A few minutes later, Chris had collected all hundreds of Poké Balls scattered across the floor.

Before arriving at this location, Chris had already tested an important discovery—Gardevoir's Secret Power could open his secret base even in the Hisui Region. More importantly, he could access the PC system inside the secret base to exchange Pokémon. This ant he could exit the ga world and switch to reality whenever he needed to swap out his team mbers.

All his previous concerns had been unnecessary. He could change his Pokémon roster whenever he wanted.

Chris handed the hundreds of Poké Balls to Gardevoir, who gracefully carried them into the secret base. Once inside, he transferred all of them through the PC and sent them directly to the ranch for safekeeping.

With that task complete, Chris turned his attention to the real challenge—Regice, the guardian boss of this floor.

"Gardevoir, let's go," Chris called out.

ga Gardevoir glided forward elegantly, positioning herself beside her trainer.

As if sensing the approaching threat, or perhaps detecting the shift in air temperature, Regice began to levitate from the ground several hundred ters away. Unlike Regirock's beads which ford a cross-shaped pattern, Regice's seven yellow dots were arranged in a different configuration. The mont it activated, those yellow beads flashed red, and without warning, Regice launched its attack.

The opening salvo consisted of three consecutive techniques.

"Blizzard!"

"Icy Wind!"

"Ice Shard!"

Regice's crystal pillar-like arms waved gracefully. Within seconds, a fierce blizzard engulfed the area for hundreds of ters in every direction. Its other arm swept through the air, unleashing a wave of freezing cold mixed with sharp Icicle Spears. The combined assault was quite formidable.

"Light Screen," Chris commanded calmly.

Gardevoir raised her hand slightly, and an invisible barrier materialized instantly, shielding both herself and Chris from harm.

No matter how fierce the Blizzard raged or how many Ice Shards flew toward them, the Light Screen remained completely undisturbed.

The gap in power was simply too vast.

The Regice before them was slightly higher level than the Regirock they'd faced earlier, but it was still only at Level 83. For ga Gardevoir, this would be another one-hit knockout.

"Psychic," Chris said, pointing forward.

ga Gardevoir's movents mirrored those of her trainer with perfect synchronization.

The wind and snow obscured Chris and Maya's vision, but soon a crisp sound echoed through the chamber and reached their ears. It was a distinct "thud"—as clear and sharp as a steel needle striking the ground.

Within monts, the blizzard dissipated naturally, the winds dying down to nothing.

Regice remained in front of the stone platform it had been guarding, but it was no longer floating. Instead, it had been driven straight down into the solid floor, completely embedded in the ancient stone.

It had been knocked out in a single strike.

Chris casually tossed a Poké Ball forward. The capture was effortless.

ga Gardevoir used Confusion to retrieve the Poké Ball, and monts later, Regice's status panel appeared before Chris's eyes.

[Regice (Ice-type)] (Legendary Pokémon)

[Level: 84]

[Ability: Clear Body (Prevents other Pokémon from lowering this Pokémon's stats)]

[Individual Values: HP (31), Attack (31), Special Attack (31), Defense (31), Special Defense (31), Speed (31)]

[Moves: Icy Wind, Ice Shard, Blizzard, Charge Beam, Bulldoze, Ancient Power, Stomp, Ice Beam, Curse, Amnesia... Hyper Beam, Explosion]

[Held Item: Primal Pearl]

Chris stared at the panel, a sense of déjà vu washing over him. He had definitely seen this exact configuration sowhere before.

He silently pulled out the Poké Ball containing Regirock and checked its status. Sure enough—aside from minor differences in the na field and move list, everything else was identical. Sa ability, sa stats, sa held item.

"Are perfect IVs really this common here?" Chris muttered under his breath as he retrieved the Primal Pearl from Regice.

It might have been his imagination, but Chris could swear the Primal Pearl from Regice was slightly larger than the one from Regirock. If both the Rock-type and Ice-type legendary titans carried Primal Pearls, then logic dictated that Registeel, the third mber of the legendary golem trio, should also possess one.

Chris stood up and headed toward the fourth floor, Maya following close behind.

The keystone required to unlock the entrance to the third underground level was identical to the one Chris had obtained on the second floor—another legendary Pokémon item called the "Life Orb."

His collection of divine-grade materials had just increased by one. Bagon would be thrilled.

The fourth floor was completely different from the ice chamber above. The overall atmosphere was sowhat eerie and unsettling, and there weren't many Pokémon living in this area.

However, no matter how few they were, Chris wasn't about to leave resources behind. He collected them all systematically, following the sa efficient pattern he'd established.

He let Gardevoir handle the encounters while he and Maya moved quickly toward the stairs connecting the fourth floor to the fifth.

Standing guard at the entrance, protecting both the keystone and the stairway, was exactly who Chris had expected—the final mber of the legendary golem trio.

The Steel-type legendary titan, Registeel, Level 88.

Registeel's upper body was gray and spherical in shape. Seven red dots on its head ford a hexagonal pattern. Unlike its companions, Registeel possessed an actual palm structure with articulated fingers—a stark contrast to Regirock and Regice, which only had arm-like appendages without proper hands.

Combined with its tallic body design, Registeel gave off an impression of solid, heavy alien technology at first glance. The aesthetic was striking and sowhat otherworldly.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

Registeel stepped forward on its short legs, each footfall producing a loud tallic sound as it struck the ground. The echoing clangs reverberated through the chamber.

It seed that Regigigas had been quite fair when creating the three legendary golems. It had granted Registeel more dexterous hands capable of fine manipulation, but in exchange, it had given the Steel-type titan shorter legs. Unlike Regice, Registeel couldn't levitate or fly.

"For a Steel-type opponent..." Chris considered his options carefully. "Let's go with Garchomp. Use Bulldoze!"

Bulldoze—a powerful Ground-type move that would be devastatingly effective against Registeel.

Garchomp erged from its Poké Ball in a flash of colorful light, imdiately switching to its "battle stance" through ga Evolution. The transford Garchomp raised its head and roared triumphantly, "RAAAWR!"

Then it charged forward with trendous force, the ground trembling beneath its powerful strides.

anwhile, back on the third floor...

After sending an urgent ssage to their captain, Sabi and Gaeric had finally arrived with their team mbers, though sowhat later than intended.

"Why is there no sound?" Gaeric asked, confused and wary. "Are there no Pokémon on the third floor at all?"

Both the first and second floors had been teeming with Pokémon. If Chris had engaged in battle here, there should have been so kind of commotion, so indication of combat.

There had been noise earlier, but it seed to have lasted only a brief mont...

Thinking the battle might be intense and that Chris could use assistance, they had quickly brought reinforcents.

"Probably not," Sabi replied casually, gesturing for the team mbers to advance quickly and maintain their pace.

She was well aware of Chris's true strength. Ordinary Pokémon, no matter how nurous, couldn't possibly slow him down or present any real obstacle.

Within minutes, both teams arrived at the base of the stairs leading to the fourth floor. The scene that greeted them was telling.

The blizzard had completely subsided. Broken Icicle Spears were scattered everywhere across the floor. The stone platform that should have held the floor's guardian stood empty and abandoned.

Gaeric's eyes widened as he took in the scene, and the corner of his mouth twitched involuntarily.

"Wait... are you telling that between the ti we sent that ssage and now, he single-handedly cleared the entire third floor?" Gaeric's voice carried a mixture of disbelief and reluctant admiration.

The implications were staggering. Not only had Chris defeated Regice, a legendary Pokémon, but he'd also captured or defeated every other Pokémon on this floor in what couldn't have been more than a few minutes.

Sabi surveyed the battlefield, noting the minimal damage to the surrounding area despite the obvious intensity of Regice's initial assault. The precision and efficiency were remarkable.

"That's Chris for you," she said simply, already moving toward the stairs to the fourth floor. There was no point in dwelling on what they'd missed. If Chris was already engaging Registeel on the next level, they needed to catch up—not to help, but to witness and docunt what was surely going to be another extraordinary battle.

The team mbers exchanged glances, a mixture of awe and determination on their faces as they followed their leaders deeper into the ancient structure.
