The Living Bodhisattva still looked serene, as if she was unaware of the storm the card would cause.
She only turned to everyone. "Should we have a team battle first to get familiar with each other?"
Since they were there to participate in the team competition, Wen Jiang naturally would train with her teammates to increase their rapport and proficiency.
None of them objected. "Sure."
Tang Qian was already struggling to contain her excitent. "You guys go ahead and get ready. I want to speak with Wen Jiang for a mont."
Chen Runyu looked deeply at Tang Qian before proceeding with his teammates to the training area to wait for Wen Jiang.
Once they had left, Tang Qian turned to Wen Jiang, unable to wait any longer. "How much are you selling this Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine Card for?"
Since Wen Jiang had publicly posted it online, she was clearly intending to sell it widely. Tang Qian, as a mber of Mount Flower, naturally wanted to secure a preferential price for her faction. They would likely need one for each person, making this card one of Mount Flower’s essentials.
Wen Jiang chuckled. "For our own people, no charge."
Tang Qian was montarily stunned by Wen Jiang’s generosity, feeling her understanding of her deepen. Seeing that Wen Jiang genuinely wasn’t fixated on this small profit, she still reluctantly shook her head. "I am very grateful to you, but that’s not possible. If you don’t want to publicly reveal your identity as a Card Maker, I will apply to the leadership for funds to account for this card. If you don’t take the money, I won’t be able to explain it."
That made sense.
Wen Jiang looked down. "Just give the lowest market price then. Say that Chen Runyu has cooperated with before and that the Card Maker is willing to offer a preferential price."
For such a divine card, one the public would inevitably buy, the price would surely be set at the highest tier for A-Level cards. Offering the lowest preferential price in that context made sense.
Tang Qian’s eyes lit up. "Alright, on behalf of the association, I thank you."
How fortunate, to have t such a person, who was accidentally discovered by her disciple. If Wen Jiang had gone to any other association, it would have been the greatest loss in Mount Flower’s history.
Elated, Tang Qian went to handle the matter. With one happy event following another these past few days, she even felt an exciting new energy infusing Mount Flower.
However, when she thought about Jimo Xiao, Tang Qian still felt a sense of regret.
Such a sha. A noble loyal to the Empire had vanished just like that. Although the Jimo Family now had a relative with a different surna at its head following Jimo Xiao’s passing, as long as they didn’t bear the Jimo surna, they weren’t truly considered part of the Jimo Family. What a pity.
While Wen Jiang and Chen Runyu were training with the others, the outside world had already been turned upside down by the Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine.
「Especially on the Spirit Card Master forums.」
[Explosive! The new A-Rank Divine Card, Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine, is now recomnded for purchase! The sales channel is open, with the card priced at two hundred thousand! Conscientious Card Maker, conscientious Card Maker!!!]
[Damn, the Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine Card is available for purchase now? The Card Maker didn’t even respond when I ssaged them this morning!]
[What A-Rank Divine Card? Are Card Makers who hype their cards now so shaless? They dare to say anything.]
[First, they leech off Yunxia civilization, and now they’re hyping a god-level card. I’m curious which association’s Card Maker is behind this; they’re so good at promotion.]
[Selling the new card for two hundred thousand is indeed a fair price... but that’s only if the card truly is a good one. There are plenty of useless A-Rank cards, and now they’re releasing evaluation results right after putting it up for sale? I don’t believe it!]
[BOOM—Mountain Ghost Tan Heming has personally tested it and posted to prove it’s indeed a divine card!]
[Holy shit, Tan Heming says this card can instantly heal an A-Rank Card, and a typical Spirit Card Master can heal three to four tis in one go! That’s like having three to four Resurrection BUFFs! Is this card defying the heavens or what?]
[It’s a delayed Healing Card, but it lasts for one minute. Within that minute, you can casually heal a card on the brink of collapse. Aweso!]
[Fuck, this is a god-tier card for competitions! Paired with a Defense Card, wouldn’t that be a guaranteed nightmare? Almost grind it down, and then it’s instantly back to full health? And you’re telling there are three or four chances for this?]
[Previous Healing Cards weren’t this powerful; they could only restore a certain percentage of spiritual power. Now we’re screwed. Just having one A-Level divine shield card was annoying enough, and now with multiple healing cards like this one, I can already see the awkwardness of relentless attacking just scraping by.]
[Everyone should be thankful that the shield card is from Broken Heart, and not like this Healing Card, openly available for purchase to everybody.]
A-Level Spirit Card Masters and their competitions are completely different from B-Level. An A-Level Spirit Card Master can use a single A-Rank Card to hold their ground for a long ti.
In A-Level competitions, it’s not about whittling down the Spirit Card Master’s spiritual power. After all, waiting until they can’t hold up would take forever. It’s better to directly obliterate the Card Spirit. Spirit Card Masters can hold on, but Card Spirits have limited defensive power. Once the Card Spirit is shattered, the Spirit Card Master might still have plenty of energy left, but without the card, they also lose their qualification for the match. This is unlike in B-Level competitions, where a Card Spirit breaking apart often leads to the Spirit Card Master suffering from excessive consumption and ntal depletion.
Previously, the Broken Heart Association had a shield card called Space Mirror. It unfolds a mirror-like shield within a certain range, devouring most of a Card Spirit’s attacks upon impact. Its defense is also very strong, capable of lasting a long ti. It was especially effective when protecting offensive Card Spirits beneath it. The shield could be lifted when an opponent was distracted and irritable, allowing the shielded Card Spirits to launch surprise attacks. This card belongs to the Broken Heart Association, and even the other two Empires find it disgusting in A-Level competitions.
Now, they could almost imagine how devastating it would be to pair Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine with Space Mirror on the competition field. Ten seconds of endurance produces one pill that lasts for a minute. This allows Space Mirror to be used to its maximum, uninhibited potential.
If offensive Cards fail to break through for a long ti, it’s mockingly referred to as "scraping."
Of course, those were other matters. In fact, as soon as Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine was released, Tan Heming imdiately contacted Zero Egg to discuss purchasing the card. Like Tang Qian, he was soone with particularly sharp wits.
He had no prior contact with Wen Jiang, but the few B-Rank Dual-Change Bamboo Demon Cards had left a deep impression on him. New cards were becoming less and less common in recent years, and even fewer Card Makers could craft a smooth card set.
Previously, his assistant had told him about the Rabbit Demon’s posts, which he hadn’t paid much attention to until this Dual-Change Card Set appeared. That’s when he knew that the entire set must have been made by that person known as Asking the Heavens and the Earth.
And this Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine Card, to so extent, its style was indeed very similar to those of the Rabbit Demon Cards.
Previously, they were B-Rank Cards. How did they manage to create an A-Rank Card so quickly? Or could it be that the creator is actually an A-Level Spirit Card Master?
That’s what Tan Heming thought as he inquired first thing, becoming one of the first clients Zero Egg dealt with.
As an S-Rank Spirit Card Master, he quickly created the card and tested it casually in the training room, promptly confirming its strength.
Just like the B-Rank Demon Race Dual-Change Card set, this Jade Rabbit Pestle dicine could, to so extent, also change the competitive landscape.
