herbs, since there was no reason to fight, he wasn’t about to waste ti on a pointless conflict.

With his command, tagross lifted off into the sky, and Dragonite followed closely behind.

Only Celebi lingered behind, staring longingly at the Revival Herbs.

'If we sold those, I could buy so much fried chicken and potato chips…'

"If you don’t hurry up, I’m leaving you behind."

Julian’s voice rang in its ears.

Celebi: "Hmph! Don’t even think about it!"

Another failed treasure hunt.

Julian was getting a bit frustrated.

"Third ti’s the charm," he muttered.

Today, he had to find at least one decent treasure, he glanced down at the Dowsing Machine.

Ten red dots were impressively displayed, but unfortunately they were not very big.

This grass- and water-type Secret Realm was actually one of the most abundant in treasures. It required shorter formation ti for treasures which made it one of the most lucrative Secret Realm.

Of course, with every advantage ca a drawback—while treasures were plentiful, very few had the power to truly transform a Pokémon.

Just like the Revival Herbs from before, there were bound to be more of them in this Secret Realm—probably quite a few.

While Revival Herbs were extrely powerful, capable of healing both Pokémon and humans on the brink of death, they were strictly a dicinal treasure.

And this kind of thing didn't increase strength at all.

If you or your Pokémon never on the verge of death, then a Revival Herb was nothing more than a decoration.

It was only useful in critical monts—a lifesaver, but not a power booster.

As for when it ca to deciding which was more important—survival or strength—opinions varied.

---

The forest stretched far beyond Julian’s expectations. Dragonite had been flying for nearly an hour, yet they still hadn’t reached the edge.

tagross shot a resentful look at Julian, it used to be his go-to ride.

But ever since Dragonair evolved into this big, bulky thing, Julian had forgotten all about it.

'You’ve changed.'

Julian didn’t even need to look to know what tagross was thinking.

Among his Pokémon, tagross was easily the most jealous for his attention.

If the fans knew their beloved tagross was actually a giant sulky baby, he wondered how they’d react.

Probably fall even more in love with it.

Lost in thought, Julian was snapped back to reality when a sudden Energy Ball shot out from the treetops below, Dragonite didn’t even flinch, because tagross had already moved to intercept it.

Boom!

The Energy Ball shattered on impact.

The noise naturally pulled Julian back from his thoughts.

Dragonite also ca to a halt.

"Sceptile~"

Perched atop the canopy, a Sceptile stared at Dragonite and tagross with a taunting look.

"Elite-level"

Julian raised an eyebrow, recalling what he had read from the information about this secret realm before, this forest did have Elite-level Pokémon and not just one but there were three Elite-level Pokémon recorded.

And the three Elite Pokémon in this forest were: Torterra, Shiftry, and Roserade.

But the Sceptile in front of him? Nowhere on the list.

Pokémon: Sceptile (Grass)

Level: 71

Potential: Cyan

Ability: Overgrow

Held Item: None

Gender: Male

Moves: Giga Drain, Fury Cutter, False Swipe, X-Scissor, Energy Ball, Pound, Slam, Leer, Leafage, Quick Attack, ga Drain, Detect, Quick Guard, Assurance, Double Team, Leaf Blade

TMs: None

Egg Moves: Synthesis, Leech Seed, Leaf Storm, Night Slash

---

"So it just broke into Elite rank recently."

That explained why it wasn’t in the records.

The three registered Elite Pokémon—Torterra, Shiftry, and Roserade—were on the Trainer Association's 'Do Not Capture' list to maintain the ecosystem balance of the forest.

Since this Sceptile wasn’t registered on the list, it could be captured.

Julian had already caught a Cyan-grade Shiftry before, and now, an Elite-level Sceptile had appeared.

Even though he hadn’t found any valuable treasures yet, if he managed to capture Sceptile, this trip would already be worthwhile.

Of course, Julian had no intention of training it, his team’s focus was clear:

1. Primary Type: Steel

2. Secondary Type: Dragon

Anything outside of that? Not a priority for now.

Counting Magearna, which was still on standby, Julian already had twelve Pokémon, if he included the cheeky Celebi that refused to leave, that made thirteen.

For soone his age, that was more than enough.

Although most Elite-level trainers had anywhere from sixty to seventy Pokémon, only a dozen or so were actually trained to be main battlers.

And among them, their ace Pokémon were usually one or two at most.

Sceptile: "This is my territory. Who said you could pass?"

Sceptile was one of the more aggressive Grass-types, on top of that, it had a ga Evolution, which gave it the powerful Grass/Dragon typing.

So the market value of this guy was very high.

Capturing it and handing it over to his family could be useful for trade deals, exchanging it for other valuable resources from other families.

Sceptile: "Which one of you wants to co and fight ?"

It curled its fingers, making a taunting gesture, its face full of arrogance.

Julian smiled slightly.

'A proud one, huh?'
