"Mmm… Shaymin feels sooo good right now~ Hehe, thank you, Dawn…"

Shaymin rolled around comfortably on the table, clearly enjoying the back rub Dawn was giving it.

This little fluffball had learned its lesson—it had to behave, or Ash would toss it out like a misbehaving owth. Ash had made it very clear: if Shaymin dared act spoiled again, no trip to the flower field.

Right now, they were on a train.

Ash already knew that Zero was coming.

But honestly? Who cared?

If he ca, Ash would simply deal with it.

In fact, Ash thought Zero was quite a character.

He'd managed to capture an Exploud-level Magnezone, along with a whole squad of Magnemite and Magneton. Magnemite were great for certain battles—small, fast, floating—and their numbers could be overwhelming.

Still, if Zero showed up looking for trouble, Ash wouldn't mind showing him just how fiery the flowers could bloom...

The Reverse World was vast. Beyond imagination.

So far, only one man had managed to figure out how to travel there: Professor Newton Graceland.

Even he couldn't stay inside it for too long—he had to exit every now and then to replenish his supplies.

Ash was convinced Newton's entry thod had a cost—perhaps it required so sort of consumable resource.

Right now, deep in the Reverse World, Newton anxiously watched Giratina soaring through the skies in erratic loops.

He had no idea his forr student Zero was planning to manipulate Giratina for his own ends.

But Newton had seen everything: Giratina, Dialga, and Shaymin's strange interactions. He knew that Giratina desperately wanted to return to the real world.

As a researcher who'd studied the Reverse World for years, Newton wanted to help. He knew Dialga had already returned to its own ti dinsion—Giratina wouldn't find it even if it escaped.

Still, he had one last trump card.

The Irregular Stone.

This mysterious gem allowed Newton to enter and exit the Reverse World.

Using it would consu its power completely.

But Newton believed he had learned all he could.

It was ti to let Giratina go.

Back on the train, Ash, Dawn, and Anabel were quietly listening to the passengers chat.

Everyone nearby was talking about Shaymin.

More specifically: the Gracidea Flower.

The Gracidea looked identical to the blossoms on Shaymin's head.

So even believed Shaymin was the embodint of the flower—a sprite among petals.

Every ti Shaymin overheard these complints, it would lift its head proudly, throwing Ash a smug look.

But one glance from Ash, and the little hedgehog would zip its mouth shut, too scared to talk back again.

At that very mont, unknown to the passengers below, two Pokémon were standing atop the train's roof.

One was a shining platinum-colored tagross.

The other, Ash's Pikachu.

Ash knew Zero would co chasing after them.

So he sent Pikachu and tagross ahead to hold the line against the incoming wave of Magnemite and Magneton.

"Gurrooooss…"

"Pika pika!"

tagross tilted its head, asking Pikachu what they were doing up here.

Pikachu shook its head… then nodded.

"You'll see soon enough," it seed to say.

And sure enough— Zero appeared!

Riding inside a sleek aerial vehicle, flanked by an Exploud-class Magnezone, and an army of Magneton and Magnemite!

Pikachu's cheeks sparked faintly, small bolts crackling with anticipation.

"We finally et," Zero shouted. "You knew I'd co, didn't you? Even set up an ambush on top of the train—how amusing! But it won't matter. My Magnet Army will crush you!"

He was already imagining it—capturing Shaymin, forcing it to use Seed Flare, unlocking the Reverse World's rift, summoning Giratina…

Then controlling Giratina using his replicated machine.

He would beco the New Ruler of the Reverse World!

Zero raised his hand.

"Go!"

Hundreds of Magnemite and Magneton surged forward, swarming toward the train roof like a silver tide.

"GURROOOOSSS!!"

tagross's four eyes began to glow bright blue.

Ash had taught it a brand new psychic technique—and this was its mont to shine!

Deep in its mind, a storm of psychic energy began to churn.

tagross began calculating complex combinations in re milliseconds.

Ash had nad the move: Psy-Formula Array—a powerful crowd-control ability.

For a tagross with a supercomputer brain, this technique was ideal.

It began with Psywave—sending waves of psychic energy outward in layered concentric rings, creating a ntal cage.

Then, it layered in Psyshock.

With its imnse processing power, tagross could amplify the shock level depending on the enemy's strength.

Weaker foes received lighter hits.

Stronger ones?

Crushed under powerful ntal force.

Any Pokémon within five levels below tagross's range was instantly paralyzed—unless they had a type advantage.

Zero watched in stunned disbelief.

His entire Magnet army just… stopped.

Midair.

Frozen like statues.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! MOVE!! GRAB SHAYMIN!!"

But his Pokémon didn't budge.

"PIKACHU!!!"

From above, Pikachu roared.

A bolt of lightning, like a divine thunderstrike, ca crashing down!

BOOM!!!

The entire army—Magneton, Magnemite—blasted apart, scattered across the landscape like broken tal toys.

….

The train sped on, leaving behind the wreckage.

And Zero, standing amidst the fallen pieces, dazed… shattered.

"No… If I can't capture Shaymin, I can't unlock the Reverse World…"

He clutched his head in agony.

But just then—a portal appeared.

Professor Newton Graceland, with great effort, had used the Irregular Stone to open the gateway.

From within…

Giratina erged.

The Renegade Dragon had returned to the real world.
