Axel, Lance, Steven, and Cynthia had gone to a very lavish restaurant. It was one of the busiest restaurants in the city.
"I must say, the interior is very different and interesting. Look at all these pictures. The uniforms of the waiters are also very interesting. How have I not heard of such a restaurant before?", asked Cynthia.
One of the things that people didn’t know about Cynthia was that she was a foodie. She loved to go to different restaurants to try out various kinds of dishes.
"Yes, this is one of the most popular restaurants in the city.", said Axel with a smile brimming with pride.
"But the place looks packed. How are we going to get a table here?", asked Lance.
At that ti, Axel smiled and said, "Don’t worry, I own the place."
All of them were surprised to know that Axel had a restaurant chain too. Is there anything that this guy was not good at?
anwhile, Axel was happy that he could have a Bruce Wayne mont.
The waiter greeted them politely and took them to a different room. The room was big with a big table covering almost the entirety of the room with many tables and a lot of decorations.
Axel suggested so of the food that they should have and finally, the discussion was going to start.
The food ca all of them appreciated the food and the new style of the restaurant. After eating so, Lance finally said, "The reason I wanted all of us to et is to discuss the issues of the world."
If this was said in normal circumstances, then everyone would be making fun of Lance. Why would a bunch of teenagers have to worry about the world?
But the ti was different now.
The tide battles were happening very often and it was not normal. Everybody knew that sothing big was going to happen.
"So, what do you want to talk about?", asked Steven.
"First of all, let’s ask Axel about him being the first knight. I think he knows about it more than us.", said Lance, and now everyone was staring at Axel.
Normally, Axel would not have shared anything. He knew a lot of things that they may not and he wanted to get an upper hand. But the tis were different. Axel knew that if he wanted to cure Arceus and get a handle of these tide battles, then he would need allies. Powerful Allies.
"How much do you know about Arceus, Xerneas, and how the universe was made?", asked Axel.
All 3 of them got interested in the question.
"Well, it is said that before there was nothing, and then suddenly, Arceus ca out of the egg and it created the universe with the help of the creation trio. Xerneas was also a part of it but it is quite vague on what it is a part of.", said Steven.
Everybody knew about this part of the history. But since it had happened a long ti before, nobody was sure about it. So, there were many variations of the story and this was the most popular one.
"Ok, don’t get too excited. Even I don’t know how the universe ca to be. But from a lot of rumors and reading a lot of books, I have co to the conclusion that Arceus didn’t create everything.", said Axel.
"Axel, where are you getting at, and what does this have to do with tide battles?", asked Cynthia.
"Cynthia, let’s hear the man out. What do you an by that? What are the things that the Arceus didn’t create?", asked Lance.
"A lot of things. It is rumored that Ho-Oh ca from sowhere else and Arceus didn’t create it. It is sort of like an independent being. Xerneas is the sa case. And I strongly believe that there are different realms like the shadow realm where Giratina lives. There is also a different realm in which Xerneas lives.
I believe that Arceus didn’t create these realms but only the current universe where we are living."
Axel strongly believed this. He had been to the fairy realm and he could tell that Arceus neither created it nor it had any sort of control over that realm.
"Ok and...?", asked Steven.
"Now, what would happen when there are multiple beings that control the universe, instead of one?", asked Axel.
"They might fight?"
"Bingo."
"So, you an to say that there are sohow fighting and this is affecting the rise in tide battles?"
"Yes, that is precisely what I am talking about."
"So, we are in team Arceus?"
"No, we are in team Oak, as in the Pokemon master Oak. Most of the ti we forget that Arceus will take care of us. Which is not right. We are under team humans, not team Pokemons.
We are the allies of Arceus and Pokemons but that doesn’t an that we will be allies for eternity.", said Axel.
"Axel, why are you giving us cryptic information. Just tell us straight. Has Arceus turned its back on us?", asked Lance who was clearly frustrated on how Axel was explaining things.
At that ti, Steven said, "Because he cannot say it. Soone might be watching us."
At that ti, Lance finally realized how fucked he was. A drop of sweat started to co out from his forehead.
"If I am not strong enough like the first Pokemon master in 10 years, we are all going to die.", said Axel with a sigh.
"How confident are you in doing that?", asked Lance.
"I have zero confidence. That is why I decided that I might need a lot of powerful allies that would help and hence this conversation.
That is not the only thing that I have been doing. I created this rcenary team. I also created a daycare where Pokemons could be nurtured. But I am a lone man. There is not much I can do.", said Axel.
At that ti, Cynthia took a big gulp of orange juice and said, "Axel, are you confident that we have only 10 years?"
"Yes, I am sure about that."
"So, what do you want us to do?"
"I want all of you to get strong. Far stronger than now. Increase your training speed and also create a team like . If you don’t want to create a rcenary team like , then gather so powerful and trusted allies.
Also, I want us to share information, so that we can increase our powers more drastically. That is the only thing that I can think of right now."
The 4 of them started to talk about how to increase their power levels. Axel also shared the aura techniques that he received from Lucario and also proposed about the soul arts but none of them were interested in soul arts.
"I wanted to be the next Pokemon master, winning the championship battle from all the regions and then challenging Mr. Oak but now I cannot do that. I will have to think about the tide battles now.", sighed Cynthia.
"You can beco the next Pokemon master if you try hard enough. When all the shits hit the fan, no one would care about challenging all the champions from all the regions. The strongest human will be considered as the Pokemon master.
During ancient tis, they selected the Pokemon master by the sa old thod.", said Axel.

The next day,
"The second day of the Blaze family Pokemon competition is going to start. I hope that all of you are excited to see elental-rank Pokemons duke it out. I know that I want to.
Now, let’s see the list of participants for the elental rank Pokemon battle.
Salance (Axel) Typhlosion (Cynthia) Xatu (Cynthia) Poliwrath (Steven) Feraligatr (Axel) Arbok (Arjan) Nidorina (Anjali) Vileplu (Rosh)
One might think about the other elental rank Pokemons of Axel. But in those 3 months, except for Lucario, others had ranked up to pseudo-king rank. This showed how serious they were in their training.
After the news of Axel’s disappearance, they had trained to the limit partially blaming themselves for being weaker.
Those 8 Pokemons started to take their turns to fight. Axel noticed that Anjali’s Nidorina and Arjan’s Arbok were very well trained. They obviously lacked a lot of resources but they had done their best.
Salance and Feraligatr had also beco powerful. Feraligatr was on the verge of rank up, so it was quite good in dealing with Cynthia’s Typhlosion but unfortunately, it lost the battle.
Typhlosion was then beaten by Salance and after another round of fights, Steven’s Poliwrath also lost against Cynthia’s Xatu.
Xatu seed to have mastered the move ’Teleport’ quite well and it was very fast in using it. Its use of the move ’Teleport’ and ’Confusion’ with ’Pysbeam’ made it quite a deadly attacker.
Finally, the battle between Xatu and Salance started.
Axel was very confident that Salance would win this battle. It was a dragon-type Pokemon and it had an excellent foundation. It had very high defense and attack stat.
But he was proven wrong. Cynthia’s Xatu was also very special. It was fast and its special attack moves were very deadly. It could teleport multiple tis at a close distance and attack.
The battle went on for nearly 10 minutes. Axel believed that if the battle extended, Salance was sure to win because it had very high stamina. But Xatu was also not so easy to deal with.
It directly used the move ’Substitute’ and then used the move ’Rest’ to recover. The substitute started to protect the real one while the real one was recovering. Due to its ability ’Early bird’, it was able to wake up faster and also heal a lot of its health.
Then it entered into so crazed mode where its speed and attack power increased exponentially. This must be a newly created move of this Pokemon but if that was not enough, it started to glow and rank up in the middle of the battle.
It was ranking up to pseudo-king rank.
And that was how Salance lost the battle.
Everyone felt pity for Salance because of its bad luck. Salance was very powerful for an elental rank and it might even have won the battle but since Xatu ranked up in the middle of the battle, all of its health and stamina was recovered and now it was even stronger than before.
"We will continue the pseudo-king rank battle after so ti. Please enjoy the break."

Pokemon POV starts,
"Oh, co on. You don’t have to feel so sad. It was just bad luck.", said Priape as it patted Salance’s back.
Salance was having a hard ti digesting the loss that it just took. It was a dragon-type Pokemon. How could it lose against a psychic-type Pokemon?
"Salance, it is okay to lose but we cannot lose in the coming tide battle. Try to think why you lost against that Xatu and tell the reason tomorrow.", said Togekiss as Salance started to fly towards the forest.
"You didn’t have to be so hard on him. It was just a competition.", said Lucario when Salance had flown away.
"I know that but right now it can not believe that it lost. I can tell that it did a good job or it was just a competition but it will not understand that right now. I said that to make it concentrate on its training. Don’t worry.", replied Togekiss.
After ranking up and evolving to Togekiss, it cented its position as the leader of the young Pokemon group.
Even it didn’t know how powerful it was right now against others. But it could clearly tell that a pseudo-king rank Pokemon would not be able to defeat it.
